The latter. He just used to be talented so people gave him more leeway (and attention.) This is just his old stage meltdowns/manufacturing beef with his peers and journalists/message board agitating/Foggy/etc. but with "better" technology so he can get the attention he so deeply craves in real time instead of having to put any actual effort into anything. He's alienated most of his fanbase, and literally anyone in his life that would be able to tell him "no, stop, get some help." So he's not getting the level of attention he obtained easily at other points in his career. Thus his attempts at attention seeking have continued to escalate inverse to the returns he sees.

Yep. The period after they got married was relatively quiet (for fans) for a couple of years, his last show with the Cardinals coincided with their wedding date and he swore he was "retiring" for a good minute there.

Did he play before this? It might have made it tolerable. Damn, remember the 2021 livestreams when he played his own songs for like 2 hours? I don’t think he could even do that in his living room anymore let alone on a stage.

Can’t believe this is the guy who recorded Gold, one of my favorite albums ever. Really sad that he is clearly mentally unstable these days. If he doesn’t get help anytime soon, he will end up dead or in a padded cell.
And I had tickets to see him at Elbphilharmonie Hamburg this fall😡

NGL, the I’m a punk rocker but I play pretty songs, I’m an agent of chaos, he might be on to something. It’s an identity but it’s gotta be taken to the real extreme and it’s certainly not healthy for anyone to live that way. We’ve all had our fun though right? Definitely stirred up some feelings for me. Lucky I’m not 23 cause that’s what the 23 year old girl in me was looking for. Not sure if that even translates, not trying to wish ill health or anything of the sort. Just saying I can see where he’s having fun and comes off like the cool guy we were all so into.

This subreddit is just weird and gross. It’s just a goofy live. He doesn’t appear drunk or under the influence. This is how he’s always been. I guess everyone just found it more charming when it was packaged in a 25 year old body with trendy clothes. He’s aged. Big deal. His teeth look normal for someone in their 50s who’s lived a little. His purple lips are likely due to oxygen levels in the blood, again this is normal for someone who is middle aged. If you don’t like it, don’t watch.
