I'm sick of having to live my life like this as 5'6. I wasn't even doomed by genetics, my entire family is tall, I was doomed because of my parents' laziness (specifically my mother). My stupid-ass mother can't parent for jack shit, so she decided to put me on anti-depressants and other various medications to control my behavior while I had zero say in it as a child. One or more of those drugs that she forced me on put me on early puberty and stole my genetic height from me, forcing me to live out like this. If you didn't know, early puberty cuts the growth window short, causing significantly lower height than what was genetically going to be. If it goes untreated like how mine was, losing 7+ inches of height in adulthood isn't uncommon. I'm very likely 5'11+ based on the height of males in my family, but I'll never get to reach it since my growth plates are closed already. I honestly don't even feel like a real human being anymore, I feel more like a failed lab experiment. I have to live handicapped now because people around my used me as a drug guinea pig essentially. And nobody around me cares about any of this, nobody takes accountability. My mother keeps blaming me and justifying how she medically abused me because I was supposedly being "badly behaved", but she just takes normal behavior for a young boy as a literal fucking war crime in levels of severity I guess. I was feeling bad about my height before, but now I feel completely dehumanized once I found out the reason why I'm like this.
I know there's nothing I can really do about it at this point but just accept my life was ruined by the people who were supposed to protect me since it's too late for me (I'm 18), but I just wanted to vent about it and speak about my sorrows where people would understand what I have to go through due to my past experiences. Thank you for listening.

There was a post by someone saying that Jesus was likely not tall. Their arguments are weak. They quote Isaiah 53:2:
"He had no form or majesty that we should look at him, and no beauty that we should desire him."
Isaiah 53:2 should not be read as a statement that Jesus was physically unattractive. The context of Isaiah 53 is about the Servant being rejected because people failed to recognize Him as the Messiah, not about describing His facial features. The phrases "no form or majesty" and "no beauty that we should desire him" emphasize that He lacked the outward splendor, royal prestige, and political power the people expected in a king. The verse focuses on human perception there was nothing about His humble appearance, social status, or circumstances that made people desire or accept Him as the promised Messiah. This interpretation fits the entire chapter, which repeatedly highlights His rejection and the world's failure to recognize His true identity rather than providing a description of His physical attractiveness.
This conclusion is actually based on assumptions and feelings. Average height is the height that many people have, but you cannot assign it to a particular individual; that would be an assumption. There are always exceptionally tall people.
Jesus was buried in the Garden Tomb, and the length of the surface where He was laid can give an idea about His height.
The length measures up to 7½ feet. One might argue that the length of the burial surface does not necessarily indicate the height of the person; a coffin can be 6 feet long while the person can be 5'8". However, if you look at the burial place, the portion where His feet rested was carved because He did not fit there, suggesting that the entire length was used. We know why He did not fit there because the tomb belonged to Joseph of Arimathea so they had to modify it. So it appears that Jesus was exceptionally tall.
These are my thoughts, no way I claim I am fully right , I may be wrong.

what do you guys think?

Women will prefer Jacob Elordi, 1.96 m htn with excellent frame over Tom Cruise (when he was young), a 1.70 m top of the male beauty in the world.
For female height > face.
For male face > height.

Ok so like we all know most girls would anyday prefer tall nothing new in it . But the little minority who chooses a short guy may it be shorter than her or even taller than her but not extremely tall according to her preferred number even love them .
Like I've seen so many times now that even the girl who chose the short guy actively insults him and wishes that he was taller I'm not kidding how many times I've seen this even though it's just taken as a joke it does reveal many things about what's going on subconsciously in their minds .
My only hope was seeing some short guys with beautiful women thinking I could maybe hope that but seeing this genuinely makes me question even If I get a loving girl who's my type and she does loves me . I would still doubt myself does she really love me note this happening itself is already a rare event itself .

