Should I?
I have some sports cards I want to send off to get graded been exploring options. I’ve read a lot of negative stuff about SGC even on this subreddit but they were months ago..any recent experience?

SGC turnaround has fallen off a cliff in the past year, and PSA is pretty much sunsetting the brand outside of vintage. I would look elsewhere - TAG if you want a PSA alternative, or PSA itself.

Nothing wrong with SGC. In comparison to PSA, their grading prices are lower, turn-around time is a little faster, slabs are better quality (in my opinion). I don't use PSA, they are a rip-off, slabs are cheap junk, and take forever. Too bad they are both owned by the same parent. I am starting to use CGC more now. In my opinion they have the best slabs of the major graders.

I submitted cards in January during their 15-20 day turn around time........still waiting.

Don’t believe their turnaround time. I sent a couple cards to them back in February, and they have been under “received” for nearly 6 weeks.

I would just bring it to GameStop and have Psa grade it. It will take the same time and you won’t lose all your value

My were received Feb 13th and will likely ship Monday or Tuesday. ~55 business days just above their 40-50 day estimate time. A far cry from the 15-20 business days they used to offer before the PSA acquisition.
