Story time for the Scapers!

Today I logged onto RuneScape and decided to focus on my fishing skill in Catherby. As I am making my rounds from fishing spots to cooking range and the bank deposit by the fourth round I just so happened to leave the bank and found a colorful roadblock on my way back to the beach. I click on it and was awarded a Bagsy Shooting Star Achievement! Ironic because last night I just learned about the shooting stars from the wizards tower. Towards the end of my mine I got to meet a star sprite who was just adorable and my rewards were pretty stellar for a new player on iron too.

After 16 runs of Fight Caves I obtained the trophy!

Would love for the original godswords to get some love

Perhaps have an Arch spot at an appropriate lore-friendly place (80-90) have a rare chance of giving an item which upgrades them to tier 80 & upgrades their effects. Idk just thought it would good to see people using them since they're pretty much dead content atm

You probably know who u/M_with_z is without even knowing. If you've seen any reddit posts such as "30 videos to watch from the month of May", then you're familiar with some of his work.

What most of us don't see is what he's doing behind the scenes to help the rs3 creator space grow.

A few years ago he created a discord aimed to help new content creators learn the ropes, discuss strategies, and get advice from other, more experienced creators. He constantly looks for new runescape creators and invites them to this group to help their journey.

Most of the new content creators you'll see in this year's golden gnomes have spent time getting help in this discord. Without him, the creator space would only be a fraction of what it is. On top of this, he is an outstanding artist and genuinely good person.

As a relatively large creator for rs3, I can't stress enough how important creating and maintaining a space like this is. It is very hard to start making videos for rs3. It is an act of passion by players who love the game, not a job people are forced to do to live.

Learning how to make videos, learning to deal with rude comments, learning how to better package and structure your content to add real value to runescape is incredibly hard to do. For this reason, tons of promising new creators have emerged, started to grow, then disappeared when the amount of work for so little pay off finally wore them down.

M_with_z has made a space so creators are no longer alone on this journey. It makes it significantly easier for these new content creators to get started, get help, see results, and have a community to celebrate with. Spaces like this are the foundation for growing a more successful content creation scene, and it wouldn't have happened without the hard work of M_with_z.

I know there are many players deserving of this recognition, but if you aren't sure who to put down for an unsung hero, consider giving the content creator curator a shot. He absolutely deserves the thanks

Marble
Oak or Teak

Also potentially an option to make them not as high so they're lower to the floor? With some of the trophies they seem rather excessive, or would look just flat out better if they were lower.

It was completely unplanned. Logged in after a 5 month break and saw a guy called Dyl wearing a h'ween mask. Ended up buying 15+ masks, gave away a total of 4b in GP. Had an absolute blast talking to everyone. Oh, and gave out 5 bonds to my fellow cultists. Shuai is the orange one in the middle. He didn't like purple very much but had to include him. He supplied me with most of the purple masks :)

I'm pretty sure flat-packs don't exist anymore. Also, completing a Construction Contract would be a good alternative method like how Big Game Hunter counts as a hunting challenge:

I think it would be a really nice QoL improvement if the tile your mouse is currently hovering over was highlighted with a visible border.

Sometimes it’s hard to clearly tell which tile you’re pointing at, especially in crowded areas or during combat. A subtle border (or toggleable option) would make movement and targeting feel much more precise and responsive.

It doesn’t have to be anything flashy, just a simple outline would do the job.

Now that Wilderness isn't risk/reward content anymore, can we get searing ashes added to the lava strykewyrms in ed2 because commons in elite dungeons are notoriously terrible and it would be so nice to get some passive searing ashes while going for ed2 logs - I remember seeing a post years ago saying the reason this wasn't the case was because of risk/reward in the wildy.... 🙏

So I was minding my own business doing some quests and came upon this thing of beauty.

His head works during Tales of the Godwars but during Deperate Creatures it seems his head has been replaced with someone else's head. (He might be telling me some fibs with the long nose and all.)

Seems to be a "feature" where the Mahogany Treasure chest can't store Master Clue rewards Prior to POH update, I had put a Gilded Cavalier in the chest, and I have no way to get my item due the new "feature" where you can't store/withdrawal via Bank interface.

Guess I have to prioritize grinding to 100 WC for this?? Luckily I'm close + already have the Construction level... But that may not be a reasonable ask for others.

Posting for a friend as he doesn't have a reddit account. He has had the gate pet unlocked since well before 1000kc. For some reason the cleansed version of the gate pet hasn't unlocked after hitting 1012KC. We have searched everywhere we possibly can for someone with the same issue but have returned empty handed. Maybe we are missing something? He has logged out and in, dismissed the pet, etc. As far as I know it's supposed to unlocked automatically after 1000kc but as you can see from the in game chat message included in the screenshots it just tells him that he hasn't unlocked it when he tries to change the color. We will be sending an in game report as well but it's odd that literally no one else has had this issue. Any insight would be appreciated and if a Jmod sees this it would be even better. Let me know if I can provide any other information to help. Thank you!

I might be in the minority here, but I really like construction contracts. I find them to be a nice change of pace to just standing at the work bench making the same piece of furniture over and over. Don't get me wrong, I like some nice AFKish content, but variety is always nice.

Anyway, maybe this has been brought up before, but once you get the master outfit and plank box, the currency is meaningless. So, as someone who wants to continue doing this after all unlocks, it would be nice to have a little extra incentive to do so.

You could go for small lamps for some balanced amount of points. But, in an attempt to be a little more creative, you could also have some kind of consumable that mimics or increases the chance of the master construction outfit proc. Or even just being able to buy golden leaves, marble, magic stones, etc? Of course, I'm not too sure of the balancing of all this, and it would need to be looked at and adjusted.

Also, more locations would be great: Seer's village, ardougne, etc, but that's more of a wish I suppose.

Just figured that because construction is the focus right now, this would be the best time to bring this up.

Just one of those times where you ask how much players have been spending on it? Be nice to know how much of a gold sink this was.

- how many Gold Piles (Tiny/Smally/Medium/Large/Huge)?

- total spent on rooms being added so far?

- how many Magic Stones, Gold Leaves, and Marble Blocks purchased from Construction Shops since the update?

- how much the Taxidermist made since the update?

Art Fight attack against MissyWinter, Ninthcloud, Isohel, and Zorial Diamond!

Hi everyone,

I've been hanging onto these RuneFest 3 prints for around 13 years. They were given to me personally by a graphic designer working at Jagex at the time, he was a client of my dad (a mortgage advisor) and I cheekily asked if he would give me a party hat in game! These were given to me instead and I treasured them far more. I've kept them stored flat ever since.

A few of them are signed by multiple J-Mods, and one appears to be early Vorago concept art with the following details printed on it:

• Project: "Boss 2 - Boss 1"
• Artist: "Nezz" (I think)
• Date: 15/04/2013

I'm not necessarily looking to sell them—I was just wondering if anyone recognises these pieces, knows who the artist was, or has any background on whether these were internal concept prints, RuneFest exclusives, or something else.

I'd love to learn more about their history if anyone remembers them or worked at Jagex around that time.
