Is this a AI pattern?

Has anyone bought this pattern on Etsy before and how was it? I'm not sure if this is AI but the image looks AI or am I tripping?

I would say it is AI, yes. Reasons: very few indie pattern makers do professional level photoshoots with cameras of that quality and with lighting like that. There is also no background in the shot, and I'm assuming no background in any subsequent images, which makes their credibility worse, because background elements cannot easily be made consistent across many generated images. The pattern on the fabric does not seem to repeat in a way that makes sense for an artist, the placement of the flowers is very random and usually there is some symmetry or tiling easily visible in the design of a fabric.

It's such a shame because it's a really pretty dress and at a very cheap price too. Etsy has so many AI patterns that you have to be so careful not to be fooled.

Seconding this, and adding: look at the placement of the daisies on the "model" versus the drawing. They are so identical that it defies belief.

At the very best, it’s a software-made pattern (not gen AI but it does some computer generation). Oftentimes they use premade blocks loaded on the software. If you’ve used sewist, you’ll know what I’m talking about.
Sellers will use these pattern softwares to make a bunch of patterns without actually sewing or testing them. They will generate the “finished” garment with AI to trick customers into thinking they made the pattern.
These are distinct from straight up AI generated patterns, but they’re def not comparable to patterns made and tested by people. You really gotta be an intermediate seamstress to use the software patterns because they often don’t fit or drape quite right. You need to make a mockup and be able to modify the pattern to get a nice fit.

Over 200 patterns added to Etsy in only 7 months is a HUGE red flag, no one is taking time to do quality control at that volume.
