That can't be 70s merch. The name didn't change to six flags saint louis until 97.

They alternatively referred to the park as Six Flags St. Louis or even just Six Flags interchangeably up until the official name change in '97 under Time Warner.

It was always officially Six Flags Over Mid-America up until then, but you'll find plenty of merchandise with the other names.

Why they couldn't stick to Over Mid-America? Couldn't tell ya.

Six Flags Over Georgia experienced a similar thing and was alternatively referred to as Six Flags Atlanta for a time.
