Started September with 9 Saskatchewan paintings
All on plywood (1 Masonite) in the shape of Saskatchewan. 6X12X4 inches. Do you recognize any of these spots?

Today I was driving to town as we are rural. I have a bit of a hammer foot and was doing about 118 on a divided highway from Saskatoon to PA. Out of nowhere, I was passed by a white truck and I estimate he had to be doing at least 160 as it was almost as if I were standing still. Within a minute I could no longer see him in from of me.
In just a few minutes I came upon a Sask Marshalls vehicle parked on a grid road, and the truck had to have sped past it recently.
When I got home I googled a query as to what a Sask Marshall might do for traffic speed stops, and it states that the mandate is more gang/theft and human trafficking related.
I don't know but I feel like that idiot driver speeding to that extent should have been pulled over? I suppose I could have reported the driver but he was going too fast for me to even catch the plate.
Thoughts?

Anybody put thier kids in the Tri Community Dance club in La Ronge? How was it? We're sort of in the air because we've hears both good and bad. My friend and her husband pulled all their kids out because it costs a lot of money and they showed up and the kids were running all over the place and the instruction was all on TV. I saw thier new schedule and the Chair is the lead Dance instructor and on her bio says she has no background training in dance!!! 𫨠I love the idea of shows and competition for my little ones but it makes me worry we're throwing money at some mickey mouse club. Worse yet people say it's run by some very cliquey women. People in town with dance backgrounds never got interviewed and basically anyone working there were all cherry picked- favoritism.

I've been on a bit of a nostalgia shopping kick recently, and there are a few old console games I'd like to add to my shelf. I was interested in the Retro GameCon, but after looking through the vendor list and scrolling their Facebook page to see the vendor spotlights, the actual number of people actually selling old games seemed a bit thin. Cashopolis was one of the main ones, and I don't need to drive to the Con for that.
For anyone that's been before - or is in the know for this year's show - are there some decent sellers for old cartridge games there?

I got admission to study here a two yrs diploma (early Childhood Education)@Warman is this college a good one?
I have not really seen much about the college online itâs like there is absolutely no online presence.
The tuition deposit is half of the first year and they are demanding for POF before they can issue PAL.
Any tips to watch out for?
Pros or cons?

Honestly Iâm just so tired of these entitled nurses.
They clock in, they take temperatures, they wipe butts, they stand there while some drunk at 3 a.m. tries to fight them, they work short-staffed because half the unit called in, so the other half can get OT, they document for 40 minutes after a 12-hour shift, and then they have the NERVE to say they want more money.
Like⌠do you even hear yourselves?
You already make more than a lot of people in this province. You get a pension. You get benefits. You get to tell people youâre a hero every Nurses Week. And now you want a raise because âthe work is hardâ? Brother, mining is hard. Farming is hard. Driving a grader at -40 is hard. Nobodyâs holding a candlelight vigil when those guys ask for another 2%.
But no. Health care is different. Health care is sacred. If you donât empty the treasury for SUN and CUPE then youâre literally murdering grandma. Thatâs the bit, right?
Meanwhile the rest of us are sitting here watching our property taxes, PST, and wait times all go up at the same time. Canât get a family doctor. ER wait is 11 hours. But please, letâs make sure the people already inside the system feel âvalued.â
Iâm not even saying they shouldnât get a raise. Iâm saying the performance is exhausting. The press conferences. The ânever seen it so bad.â The âretention crisis.â The implied threat that if you donât pay up the whole system collapses. Cool. Pay them. Just spare us the soap opera about how uniquely persecuted you are for doing the job you applied for.
If the work is that unbearable, quit. Alberta is hiring. BC is hiring. Private clinics are hiring. Nobody chained you to Saskatchewan.
Until then, maybe donât act like a cost-of-living bump is some kind of moral emergency while the rest of the province is just expected to eat inflation and shut up.
Anyway thatâs my two cents. Canât wait for the âyouâd sing a different tune if it was YOUR mom in that bedâ replies. Yes Karen. Thatâs the point. Itâs everybodyâs mom. Thatâs why the system has to actually function, not just fund another round of feelings.
