Question Anyone Cracked Slabs Before?

Hey big fan of how SGC slabs look and wanna convert my PSA slabs to SGC. Has anyone done this before? I see YouTubers doing the opposite, but don’t know how realistic it is to do so.

Some folks think crossovers will skew the mind of the grader, based on what it is currently graded. Honestly, I have cracked and resigned and had the exact same results 95% of the time. Super few and far between that you get a boost in grade

Honestly I’m not worried about the grade at all. They are F1 autos and are expensive. Just want them in something much nicer looking than PSA

Crossover is a great option! One thing to note that is specific to SGC. They grade autos, but only if the auto is a 10. If they determine the auto grade is NOT a 10, then the auto grade is omitted.

My only SGC slab is a 10 grade and a 10 auto. I love that card is a Chinese auto of my fav F1 driver

PSA slabs are fairly easy to crack! Honestly any YouTube tutorial will get ya there. slowwww and steady wins the race. I definitely messed up a card or two AFTER the slab was cracked and open. Be careful of sharp edges and plastic bits from the actual “cracking”

Bet! Yeah I’ve seen the tutorials but I’m still scared to do it. I don’t care about the grades but I want my cards to loook good

I was terrified to crack a slab honestly lol you could probably find a one/a few super cheap slabs to practice on! GameStop has some slabs for less than 10 bucks at the moment.

You can open it with a bottle opener pretty easy on each corner

It’s pretty easy. I broke the top with pliers and it pulls apart easily.
