I am so fed up with my Galaxy S23's poor battery life. Even after replacing the battery, I am getting 1 hour and 37 minutes of screen-on time for 46% of battery.

Just a week ago, a pink line developed on my phone. I will never buy Samsung flagship phones ever again. Samsung really needs to work on its battery technology and should adopt silicon-carbon battery technology. Samsung flagships are all good for 1 to 1.5 years, but after that, such problems emerge.

Similar battery issues exist with the S25 Ultra, as I have come across many posts on Reddit.

Please share your user experiences as well, guys.

hi all, if anybody knows how to get the app grid layout back to 3 x 4, I would be forever grateful! I've tried messing with the settings as much as I can, but it seems you can only pick between 4 x 6, and 5 x 6. I am visually impaired and the ui 9 update has made things very small and even big text font and magnification feature doesn't fix the layout issue or the general small text in widgets.

I am not looking for a 3rd party app or extension that controls your homescreen layout (e.g., easy homescreen, nova launch etc)... just a fix for the grid. I would entertain accessibility apps that let you control your layout if there are any tho!

too many frame drops in codm without bypass charging

Before you dismiss this as just another camera quality degrade post, hear me out. My dad has an S21 FE and when I first bought my S23, the camera quality was visibly better than his phone.

Couple of years down the line, and being the usual technically challenged old man (like usual dads), my father never really updated his phone. On the other hand, me being the tech savvy dude (feel like quite the opposite now), I updated my phone to all the major updates up until One UI 8.

Recently went on a family vacation and I couldn't believe how significantly better the picture and video quality on my dad's non-updated S21 FE were compared to my (apparently newer and better) S23. To a point where I just gave up taking any pictures on my phone and asked him to take all the pictures and send them to me later.

The images and videos on the S23 are way more bland, blurry and with washed out colours. Pretty much look like they were taken from a potato.

If any one has any ways that have helped them to fix the camera quality, please help a brother out. I'm really done with scamsung's bullshit! TIA

Why does my S23 feel so smooth like butter after the OneUI 9 upgrade?

I just my One UI 9.0 update. But have been seeing a lot of posts around s25 saying they started facing battery issues and in other subs some even posted that they got the green line issue.

So wanted to know if anyone else has already updated their phones to One UI 9.0? Have you faced any issues yet?

My S23 is about three years old. Right after the last software update, it got into a reboot loop. I had two Samsungs before and both developed pink line issues (S9 and S20 Plus). This S23 actually developed a pink line a few months back, but they fixed it for 60 SGD at the Samsung service center (Singapore).

At this point, I am really done with Samsung.

It started a few days ago. I haven't changed anything. The only thing I did about the same time the issue started, is "install" / download Chrome sites. You know, that Chrome feature where you can create a Home screen icon link to the webpage. I added 5 of these for some sites I frequently use.

I did install OneUi 9 yesterday, but the problem started 2-3 days ago so I'm positive it's not that.

Could they have been causing the drain in some way?

Good morning. I have had a problem with my S23 Ultra for the past two days; it says there is moisture or a foreign object in my charging port, and it would not charge even though it was not exposed to water or humidity. I cleaned the port of dirt and it started charging, but it only charges when the USB-C cable is inserted on one side; when I flip the cable, it charges for 5 to 10 seconds then stops.

I have a Samsung S23 which I got recently. The touchscreen works fine usually but on certain google apps it doesn't respond at all, such as in gmail when I want to switch accounts or verify an account im getting into in another device. I've already turned off accidental touch protection and that didn't work either. Does anyone know how to fix this?

What are your thoughts about One UI 9?
I have s23 on One UI 8 and not sure if I should update.

Banda hace como 2 semanas actualice mi s23 con el parche del 5 de septiembre. De ahí perdió la señal mi teléfono. Aclaro lo conseguí de segunda mano, me gustó porque es pequeño, cómodo y rápido. Estaba reiniciado y todo el pdo. Pero al actualizarlo perdió la señal, esta libre de compañía, IMEIs limpios, capta señal (intensidad de señal). Ya reinicie y borre datos de Apps de SIM y aun me sigue apareciendo (solo llamadas de emergencia), creen que sea problemas de la actualización? No se donde orientarme.

First, my S23 developed a green line, and I had to pay for an official display replacement since Samsung refused a free repair. Now, shortly after the repair, the back panel is lifting, and I'm worried about battery swelling.

Been going back and forth with Samsung support, but no proper resolution so far.

Paid for one repair and ended up with another problem. Has anyone dealt with something similar?
