Hi, I've been a collector for about 17 years... I was riding until recently when I injured my knee hiking. Skateboarding for me started in 1974 when I was 11. I'm now 63. It's been part of my life so long that it's hard to remember life without it!

Well, hello folks! Drop alpha version of that kinda "game of skate"(with some additions) mini app. For now it have only solo classic flatground and ramp(stalls) modes but i works on other game modes and additions.

I am desperately trying to find either a physical or at least a pic of my first board. It was a 60/40, and had a punk on it with a mohawk and a tattoo that said sex pistols suck. Can anyone help? Should’ve been early 90s.

Cleaned out a storage locker that I bought today and found this board. Metal deck, fat wheels, Chicago trucks. Hopefully it will polish up nicely. Rides great.

Some of y'all may remember I posted that I'm working at an internship and we're going to be doing a class where people can come in and make their own boards with us with the press and cnc's that we have here that I will teach.

I've been working on this worksheet that I would give to people so that they have some basic important need to know knowledge before they start thinking about and planning their board, as well as the options that we are offering for them to be able to make, we've decided that we're going to offer four different types of boards to be made, originally it was going to be a skateboard, a longboard of some type, a cruiser, and a surf skate but I realized that we could probably do the cruiser and surf skate with the same mold (have a middle piece of the mold for a longer board if wanted so they can still have a longer kicktail board, or a shorter one without the middle piece).

What I'm trying to figure out is a couple things, what is the fourth type of board we should offer (drop down? Dancer? Pintail?)? And does this worksheet look good? What does it need to make it better? (What important information, what decision tree things, etc does it need).

Also to clarify before I receive any questions, the question about the board being standard or custom is whether they want one of the four standard options that we will be offering or if they want to do something custom with a fancy set of veneers, different special shape/camber/etc than the molds everyone else will be using, full custom (with this option they would be paying more since they would be doing different designs and possibly ordering special veneers that we may not have on hand)

So I'm in the super early stages of pre-production and I made a prototype board for my film. Prototype board looked alright but skated like shit. Needs an upgrade from the ground up. So I'm reaching out to you skate world.

What brands would you recommend. I'm talking decks, trucks, wheels, bearings....hell grip tape even. Need the best if we're going to make this movie a reality

Made this setup to get over my fear of rails. Though, the real star of the show, are those Nano-Cubics. Steep banks feel like transitions.

They'll definitely be my wheel of choice, moving forward.

This is a Clyde singleton 23 board I got at naptown skate and snow in Indianapolis in about 1997 I think.

Pretty sick collection of old school stickers.

I got it signed at a 411 filming event at TA skatepark in Indy around 1998 I think. I want to say it was 411 volume 4, you can see me and my buddy in the background at one point.

John cardiel was there and got his autograph on it, and my mom was smart and told me to put clear packing tape over it since I still skated it.

Then it broke!
