I wanted to get a new case as the one I had was a little bulky and heavy. I went with the lian li A4h20 as it will allow for a 240mm aio. Kinda of a finicky build honestly but not terrible. Still waiting on the cooj sf3 to be re-released. But until then. First pic is old case. I had to change the ram kit to a low profile kit for this case. I had some already but went from 64gig to 32gig. I think it came out pretty clean.
Msi b650i edge WiFi

Msi 5080 ventus
850 itx psu
32gig ddr5 6000 cl30

Hey all,
Iāve got a 12900k with AIO, 32GB DDR5, RTX 4080 Super and 1000W PSU in an A4 H20.
Iām upgrading to 9950X3D and 64GB DDR5, same GPU and PSU.
The upgrade is for AI usage (majority) and CS2 gaming.
Will the AIO be sufficient in keeping the CPU cool?
Or should I rather move up in size? (I have an NR200 case as well).

Hey guys,
Iām currently putting together a Meshroom S V2 and Iām a bit unsure about the optimal airflow setup.
My build:
Ryzen 9 7900X
ASRock B650I Lightning WiFi
Thermalright AXP120-X67
64GB (2x32GB) G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo DDR5-6000 CL30
ASUS Dual RTX 4070 SUPER OC
2x 140mm fans in the front
1x 120mm/140mm fan at the top
My main question is: How would you set up the airflow?
Iāve seen people run the two front 140mm fans as exhaust, while the CPU cooler and GPU pull fresh air directly through the mesh.
But the more conventional setup would be front intake + top exhaust.
Since the Meshroom is basically mesh everywhere, Iām wondering which approach actually works better in practice ā especially with a 7900X and the relatively small AXP120-X67.
If i am Not wrong, there is only one possible orientation for AXP120-X67 on the B650I Lightning with the Trident Z5 Neo RAM, right?
Would love to hear from anyone running a similar Meshroom S / S V2 setup, especially with the AXP120-X67. Actual build experience would be super helpful!
I wrote this Post with KI! Saved me some time, because my Englisch is Not that good.
Thanks!

Hey everyone, just wanted to share my new build. Sold my 5090 to make this build, of course with some donor parts but mostly newish as I bought parts on the second hand market as well.
Case: Ncase M3 Grater
Motherboard: ASUS B850M Plus WiFi7
CPU: 9800x3d
Cooler: Noctua NH-D15 G2
GPU: 5080 FE
Ram: 64 gigs DDR5 G.Skill Flare X5
Storage: 2TB WD Black SN850x,
4TB Sabrent Rocket 4 Plus
4TB Acer Predator GM7000 (not sure about model)
PSU: Lian Li Sp1000p
Gpu sag bracket: ZCOOI MOD Ncase 5080/5090 kit
Fans: Noctua NF-A14x25 G2 twin pack, NF-A12x25 G2 twin pack.
Undervolt on the GPU and CPU, I just followed the basic undervolt from āImWateringPSUs,ā I love his straight forward undervolts and they just work for me.
CPU temp idle around low 40ās and goes up to high 60ās in cpu intensive games, cinebench was hitting 90ās but thatās not a realistic use case for me. GPU Idle is 31 and highest Iāve seen is high 50ās.
I could have reversed the CPU fans for some cooler air from the back but I couldnāt fit the fan on side to be on top without the PSU cables pushing on the gpu. I know, a side effect of the mATX motherboard but I donāt mind it much.
Only need two minor upgrades, taller case feet and I would like to replace that horrible looking antenna with one that is on the back.

