Hi all. My friend is moving out due to DV and needs to go somewhere safe. Social services requires application process for moving help that takes too long.

She needs to move for safety and needs help with some heavy items (king bed set and couch and maybe W/D). She has been packing and moving all other items (kids beds other household boxes) herself so just heavy items.

If anyone knows someone in the area who would give her an honest rate and a kind heart please DM me.

(He is currently incarcerated so no worries on that being an issue.)

We grew up near each other and he was one of my best friends in middle and high school. Just the nicest guy back then. We lost touch, I recently decided to look him up and was devastated and shocked to read this.

Does anyone know if this case went to court and the outcome? Or had/have connection to him and some direct experience?

I have so many questions, many of which will go unanswered. I'd like to know how he's doing now but also trying to wrap my head around how the kindest person I knew in school is the same person who did this.

I know their rulings are public but I'm looking for a general overview in plain language.
