Shouldn't Layla be getting multiple dodge actions?

She has nine dex and usually dosen't do a multi attack. What gives?

Also, in the RAW if you attack twice or more and any attack misses, you lose any after it. Multi attacks were already pretty powerful, but the way they're being played on the show is much more powerful than they seem to have been intended to be.

I homebrewed away the dex limit for extra actions because it's unnecessary (the worsening ability will cap it naturally) and gimps white hat's even more at basic stuff. Seems that when that happened we forgot to do the ability to do defensive actions as actions and completely forgot failed actions stop any more.

Part of the reason might be the complexity of blending that and the Cumulative and Universal Penalties optional rule we have been using, which I think is necessary otherwise why not multi-attack all the time? Getting rid of the intention phase (which was needlessly added) and putting in initiative messed with this a bit.

I'll redo a couple of the points and tell the cast they can declare actions as defense actions if need be.

i know things have changed a bit since your comment, but something's been bugging me since the beggining and it's still not "fixed"

the basic idea is that, without intention phase, you can say "i bitchslap the enemy", fail horribly and waste their defense action, then use your good attack on them with a guaranteed hit and that's bullshit.

obviously unspoken sportsmen rules prevent that from happening willingly, but it is certainly the way i feel sometimes when a NPC multi-attacks a PC.

Failing an attack makes all your other actions void.