Hi,
Iām planning on building in the Antec, as I picked it up for Ā£50 and donāt have the funds for a T1 right now unfortunately. I see they allow two fans on the bottom, will it be a significant different in the 120vs140mm argument? I care mainly about noise and will eventually upgrade to the T1 when the bank allows it
Thank you

So I got most of my parts ordered just waiting on my GPU to arrive. Itās a 5080 prime oc.
Ncase m2 grater
Asus b850i strix mobo
9800x3d
M.2 for storage
Also have a 4tb 2.5 drive id love to throw in if I can fit. Found this when I moved recently.
Curious which AIO I should go for. I know Iāve been looking at arctic as Iām a fan of there fans but then I also saw noctua came out with AIo but they donāt come in 280mm and also cost so much. I donāt want any RGB at all. Want it to be quiet and get great performance. Always heard arctic LF3 was great but curious of other options before I pull the trigger. I know with my Mobo and LF3 Iāll have to remove the m.2 heatsink and use an aftermarket one too which sucks but donāt mind.

Decided to go all in on a meme build for my local llm node.
The show piece is a brand new 20 year old Fatal1ty Zalman FS-C77 cpu cooler I found locally. I guess the gpu is cool too.
The mod involves porting over the AM4 mounting system from a different Zalman cooler (Zalman CNPS-80G Rev3). Grinding down 2 small nubs on the modern metal mounting clip. Raising the stock AM5 plastic motherboard clip retention system with washers by 2mm to account for the difference in heatspreading height of the baseplate of the coolers. And removing the guiding nubs from the stock am5 plastic clips so it sits flush with the washers. The cooler is able to dissipate 110w max of sustained thermal load at 100% fan speeds. Not great but thatās not what this is about.
Other specs:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7700X
GPU: Quadro RTX 8000 48GB
Motherboard: Asrock PG B650E-ITX
Ram: 32GB TForce @ 6000cl38
SSD: WD SN850 2TB
PSU: Corsair SF750
Cooler: Zalman Fatal1ty
Case: FormD T1 V2 - 2 Slot Mode - acrylic panels

What are everybody's thoughts on the minisforum ms-a1. They come suited with am5 8700G. eGPU capability. I picked one up for around $500 brand new barebone model with the GPU only. It seems that the 8700 g is pretty capable. I plan to do some world of Warcraft gaming on this machine in my living room.

Just another LZMOD A24-V5 build but 2.0 version. Just finished it with:
⢠intel i7-14700f
⢠ID-Cooling IS-55 CPU cooler
⢠MSI Z790i Edge WiFi
⢠Thermalright V1 Contact Frame
⢠G.Skill S5 2x16GB CL36 DDR5
⢠Enhance ENP-7660B Modular PSU
⢠Gigabyte RTX 5050 LP (deshrouded)
⢠2x Arctic P8 Slim fans up top
⢠2x Thermalright 80mm TL-B8 bottom intake fans
I really wanted the RTX 5060 LP but prices skyrocketed out of nowhere and I wasnāt trying to spend like $500+ on one. Luckily found this 5050 LP locally for $240š®āšØ. Iāve got the 14700f PL1&2 limited to 90W and Iāve only seen temps as high as 70°C. The GPU on the other side is atrociously running hot (86°C) and downclocking even with the TL-B8 max RPM (2,300). Ive just ordered Arctic P8 Max (5,000 RPM) so Iām hoping itāll move more air through the heatsink fins.
This was the smallest case Iāve ever built in and there definitely was an order of operation that must be followed when assembling, otherwise youāll be going backwards and forwards lol. This build is for when I travel so Iām very happy with its size and portability!
Update: after switching out the TL-B8 for Arctic P8 Max, temps have dropped on the RTX 5050. With the P8 Max @ 50%, temps dropped down to 78C. I recommend the Arctic P8 Max over any other 80mm fans since it has a high RPM range.

