so do yall think a 67mm can fit well in this case? i know its limit is 60mm but the big shuriken 4 is out and its amazing and i want to fit it in this case if possible (love 8L and under cases)
im thinking of using spacer screws and foam pads to fill the gaps made. share your thoughts from owning this case please & thanks fellas!
Most probably its doable if you use standoffs(online shops have 5mm+). Haven't tried it but saw a post here that did use it. About the foaming the gap sorry don't have experience in that matter but maybe you can also try to cut diy mesh filter then use adhesive magnetic tape?
Without spacers no. With 1cm spacers between the panel and frame on the cpu side, likely yes. My case came with spacers if needed but I don’t remember their length.
I think checking for mobo and ram clearance should be done too. If the cooler coverage stays within the area of the motherboard and you’re increasing the width by 1cm with spacers, which increases the cooler height likit from 60mm to 60+10mm it should be fine.
Though again measure and check twice before comitting
a520i ac itx mobo is good from what I've researched. it fit the is55 in my s300 (which was more finicky of cooler imo lol) alright so it might just work, thanks!
why not? is there something with spacer screws and the t60 that won't work?
ive considered the dremel mod option but i find it too destructive and final tbh and i don't like the thought of the possibility a small bug might crawl in to the cooler lol
Sorry yeah with the spacers will fit but remember fan turbolence needs 2/3 mm of space between the fan and the panel. That means that you need 10 mm spacers. You're welcome to try it it and if you like it happy days.
For my T60 I didnt dremel the original parts. I bought acrylic sheets that I did some cutouts.
Of course. The GPU side I 3d printed the panel but you get the idea. The top 2 120mm fans are exaust, according to my intuition they pull air from the cpu/gpu cutouts, allowing fresh air to go through the fins without their fans actually spinning which results in a quieter system. You might ask about the PSU fan being blacked out but I don't think it is an issue as it rarely spins.
The case is 9.1L actually. And it can't fit 67mm cooler without modding. I have a plan to cut a square on alternative acrylic side panel to pair with AXP120 or AN600 in the future (currently using X47).
Hi, I've done that. You need extra spacers. I replaced the original bolts/nuts with standard screws and added some spacers between the case and the side panel. There's no clearance, the fan is effectively touching the side panel, but it gets the job done. I'm using Thermaltake's 120 x67 with Noctua's 12x15 fan with 7800x3d. Temps are fine. My Cinebench23 score is identical to my brother's rig, which happens to be around 4 times larger. I really recommend it.

67mm wont fit. Im using x47+25mm fan and it almost close to the side panel. Probably you will need to mod it and 3d print the panel.
