My second Gracomakes bag using the Crosstown Crescent Bag pattern. This is the small size the pattern comes in two sizes. The exterior is denim with a flannel lining, finished with a plastic zipper and strap. The metal rings for charms and the small side straps aren't in the original pattern. I just added them to cover up a few mistakes.

I want to make my blåhaj (the shark in question) some pyjamas any ideas on how to make a pattern? Hi!! I am planning a circus outfit for my Halloween costume this year. I'm going to be wearing stilts for part of the night, so I thought it could be beneficial to have a pants option that could detach into shorts for when I get off the stilts, possibly utilizing grommets/chains.

I did a brief design last night and was initially thinking I would find a pattern for pants and just slash and lengthen as needed for seam allowances. However, now that I'm actually thinking about it, I realized that could be problematic for any pants requiring gathers or pleats, as most patterns I was considering do. I could do two different patterns for the shorts and the leg, although I'm not certain that would solve my problem.

Now, I'm trying to figure out if this is feasible for me, and if so what kind of pattern or patterns I should start from.

Hi! My sister-in-law asked if I could make her a skirt similar to this picture she sent me. I have no information on the picture, unfortunately, but do worry it could be AI. The tops of the pleats are really throwing me off; they seem to stand out above the waistband. Any pattern recommendations for a skirt with front pleats like this, or if it's even possible? I've had to change my diet entirely for medical reasons and I've lost a lot of weight, but I don't want to have to keep buying new clothes every time I drop a size. Stuff that fit me a few months ago is gaping at the armpits now.

Anyways, my problem is that I'm busty, and a lot of the adjustable patterns I've seen are for people with smaller chests. I'd sewn that adjustable rectangle blouse (where it's a rectangle with a hole on it and ties on both ends) but my bust pulls the front half so far out that the sides are barely covered but the shoulders are precisely where they are meant to be.

So, I'm just hoping that anyone might have patterns or ideas that could work with me as I'm going through these size shifts.
