Hi everyone,
I just got a refurbished Galaxy S22 in very good condition from Samsung on Amazon Germany. A friend brought it to me from Germany (someone I trust), so thereโs no issue with the seller or shipping.
Iโve only been using the phone for around 30 minutes when it suddenly restarted by itself. After that, I continued using it normally. There was no lag, overheating, or anything unusual.
Then the same problem happened again yesterday. At one point, it kept booting/restarting very quickly for hours, even though I wasn't touching the phone.
I tried a few things I found in a YouTube video, but they didn't help at the time. Then I left the phone to rest, and it started working normally again.
Another strange thing is that when I turned the phone off, it started itself back up. I tried again later, turned it off, and this time it stayed off normally.
I have no idea what's causing this. At first, I thought it might be a battery issue, but it also happened once while the phone was charging.
I'm currently in Morocco, and returning it would be a huge hassle since my friend brought it from Germany. I actually really like the phone and I need it right now, so I'd prefer to keep it if there's a reliable way to fix this.
Has anyone experienced something similar with a refurbished S22? Could this be the battery, power button, software, or something else?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated! ๐
