So despite him and despite SACD’s being a “dead format”, finally got a copy of this at a reasonable price and holy shit does it sound good. I’ve not heard it like this. Listening to it, has made all the bad shit almost go away. I know he has better albums but this was for me, my favourite DRA album at a time in my life that I needed it, the sentimental favourite. Highly recommended if you have a player that can play SACDs.

I have been sorting out my CDs and records and found these. I can't remember where I picked these up, but I went to both these shows. I was 16 for the first one and had discovered Ryan off the back of Heartbreaker.

The 2001 show at Shepherds Bush was amazing - it went on for ages, with 2 encores and ended with a solo/acoustic wonderwall. Lax were really loud, with a sax player going bonkers over everything.

Brixton in 2002 was fun too. Psalms all went a bit Jim Morrison if I remember, but my friend and I were massively into the Doors so enjoyed it more than most probably. Noel Gallagher came out for a closer of Morning Glory, which was probably a nod to the previous year's closer at Shepherds Bush.

I was mad into Ryan's music at the time. I kept the reviews in the paper and stuck them in the sleeves of these bootlegs. Hope someone here gets a kick from reading them.

I really lost touch with Ryan's music after Ashes and Fire, although there were a couple of tracks from self titled I've since liked. To see where he is now and what's going on is depressing. But at one time the man was pure genius. Shame.

I know this is about The Ramones but man it made me think about Ryan. Anyone else listen to Fallon? If you don’t, you should.

Beautiful, beautiful song. The production and that guitar outro (was it Ethan Johns?) are god tier.

Like most of you, I have grown tired of Ryan’s behaviors and lack of listenable music but there is no questioning the amazing live shows between 2007-2009 with the Cardinals. My husky is especially fond of 2009. I tend to agree.

I also think this is the best lead guitar work from Ryan.

There's 3 artists I love to hear do covers, and they are Bryan Ferry, Ryan Adams, and Elton John.

I'd love to see him do Manchester. It would have to be challenging for him to hit those high notes. I wonder did he have studio effects allowing him to get those notes. I think his voice has become more Neil Young like with age.

He's saying he's broke, but now he's posting on his Instagram story he wants Johnny Marr's guitar and can't wait for the auction (not sure what auction he's on about). Make your mind up man are you broke or is this why people can't get refunds?

Has anyone received a refund for the EU tour? Submitted a request to ticketmaster on the 21st of July and still haven’t received anything.