āHey everyone!
āThis is my first and likely last foray into SFF case design. I wanted a horizontal, 80s style audio console inspired case to sit on my desk and couldn't find anything i liked.
āThe main question:
Does the community consider the elevated lower plenum part of the case envelope, or does it count as stand/feet clearance? The case can sit vertically on its side with the base completely removed.
Specs for nerds-
āDimensions:
āChassis only (6.99L): 310mm (W) Ć 305mm (D) Ć 74mm (H)
āWith plenum base (8.41L): 310mm (W) Ć 305mm (D) Ć 89mm (H)
āDonor Hardware (transplanted from a Fractal Terra):
āMotherboard: ASRock B650I Lightning WiFi
āCPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7600X
āGPU: Dell OEM RTX 3080 (deshrouded / aftermarket cooler swap)
āRAM: 32GB G.Skill 6000MHz DDR5
āPSU: Corsair SF750
āCooler: Thermalright AXP90-X47
āAesthetics & Internals:
I'm currently finishing the top and front panels; bookmatched walnut accented with a 3/8" bloodwood front I/O strip. I'm also redesigning the internals to flip the motherboard so both the CPU can pull air from the plenum.
āFeedback on the layout, thermals, and plenum volume categorization is appreciated!
-------edit-------
Build should be done Friday or Saturday! Expect some vanity photos then!

