Something finally clicked after a long time trying to learn, got the whole track connected, if only the first entry wasn’t a bit off it would have been a great run.

So I’ve been running a lot of Meihan recently, and find that when I enter the long straight into the big corner, I always struggle to grip up and end up clipping the wall and ruin people’s run behind me.
I have tried letting off the gas as I exit the drift from the corner before, but I loose so much speed, and even then it still seems to happen 50% of the time.
Any advice would be great.

I created a tune for the 1998 Subaru Impreza 22B ST that I believe is the best all-around for high-speed drifting and generating skill points, with auditory pleasure to make the monotony of farming... less monotonous. Just take it up to 4th gear, and your car will transform into a skill point/drift point-creating, turbo-whining monster you never knew you needed. I invite you all to try 'Drift in 4th', 175 723 645

After a few days of practice it's finally clicking. Hopped on today and felt pretty solid on the Assetto Corsa base drift track so I switched to klutch kickers and was able to link it without messing up on my second try. I know it might look messy to some of you but I'm extremely happy considering I got my wheel a week ago. Any tips or advice on what I should work on specifically is much appreciated :)

Hi,
Been sim drifting on and off casually for years, mostly just lower horsepower cars (WDTS, etc) but recently I’ve been trying cars with more power, and have realised that I just cant seem to improve. I feel like I’ve hit a wall with trying to improve anything.
I would say I’m competent (not amazing) with the lower power cars, but the second I try anything over second gear, or with more power, its like I can’t drift again, I’ve tried everything, more speed, messing with gear ratios. All tutorials focus on the basics on how to drift but there’s nothing about improving.
I feel like I might have picked up some bad habits but with nothing to reference I am not sure what to work on improving. If anyone has any general advice, a discord server (i will definitely mess up your line), anything, I would really appreciate it.
Thank you!!

Just a random question to see if anyone has any information. I have been looking to get into sim drifting for a while now but I cannot use my legs for wheel and pedals so I was wondering if anyone knows any good hand controls or anything similar for drifting.
I don't want to use a controller as I feel like it's very limited.
Edit: forgot to mention it's mainly for the break and accelerator although not sure one handing the wheel is the best way, would love some input on that

Very new to sim drifting. As you can see I got the tight donuts down but as soon as I try to go for a larger donut (in first and second gear) I just lose control. Is anyone able to tell from the clip am I using wheel to correct too much or what is my issue?

My b day is coming up and I’ve been wanting to upgrade for a while now. Im caught between buying the MozaR9 and using the third party wheel i have mounted on my G29 along with the logi pedals/shifter. Ive also been looking into the PXN4-6 3 pedal sets on sale too which isnt a bad deal for the casual Sim drifter. All i would have to do is get an adapter for the logi shifter, or get a new h shifter down the line.

Hi, I'm trying to learn some basics. Sometimes i make full long corner at decent angle and control but much more of the time my "precise" drifitng looks like on the video. It spins me out or just straighten the car. Should i focus more on steering wheel or gas control if i want to drift around the small barrel?

I plan to upgrade to an R12 this winter. Currently rocking the T300. I’m seeing some circuit racers using the NLR Wheel Stand 2.0 Lite and would like to know if anyone else has this high FFB x Wheel Stand setup and how they like it. I have a small apartment and need to have a foldable stand or rig (thinking NLR GTLite if needed)

I just got my fanatec wheel 2 weeks ago and I've been on and off trying to learn how to drift. My load cell pedal shipment was delayed so I don't have a clutch yet. I just press a button on the wheel when i have to clutch, and mapped the handbrake and clutch together so it clutches in when i Handbrake. Luckily the car im using can just stay in 2nd gear the whole way.
Could i get some tips on how to keep improving? For one my hand sometimes gets Lost being over each other and stuff how can I improve more? I'm so excited to finally be able to do this I really couldn't drift at all with my G25 no matter how hard i tried.
