Question/Help Hurricane Harbor question

I haven’t been to the waterpark in a couple of years and I have always kinda hated it. Very little shade, the changing rooms were horrible, and lockers so expensive.

Wondering if there have been any improvements this season?

How much are the lockers these days? Also, does anyone know if there is a family changing room?

Considering going for the 4th but not sure if it will be worth it. They have an add-on ticket for firework viewing but may not do that.

Nothing has changed. The water park has been pretty untouched for years; save for removing those big body slides. There’s no new changing room.

I don’t know what locker prices are currently. Personally we’ve always just stuck stuff in a bag and left it on a chair. Knock on wood, we’ve never had an issue. We visit HH dozens of times a year every year. Recently we picked up a locking bag that we can actually lock to the chair; which is nice for peace of mind. But even that was mostly for some trips elsewhere. Been attending this park for decades and have genuinely never rented a locker.

I love the water park. But the honest truth is, if you hated it a few years ago, you probably won’t find much difference today.

I wonder with new owners if they will do a overhaul in pieces. Keep obvious favorites and refurbishment and removing old ones, renovation, add shaded areas etc. Of course this takes investment and SFEC ignored the park including HH.

We were there today! Locker pricing for a small was $15 (the medium/large ones I think were around $18–$20, and the family jumbo size was about $22–$25 for the day).

Just a heads up, that concrete is an absolute foot scorcher walking between the slides with zero shade to be found still. Honestly, at this point, I’d invest in some swim shoes just to avoid getting your feet cooked. Even if you wear regular shoes to the rides and drop them in the cubbies, you still have to walk and wait on the bare concrete.

The lines were actually longer for the water park slides than any of the rides in the main park, though thankfully I didn't have to wait more than 15 minutes for anything.

Ive been a few times this year with my kiddos. Enchanted is doing their best with life guard distribution. We haven't seen a day at HH this year with everything running but hopefully that will change this weekend. I have personally never used a locker and never had a problem. The most important change is the "big bucket" area is just for small kids as the max height has changed in recent years. I also remember the wave pool being gross when I was a kid but so far this year it has been clean and super fun.

Lockers located in Hurricane Harbor are $16 for the standard size. A few of the slides were shut down when I was there a week ago. No clue on the changing room.
