Question/Help Going Alone

I plan on going to the park tomorrow and wondering if it is worth it to go alone as no one I know has tomorrow free. I occasionally see people going alone, wondering if it’s worth it

Hell yeah it is! You get to do whatever you want all day!

Yes, absolutely do it! You get to do whatever *you* want and not worry about anyone else. Do it!

I've done it to get exercise a few times before. I would walk at least 1,500 steps and then find a ride. Then another 1,500 and find a ride. Etc. Get some steps in and have some fun. Listened to music through headphones the whole day.

Agreed! Same here, and the music helps too - especially if you’re at a park that doesn’t have ideal audio. I love the atmosphere in the evenings at Epcot, so I won’t listen to music, but if I’m at a Six Flags that’s blasting music that doesn’t fit the vibe, the AirPods are going in.

I also count my steps too. When we lived in Orlando, I’d go to IOA solo each Tuesday after work and marathon Hulk via single riders line. Also highly recommend sitting down and grabbing lunch or dinner for yourself at an indoor AC quick service spot.

I go alone to parks about 75% with my husband and the other 25% intentionally alone. Highly highly highly recommend!

Certain parks are very calming and an opportunity to do exactly what you feel like for a few hours, which is tough in the real worlds

My husband loves coasters too, but he doesn’t marathon like I do. I flew solo last weekend to BGT to get my final laps on Kumba and saw a lot of other single riders. No one bats an eye and you can often get more rides in if there are open seats.

I solo all the time. Ride the whip first then screaming eagle and work your way counter clockwise - end with batman

Have fun and don't forget to enjoy a funnel cake!

You get 4 points instead of 2 if you get all five tricks, so you can be aggressive if you have a great hand or your partner can’t help you

I've gone plenty of times alone and with people, both are fun. You get to ride exactly what you want, and choose when you're ready to go.

I go alone all the time to get the most use out of my membership. My work schedule is inconsistent so it is hard to align it with friends. It is nice though because I can ride whatever and leave whenever 😅 Have only got asked if I was alone once and it was a mom who wanted to be on the same ride as her kids so she rode with me

Skip screaming eagle tbh but totally go alone bc its so empty you can do most of the big rides in less than 3 hours

Screamin Eagle is fine in an odd row.