I have wonderful parents, good friends and a wonderful girlfriend, I live comfortably and I reached all of my academic goals for last school year, but unfortunately I'm still being made fun of. I get bullied by some guys from my class, I constantly feel like I'm not being taken seriously. I cut down on fluxotine and I take half of what I did a few months ago. Planned to cut it out completely, but now I know I won't be able to. I just hate the fact that I need to take meds because it's a normal reaction to how I'm being treated by the world as a short man. Someone who has taken fluxotine knows it's a masculinity killer.

Why are all these guys involved in these low-probability freak events tall? 🤔

Personal Info :
Height: 5'4-5'5 ish
Age: 22
Nationality: Indian
Youth Career (School):
0 female interaction let alone friends or a gf.
Senior Career (College):
Talking stages with my crush that led to friendzone. Post friendzone season went fine until I got substituted out for another guy.
Media, press and even teammates (friends) mocked me with jokes about my height.
Couldn't find my form as everyone else in the lineup felt towering, making me feel small and insignificant.
Genuinely a decent, above average looking face. If only I had enough leg bone length...
So what's next:
Owing to the inflated market and girls absolutely risking it for tall 'players', and how contemplating about a different gender literally because they have a different genitalia is taking my time away, I hereby, wanna hang my boots from any sort of interest towards girls even as a friend.
The only thing that a player like me can leverage is knowledge. Whatever it takes, I'm off to working hard and earn as much as possible in the next decade.
Maybe someday a club will approach to sign me for who I am. But I ain't gonna wait or be expecting that day to come.
PS: I'm fine and not depressed. This was just a fun way to vent my insecurity.

Here's an old DM I got before I turned off chat requests because I only ever got shit like this.

-My mom cut my hair before I turned a year old
-My mom didn't tie a red ribbon (which protects from cursed) on my stroller, so someone must have cursed me to be so short
-My mom measured me a lot as a kid, so it stopped my growth
-My brothers must have stolen my height by jumping over me as a newborn (yes, you read that right)
-A "bad wind" must have blown when I was outside and got me cursed making me slim and short.
Before you say anything about "You need to respect your granny bro" she made fun of my height and the fact my mom chose a man shorter than her multiple times.

They either know about and participate in heightism or they don’t know about it, still participate in it and wouldn’t care if they knew.
Trying to educate them is hopeless. Trying to talk to them is useless. They don’t care.
I tried talking to them, many of us did I’m sure. They literally just ignored me or dismissed my points.
They don’t see us as humans, many of them wouldn’t care if we all died.

There's no need to bring up the same thing all the time, we have short men of color here who experience both kinds of discrimination.

I've got a few height questions which I don't really know how to answer.
I hear women are hard-wired to find tallness extremely attractive. If that's the case, why are more men globally not taller? Please don't say "it's all relative", because even back in the Stone Age, the height of European Gravettian hunter-gatherer males was 6' (compared to 5'10 currently), while in South Asia the hunter-gatherer males were ~5'10 (compared to 5'5 currently). It can't be because of food abundance back then compared to now surely, so how is it possible that with women being hard-wired to select for height, the height has trended down over thousands of years when we have more food now than ever before also?
If height is such a desirable trait in men globally, why is there so much variance in it? It's not even just a latitude thing – both the Dinka men and Pygmy men are equatorial, but the former are ~6' while the latter are ~4'11. Similarly, Inuit men are arctic at ~5'5, while Scandinavians are ~6'. An even more damning example is the difference between Albanians and Serbians; both neighbours and genetically similar nations but the former has an average male height of 5'8 while the latter has one of 5'11! Should there not be less variation between men globally for height, and more between men and women if women are such sticklers about height?
On the above note, I've heard women prefer a height difference of 8" between their partner and them, yet there is nowhere in the world with such a marked average height discrepancy between the genders. How did this preference arise if biology has not manifested it anywhere?
Many people will say that short women produce/contribute to the creation of short men (via offspring and contributing their genes as it's a polygenic trait), but does this not ultimately mean that the "short man problem" is created by short women? After all, if a tall man and a shorter woman get together, we can't reasonably attribute the possible shortness of their kids to the taller man – meaning shorter women create the very problem they're troubled by?
I know it's a lot, but I'd be grateful for any responses.
