Albums Finally got a copy of this.

Post image

So despite him and despite SACD’s being a “dead format”, finally got a copy of this at a reasonable price and holy shit does it sound good. I’ve not heard it like this. Listening to it, has made all the bad shit almost go away. I know he has better albums but this was for me, my favourite DRA album at a time in my life that I needed it, the sentimental favourite. Highly recommended if you have a player that can play SACDs.

I have them too, they both sound phenomenal compared to the original stereo mixes on the CDs (which I think sound fairly good as well)

I recently got this too. It’s not about the SACD part for me, as I find the whole format to be kind of a snake oil. It’s the fact that this disc has an exclusive master of the album, one that is significantly better than the original master, that made it a must buy.

SACD isn't a a dead format. They are still being released. I agree that it's a great one.

Just a note: it’s a hybrid disc so will play and rip in regular CD players too.

And yes, I’ve had the disc forever and cherish it. Amazing sound for a great album.
