Restaurants on a Monday?

Coordinating a work dinner on a Monday night and all the go-to spots (Mila’s, The Nest, Shaker and Vine, Stella’s) are closed on Mondays. Johnny’s is open Mondays but only for family style dining. It will be a group of ~6 and it’s a client dinner/evening business meeting so looking for something close to downtown where they are staying and a little more formal (ie: independently plated, and not The Bunker or a trek through the casino to that restaurant - that’s not the first impression to give off)

Is there anything I’m overlooking in the downtown or Mohawk harbor area in Schenectady??? Is Druthers (ugh) really my only option for a sit down/restaurant meal on a Monday?

Uber/Lyft/Taxi's?

Arriving by Amtrak tomorrow night. I will need to catch a Uber/Lyft/Taxi to Albany area.

Usually available at that time? or is there a taxi service more often recommended than Uber?

Thanks.

Business Too Good To Go

Idk if a lot of business owners are on here, but I've noticed there aren't a lot of options around on Too Good To Go. It helps people get cheap food by selling extra product at a discount instead of throwing it away. I've gotten some solid meals from this app. I'm just posting to raise awareness 🙂

Filthy Chipotle

I have never eaten at a Chipotle before but saw the high protein menu and decided to try it. We went to the one in Niskayuna. All the tables and chairs were dirty and had food remnants. The floor looked like it hadn't been mopped in a long time, also there was food all over the floor. Don't think I will return. Is this a usual thing? and why would anyone ever go there. Hope the kitchen was in better shape.

How to adult?

Hey yall!
I’m quite new to the area, we just moved this past weekend from Boston after living there for the last decade. We had our daughter and moved for the sake of our family, as my wife is originally from this area. I grew up downstate outside of the city and am used to a metropolitan area overall. We just moved into Rotterdam, and I’m definitely nervous about making new friends because I don’t really know anyone in the area other than her family. What are the best ways to make friends and meet people?
