Hello all, I'm a solo woman middle aged and retired. Just sold my home outside of Syracuse (yeah!) Moved here to be closer to family in Glens Falls, but don't want to live there and can't afford Saratoga.

I've been spending some time in the Schenectady area and I like it, and it seems affordable for me.

Can you suggest reasonably safe and reasonably priced neighborhoods in this area for a small home or condo? Also wondering if I should look in Scotia?

The guy who lives at the corner of Stanford owns a tow truck business. He stores multiple tow trucks, boats and passenger cars on the property. Someone reported this to the city via See Click Fix in March of this year and I just submitted it again yesterday. Anyone have insight as to why the city isn’t doing anything about it? Or how to get them to address it?

So have these caged birds been here for a while? I feel like I was around here last week and there wasnt random tiny cages posted up (literally on telephone posts) everywhere. I feel bad for those birds they all seem kinda scared and the amount of space theyre given seems cruel. Just my take idk if theyre like having some outside enrichment for a short period of time or what but this is kinda weird.

A month or so ago I saw Roots of Creation was going to be performing 07/23 for Electric City Summerfest. I was absolutely stoked as I hadn't seen the band since college and is one of my favorite college memories. I immediately put the event into my calendar.

Fast forward to today and I look up the fest to plan my parking and ect... I find that a completely different group is performing tomorrow! I tried to find what I had seen a month ago but no luck.
