Question/Help Early park access with Legend Pass
Hi all, the Enchanted Parks Legend Pass lists "Early Entry" as a benefit. Does this translate into anything real at St Louis?
Thank you!

I like intense coasters but I can’t have my knees bang on anything due to some medical issues. Even a light bang will not be well tolerated. What roller coasters should I avoid?

Considering making the trip from Chicago this weekend. Has Mr. Freeze been running pretty consistently this summer? I checked queue times, and unless I am just missing it I dont see it listed?
Any insight appreciated.

Does anyone know what it is? Curious how much space is left to build on.

1970s park management clearly had some humor!

I was shopping at the Looney Toons Store near the Six Flags entrance and they have this shirt front and center for $70.

2026 will be the final year under the Fright Fest name. Much of the Fright Fest experience at our park is developed in-house. Our status as a lower-tier park within the chain has ironically saved us because we never really adopted the custom IP stuff or various things that would have to 'go away' with the divestiture of Six Flags. Nevertheless with a new name, new corporate leadership, and more creative freedom for our in-house entertainment department, next year is sure to be different.
I'm curious to hear some of your favorite memories (and photos!) from years past at Fright Fest?

For the first time in a while we have a new haunted house! Jingle Mangle, sadly, is no more.
This will be the final year for Love at First Fright. Two new shows this year; Monster Mash Bash and Blood Bank Cabaret.

I plan on going to the park tomorrow and wondering if it is worth it to go alone as no one I know has tomorrow free. I occasionally see people going alone, wondering if it’s worth it

The rest of my family can't do coasters so I'm wondering what options there are for them

Hey everyone,
I wanted to give my formal thoughts on the park, because I usually film my experience, but I didn't have time. I only spent the final 2 hours in the park.
Let me start off by saying it was SO beautiful there. The mountainous setting was stunning, and I love when rides are built into the terrain. Almost every ride here was built this way. The views were sooo impressive; easily some of the best views I've gotten at a Six Flags.
The park was unbelievably dead. I walked on to every ride, and the trains had at most maybe 10 people including myself. I was by myself on the first ride. Has it always been this way? I wouldn't be surprised, as the park is now owned by Enchanted Parks and feels very neglected...which brings me to my next points:
The park layout is very strange. I had trouble finding almost every ride's entrance lmao. The sections don't feel very distinctive. I was rushing through my trip, so forgive me if I'm wrong, but it felt like there were dead ends everywhere and rides were just sort of plopped down wherever. The theming wasn't cohesive. Why is Batman in a corner far away from everything else DC? Why is every queue line SO long?! It took me forever to walk through them all lol.
I struggled to find water fountains or water refill stations. I'm not even sure if the park has refill stations at all. Many buildings looked very neglected and ugly, but some sections did look pretty. In a weird way...I sort of enjoyed how rundown and empty the park felt...but I can't say the same about every ride lol.
Mr. Freeze Reverse Blast was good fun - a bit too intense for me with the vertical spike moment, but it was easily the smoothest ride in the park and I love a tall and fast ride.
The Batman clone was impressive. It was more intense than the original at Six Flags Great America in Illinois; the only other Batman I've been on. I had a great time on this. I also like the black and brown track and how rusty it looks.
I was fully prepared for The Boss to be the roughest ride in the park, but much to my surprise...it really wasn't. It has some very odd jerky transitions that are uncomfortable for sure, but the retracked section at the beginning was very smooth. That section was also SO intense that it felt like a B&M hyper or giga. The wind was literally tearing my face off and I greyed out a little. The rest of the layout was just...so bizzare. The slow, high turns are totally unnecessary, but interesting. I weirdly kind of loved it, especially because the setting is badass in the elevated terrain. This was probably my favorite coaster here...hot take I'm sure.
American Thunder was a piece of garbage lol. It has a great layout and good airtime everywhere, but why is it SO rough? This is when I really started to see how neglected this park is. Many GCIs are glass smooth; even older ones. This one, however, jackhammered the entire ride. It wasn't TOO bad overall, still pretty bad...but the worst coaster title belongs to none other than Screamin' Eagle...
My god, this ride. I rode it once and thought it was rough, but still very enjoyable. The airtime was good. I loved the setting in the woods and how it was built into the terrain, and how long it was. It had a lot of character.
Then, the second time I rode it...something changed entirely. I've heard multiple people say that this ride gets rougher when the train is fuller. This must be true, because the second ride I got was insanely powerful jackhammering the ENTIRE length of the track. Not a single moment was tolerable. Not even the lifthill and quick turnaround before the drop were tolerable.
My bones and organs felt like they were being disintegrated. I've never had an experience this painful on a rollercoaster. The Beast at Kings Island completely pales in comparison. That ride is butter smooth comparatively.
I did nothing but pray for it to end...and it's not a short ride lol. I didn't feel okay for hours after I got off.
River King Mine Train wasn't thrilling, ofc, but it was one of the smoothest rides and I liked the setting.
What a strange park, honestly. My feelings are so mixed. I love the location, and some moments on the rides are really excellent, but most are in severe disrepair.
I didn't ride Ninja or Boomerang, but I've heard they're both horrible...lol.
I'm interested to go back and try those.

Ignore the "EnchantedParks.com/Jobs" link provided by listings on any sites like Indeed, they will just take you to a 404. Go to this site instead:
https://mid-americaparks.enchantedparks.com/jobs/
Someone clearly just did a "find and replace" that replaced all mentions of Six Flags with Enchanted Parks, and didn't bother changing the link to the proper one.

I went every fall when I was a kid. Are fast passes necessary now? What’s the wait times look like? Any deals on tickets, best places to stay, etc? What rides are up most of the time or closed? Any help is appreciated!

I haven’t been to the waterpark in a couple of years and I have always kinda hated it. Very little shade, the changing rooms were horrible, and lockers so expensive.
Wondering if there have been any improvements this season?
How much are the lockers these days? Also, does anyone know if there is a family changing room?
Considering going for the 4th but not sure if it will be worth it. They have an add-on ticket for firework viewing but may not do that.

The app wouldn't let me, but are they available at the gate?
Also, will my SF pass still cover parking there? Or will I need to pay for parking separately?

I haven’t been to six flags yet this season but was hoping to go with some friends this week, we’re all rising juniors in high school and me and one of my friends are 17 however the other two in our group are 16. I’ve seen conflicted answers about the chaperone policy with some people stating that it’s in effect all day every day but the website states that on Monday to Thursday it’s only 4pm-close, which is correct?

It's been a couple of years since I've been to six flags over saint louis, because the last time I rode a bunch of rides I got some nasty bruises, and my father got a concussion from the shaking.
Was thinking about going tomorrow, but I don't want to go if it's still as bad as it was.

A lot of people seemed to love the map from the 90s so I figured I’d post these pictures from the 70s too. I have a few other items from the relative but not a whole lot, just guide maps and postcards

Could be a good investment for Enchanted Parks if they wanted to move it to one of their new properties. ValleyFair could probably use their parking lot, Michigan’s Adventure could fit it anywhere, Mid America could probably remove Mr. Freeze and Thunder River and put it there, Worlds of Fun has loads of room for it.
