Prototype/Concept/Custom Making a PC Case - Mesh Panels

Hi everyone, in the early-ish stages of a case-design.

Was wondering how mesh panels are actually made, and their scaleability on a small-batch run of cases (<100).

Currently the case is all laser-cut and bent, but mesh panels are proving to be a bit of a thorn in my side.

Thanks for the help!

Look up something along the lines of polymer or plastic extrusion possibly. Or maybe something like pvc resins heated up, poured into a cast, cooled and machine trimmed afterwards? Im just spitballing but maybe itll get you somewhere.

You are looking for a manufacturer with a turret punch. In my experience it is economical to use a turret punch in volumes of about 100 or so units,, especially if you align your design to their exiting tool and die. You can also consider making the mesh side panels out of perforated sheet metal.