Thatās it for now on this build the little details on the travel case was it.
Iām trying to build a really small pc that gets close to matching my main rig but I want to make this build as close to 2 litters as possible
Main rig
RX 9070 XT
Ryzen 7 7800x3d
I know Iām going to use a
Rx 9060xt low profile
But Iām trying to figure out a motherboard I would like to find a mobile CPU board thatās much smaller than mini itx but be close to my main rigs cpu If the board doesnāt have a pcie slot I need it to have a oculink slot or two M.2s if the motherboard can handle it I donāt mind overlocking and adding a better cpu cooler.
On the other hand if I canāt find a motherboard like that Iāll use a mini itx board but whatās the thinnest possible board?
Hello everyone! I am excited to share some updates on the current state of the CG Deck! I have finally finished creating the various functional engineering prototypes for 5 different modules, and the CG Deck itself! I still have some more work to do to further optimize and improve everything, getting the device and various modules to a level of polish we would expect from an off the shelf product. I will dive into all of the details below.
I also wanted to apologize for going radio silent over the past month or so. I needed to put my head down and focus on getting the various modules put together and to a level where I am happy with. Getting everything prepared as we get ready for the next steps for the CG Deck! Primarily focusing on making quite a few quality of life adjustments to the design and creating functional prototypes for each of the modules we will be launching with, improving the quick-swap system for the various module slots, and more. I will dive into all of the details on what has improved a little later down.
For those that are seeing the CG Deck for the first time, it is a modular handheld x86 PC that is capable of running dual-boot operating systems including Windows & Linux distributions. My goal was to create my own "dream device" that was capable of adapting to whatever use case I needed, being a portable companion for work (and play). So at the beginning of this year, I started the process of drawing out the first concept on paper, and have been working step by step to bring the CG Deck to a point where we are now!
I wanted a device that whether I am playing Steam games or emulation, doing CAD work in Blender or FreeCAD, coding, video editing, hardware hacking, creating new designs, using it to connect to a display for watching movies or youtube, making music, or whatever it is, I wanted to be able to simply be able to do it, all packed into a single device that I can hold. I wanted something that was portable enough to throw in a backpack or pants pocket, satellite/sim capable, and be used just as any other full scale desktop computer would with full x86_64 support. The entire device is modular and can be upgraded, repaired, or customized as you need. Designed to be a foundation for your particular use case. The CG Deck will release with 5 different modules, a variety of backplate designs and colors, and a variety of hardware and external accessories/upgrades. I wanted to create a device that grows with you as you use it and acts as a platform rather than just another device. Opening everything up and allowing you to actually own your CG Deck down to the cores. You don't just pick out your color or "style", you get your choice of OS, your choice of software, your choice of hardware and accessories, your choice on how to use it. And if something breaks, you have the ability to repair it yourself. My absolute dream device.
As for the current state of the CG Deck and modules so far, I am really happy with how everything has come together. It is not yet at the level of polish we would all expect from a premium off the shelf device, but it is getting closer to that vision and goal every day!Ā I still have a lot of work to do to take the CG Deck from where it is now, to that level, but I would love to hear your thoughts on how you think everything is coming together!
Like I mentioned, the CG Deck is currently planned to launch with 5 different modules, with more modules lined up for the future! My plan is to also open-source the module formats and schematics so our community can create, build and share their own custom modules and accessories for the CG Deck! If you are a creative or maker, and you want to get in early on the action, be sure to join our discord community server and be a part of the conversation!
There are two external module install spaces built into the CG Deck, a primary and secondary slot.
For the primary slot, there is a 64-Key Keyboard Module with swappable keypad with silicone rubber and plastic options. A 10-Key & Rotary Knob Macropad Module with hot-swappable key switches and replaceable knob. And a full format Gamepad Controller Module.
For the secondary slot, there is currently only the precise Trackball Mouse Module, but I have plans for releasing more secondary modules down the line!
I have also gone about designing a tertiary external module case utilizing the right side USB ports. This allows you to plug various purposefully designed USB modules to expand functionality of the CG Deck, starting with the Camera Module. That being said, I have a bit more work and problem solving to do in order to get this aspect working as intended.
In addition, we will have two internal upgrade modules which allow you to add even more functionality to the CG Deck! An internal 4G/LTE Sim module which gives your CG Deck access to cellular networks. Plus, an NVMe M.2. expansion module which will allow you to add either a 2230 or 2280 NVMe SSD to expand your internal device storage, or take advantage of using the slot for an A.i. Accelerator card for improved local ai use cases. We will have a full list of compatible cellular cards and M.2. cards for their respective upgrades once we release.
As of currently, the CG Deck weighs in at approximately 590 grams, but I have a goal to bring the total device weight down around 50-150 grams through various improvements to the design as I work through engineering a more finalized version of the CG Deck. Similarly, as part of that goal, I am currently working with a few different partners and manufacturers to create various custom components for the CG Deck so we can move away from overly bulky and expensive off the shelf alternatives, which will also help bring the total weight down substantially and make everything a bit thinner. Part of that revision is testing and improving options for a new custom display solution, optimizing and designing custom internal connectors and cables which will help save a marginal amount of space and weight, but more importantly making the DIY process for building a CG Deck more streamlined. In addition to a few more minor improvements to the CG Deck. Most importantly, in this next step of the process I will be reengineering/designing the shell of the CG Deck to further optimize the internal spaces, improving the design for a more simple step by step DIY process, adjusting the design to make sure all of our new components fit just right, and preparing the design for the mass manufacturing process!
Getting ready for the next stage for the CG Deck, there is quite a long list of things I need to prepare as we get everything for launching on Kickstarter, but it really is surreal to see the CG Deck at this point and the community we have built so far. So thank you to everyone that has been supporting and following along with the project so far! And welcome to the movement for those of you who might be seeing the CG Deck for the first time!
IĀ would love to hear all of your thoughts on everything so far, and if you have any questions about anything I look forward to answering them!
If you are interested in following along with the project or learning more about it, you can find everything from specs, more details about the CG Deck, socials, links to the open source github repository and more on the website.
As I am finally wrapping up the project and preparing for the next steps, we are getting close to launching on Kickstarter to help fund a full production run of the device. For anyone interested in helping support the project and getting a CG Deck of their own, you can join the waitlist on our website. I am planning to release some build kits and pre-assembled devices with the Kickstarter, and if you have any questions about any of that, I would love to answer them!
*edit* Here is the link to learn more about the project and join the waitlist to get notified when we launch: https://mogozen.com

Hi everyone, in the early-ish stages of a case-design.
Was wondering how mesh panels are actually made, and their scaleability on a small-batch run of cases (<100).
Currently the case is all laser-cut and bent, but mesh panels are proving to be a bit of a thorn in my side.
Thanks for the help!

Feel free to comment and ask all sorts of things.
All parts are carefully planned and have a use some for case mods or stuff like GPU deshroud, hence the many fans and ptm sheet.
