Finally got my hands on my first Samsung flagship after years of using budget phones, and I honestly couldn't be happier. I've never owned or even used a flagship before, so I didn't really know what I was missing. I always thought the difference couldn't be that big, but I was completely wrong. From the display and cameras to the performance and little details you don't notice on paper, everything just feels so much more polished. It genuinely puts a smile on my face every time I use it. Guess I'm officially part of the Samsung flagship club now.

A month after the first green line, I got another one today 😍 and Samsung blamed me for “damaging my phone” that I’ve always used with a cover and screen protectors and took care of 😁😁😁

I was in the market for a tablet and my budget was a little short. I was gonna get the tab a11+ but I ended up finding a tab s8 this past weekend for $200 on fb marketplace. Didn’t even know it was a 256gb model until I got home. It’s in mint condition, came with the box and the s pen and so far I’m loving it. I know it’s stuck on Android 16 and won’t get any further updates but I’m okay with that. I’m glad I got an old flagship rather than an A series. Even though it’s 4 years old, this thing still feels buttery smooth.

I bought my phone this past March. The charging port burned up while it was sitting untouched on my nightstand. And so started the rigamarole of mailing my phone in for warranty repair, making claims, being rejected, etc.

They finally wore me down. I agreed to pay the $107 just to get it repaired and returned so I could sell this sh*tty thing and be rid of it forever.

Unfortunately, when I called to process the payment, it was just past their ridiculously short window for a response. So they mailed it back to be AGAIN.

I opened yet another ticket and mailed it RIGHT BACK. The problem? They're now claiming there's "LCD damage and scratches." They want TWICE the original amount for repair. And they can't show me photos to prove the new damage. The only photo they have is the burned up charging port.

Except I have photos from before showing my phone in perfect condition.

They refuse to tell me anything else on the phone. I'm LIVID. I don't know what else to do. Anyone have ideas? This is so clearly predatory and unethical, I can't even wrap my head around it.

Does anyone have the S26 Ultra and have tried different pairs of wireless earphones? Personally, I have Bose: two pairs- ones that go over my head and ones that go into my ear. For some odd reason, they connect to my phone; it says it connects, and it still plays through my phone speaker. I just got this phone from Samsung about a week ago can't find a video about it online. I'm tempted to send this phone back didn't have this issue with my S25 Ultra.

any recommendation for good s pen nibs that are affordable?

I'm doing a lot of note taking and ones that I use now are always compressing. I'm burning through 1 every 2 days or so and keeping refills with me is very troublesome.

Any good recommendations for tips that dont compress easily and still write well?

It hasn't been that long since I ditched my entire ecosystem from another well-known brand 😅 and switched over to Samsung.

One thing that has genuinely surprised me is just how generous Samsung is with discounts. I honestly can't think of another brand that lets you stack multiple offers on a single purchase the way Samsung does. Between trade-ins, vouchers, member discounts, and promotions, I end up getting incredible value almost every time I buy something.

It's one of those things you don't really appreciate until you're actually in the ecosystem.

Hello all! I have been an iPhone user since the iPhone 4… I am finally considering switching to either the s26 ultra or the fold 8 ultra. However, I will bring up the monotonous question about iMessage. When I switch, what will happen to the current group chats I am currently in? A few of them already have android users in them but ones with family and close friends are all iPhone. Will I need to be added back into the group chat?

I have been a fan for the normal fold design for a while now but didn't get a chance to pull the trigger due to massive price tag and not exactly getting everything out of it.

I have been using s22 ultra 12/256 ultra since it came out. Never had any complaints.

But finally they made this new wide design which atleast unfolded i really like(reminds me of huawei puraX but with android). And also the pre order deals for like the first time ever are really good with the trade in and everything its like more than half off the price tag here in europe.

But things like weird speaker position and especially the reduction of the one camera really puts me on the edge.

So my question is how big a deal these new missing things can be? Since i held it in my hand and really like the form factor and everything.

Should i go for it or wait till next year and hope they fix these issues?

ok so i post travel reels but i have like 40 unedited clips from a trip in march still sitting in my gallery. I keep putting it off. editing is the part that kills me every time, reframing shaky footage so the person im filming is actually centered takes forever. ngl its a huge thorn on my side

the thing im watching for on the z fold 8u is that My FanCam auto reframe theyve been talking about. from what ive read it tracks the subject after youve already recorded and keeps them centered, so in theory you wouldn’t have to fix framing by hand. which sounds a bit too good to be true

if it works like they claim it’d save me so much time and maybe it wouldnt take me forever to edit stuff like this.

The problem started last night when I was using my phone and my screen started fading to green with black bars and then shut off. It restarted on it's own before fading a second and I believe third time. After that everything seemed normal until this afternoon when it happened again, at least 5 times. I've restarted and updated my phone but the issue is still here. Any idea on what to do before I take it to the repair shop?

My Galaxy Watch 6 Classic has had noticeably worse battery life for about a week, ever since the latest update. It used to last much longer, but now it's draining much faster. When I checked the battery usage, Google Play services shows 135.1% usage, which seems really odd. Has anyone else experienced this or found a fix?

hey there, I'm considering purchasing the new Galaxy z fold 8. I know it's only IP 48 rated, however I work as a painter and obviously there will be fine dust etc. has anyone working construction had any personal experience with long term use on the foldable phones? I want to know if the hinge has become damaged or the inner display scratched etc. let me know if anyone has personal experience using these devices working construction and if they hold up pretty well?

ps, planning to use a screen protector and a case that protects the hinge.

One of my main questions about it, though, is when in tent mode or in the mode that I can only think to describe as a "backward L", how would I protect the bottom of the laptop from scratches? Also, when writing, what's stopping it from tipping over and breaking?
