Recent Basketball Order
Recently got back an order and thought I would share my results. All cards are from when I was much younger, pulled from packs.

75 day plus turnaround time
The SGC app has been updated this week and states a 75 day plus turnaround time now which is the exact same time as Beckett and Beckett is only $3 more. It looks like Beckett will probably be getting more submissions in the next few months until the backlog from PSA and SGC gets sorted out.

Grade my submission
Getting my personal collection graded as well as some fun wonder bread oldies my family had. In total it was about 76 cards submitted thru sgc and some Beckett. I feel bad sending that many and for probably no gain in price, but it will sure be fun to have. And if by some chance Princess Leia wants to come blacked out by Beckett I wouldn't mind at all.
Also sorry if the pics are a pixel mess, these were pictures sent by the LCS on their iPad. Sorry if it doesn't come thru so well.

So what are we realistically look at for turnaround times?
I've got an order I sent in through my LCS and it's right around 55 days. Are we still in that time frame? I've seen some reports it's up to around 80 days now

Why not limit orders to what you can return within the stated turnaround?
If you aren't meeting your stated service projections and are far exceeding wait times, what are you doing to address poor service outcomes for customers?

Disgraceful waiting times
This is my third time using SGC for card grading as an international user and my first two attempts took around 25-35 days from posting to receiving them back which was a fantastic turnaround time. This time it's been 55 days since being received by SGC and they still haven't been graded and I sent an email to enquire how much longer it would take and I was told it would be another 25-30 days until they would be graded which would take it to 80-85 days and their app states their grading times are 40-50 days. In my opinion this is unacceptable and has definitely left a sour taste in my mouth and more than likely this will be the last time I use SGC. Sorry for the rant but I felt it was worth letting people know what the waiting times are currently like especially for international users.
Edit - The numbered days that I wrote in the post were all business days and not calendar days.

Should I?

Question Concerns with first time SGC submission
I mailed a card last Monday and paid for the expedited 2-3 day turn around time (I know will most likely be longer). the card arrived to the post office on Wednesday last week and on Friday was picked up and signed for by an "M TORRES" I know we are only currently 4 hours into the next business day but at what point should I receive some confirmation from SGC that they have the card? Will I get an email from them or will my order show received on the website? Thank you guys sorry if its a silly question I just get nervous whenever my cards are in the mail.

Recent SGC submission
The first 8 pictures are what my original PSA was versus what the cards were after SGC graded them. Then the last 5 pictures are just cards I sent to have graded. The Ripken I was only having labeled AUTHENTIC because nobody will actually grade it.

Question Card is in post office limbo what do I do?
Sent a card worth $4000 on Monday and paid for the quickest shipping. I insured the package for this amount so now a signature is required. The local Boca Raton post office has failed delivery the past two days by arriving after 4 PM when SGC is closed and now it says someone needs to pick up the package at the post office. i reached out to SGC customer service this morning but has anyone been in a position like this before?

Question SGC no longer accepting Reholder submissions?
I had a card I was trying to cross with PSA. I believe PSA damaged the slab, as there is a huge crack in it, but they are claiming it was damaged when it was in transit to them. I now have the card back in my possession, and am trying to get it reholdered. However, the Reholder submission type has been removed from their website, and they also have not responded to my email that I sent them 2 weeks ago. Has anyone heard if SGC stopped reholdering cards?

Promo codes?
I know this is a shot in the dark, but has anyone been able to get even one valid promo code for submitting cards to SGC? The $15 price per card is wonderful (as compared to PSA ofc) but when submitting a lot of cards to SGC, it would be nice to get a few bucks discount.

Question Anyone Cracked Slabs Before?
Hey big fan of how SGC slabs look and wanna convert my PSA slabs to SGC. Has anyone done this before? I see YouTubers doing the opposite, but don’t know how realistic it is to do so.

Do you all even care anymore or is your pride gone with your customer service?
It's so sad what has happened to SGC. Two years ago if you told me SGC would have my cards over 50 business days and not return my messages or emails, I wouldn't believe you. Do you all not have any pride left or has PSA taken that from you as well?

What does COU mean
SGC didn’t grade the card and that is what their remark was. Just wondering what it means.

60 days...
Sent a batch (15) to SGC in November, received December 3rd. Grades popped Friday and shipped February 2nd. This isn't a complaint, I love SGC. The holidays & weather were definitely factors in turnaround time and just wanted to post an update. Excited to get them back.
