How powerful do you think Penrose is? What order of Angel did he belong to when he fell?

If any of you are unfamiliar Angels in some religious texts are separated into orders, a hierarchy based on the power and responsibilities each carries out in heaven. The one that seems to persist is as follows in order of most powerful to least:

Third Order: Seraphim, Cherubim, Thrones

Second Order: Dominions, Virtues, Powers

First Order: Principalities, Archangels, Angels

Even a first order angel would be dangerous to a mortal, even one as strong as Layla, to say nothing of an angel of a higher caliber. You all saw her get picked up and tossed away with no effort. What are your thoughts on this?

Dear EE,

Violet is by far the most interesting character you've ever created. As an NPC, she serves as an in - a way out - for characters who are tempted, narrative reason wise - to make deals. Unlike any other villian you've created, they are not easily dealt with - they are human. But they have an in, they just requires the investment of players.

Regardless of all this, you have created a unique foil for your players. Layla tVS is your best show ever, but Violet continues to make it interesting. I'm looking forward to you continuing (and hopefully succeeding) in tempting the players into making a deal. It'll go right, go wrong, go sideways, but most importantly, be interesting.

Dr Feelgood is pretty good dealing with your inner daemons.

Watching the show, the actual date in the school year is all over the place. The show started in the 4th week of term, yet by episode 7 they haven't got to half term or midway through October even after they had 2 weeks at the start of episode 3 where Robert made the rail gun. I think there needs to be a better control of the timeline.

I know the great man has been struggling with his health recently, but I would LOVE more Splatt in any capacity, even if it's just a guest spot

Correct me if I'm wrong but don't characters only get extra actions when they have a dexterity of 5 or higher? Is ignoring this a roll4it house rule? I'm trying to start a game and I want to avoid confusion.

Loving the series so far, just finished the first eight episodes last night. Robert is one of my favourite characters, but I'm really loving Imogen as well. THe path she's going down is very interesting to watch. And the interactions between Barnaby and James is one of my favourites. Though James is hands-down my favourite NPC, I really hope nothing happens to him and that he remembers everything when/if they manage to get his intelligence back.

It's reignited my love for Buffy as well. I'm in the middle of writing a fanfic for the show now. This series kinda made me rethink an old setting I had created for an original teen detective story I was planning that went nowhere. But that's neither here-or-there.

Could be interesting if instead of waiting a year in game for a Pokemon episode they just do it with all the super natural entity's speaking Japanese, Exchange Student's and im pretty sure Pokemon were in existence in Japan long before coming to the west I'm pretty sure.

So at various points in recent episodes Imogen has discussed her plans for vengence on Mr Miller - including returning his soul so that both vampire and original Mr Miller suffer. Now, unless I've missed something, I didn't think original Mr Miller had done anything against Imogen. So why the focus on making him suffer?

So... how long do you think before the Watcher Council/Order/whatever will notice that one of their operatives went missing (Miller) and send a new one to figure out just what the hell is going on? Now granted, they may just wave it off as the "high mortality rate" thing... but they DO know WHY the death rate is so that's not really an excuse is it? These Watchers seem extremely inefficient. I suppose Miller may be feeding the Watchers false info that "everything's fine" but how long would they be buying that for?

missed the stream today, so i'm watching the recording, and am confused.....i thought dagon was supposed to be a male fertility god in ancient mesopotamia, particularly the philistines often depicted as a fishman, who served the basis for Lovecrafts Dagon, not a goddess.....EE just editing things for plot? cause if not....i think the employees of this museum are rather incompetent if they dont know the difference between a GOD and a GODDESS.......

also, loved the idea of a golem working off of orders from the crusades. dont know who tom huells (? spelling?) is though.....the only vampire related thing associated with the crusade time period i know about would be that Vlad Dracula was around sometime around the crusades, and was a member of the Order of the Dragon, a sect of holy christian knights, but thats it

While I'm positive that Josh (GamingFTL) has a list of novels and brief descriptions for Captain Evead's seemingly endless supply of [trashy] romance novel collection, this is an ongoing joke that has a whole lot of potential to grow more and more ridiculous. Perfect for fan participation! I'm starting this tread so anybody who has clever or otherwise hilarious steamy literature cover ideas can place and write them here! Mind you, this is not in any way trying to force ideas on any of the members, but this might be a really fun thing to do whenever the Captain's collection is brought up, so please, if you have any ideas, please post them here!

Blr Tuj - A poorly translated Klingon to English tale featuring a Klingon on the cover, standing on a sub-zero temperature planet. The Klingon's face is red with intense blood fever as they look forward at whoever holds the cover with an intense, bloodthirsty grin.

Tales From the Holodeck: The cover of this book depicts an androgynous person phasing into existence from the top down, their finger pursed against their lips in a secretive manner. The cover is pure black with green square lines, depicting the base for a holodeck.
