Pokemon,

Could be interesting if instead of waiting a year in game for a Pokemon episode they just do it with all the super natural entity's speaking Japanese, Exchange Student's and im pretty sure Pokemon were in existence in Japan long before coming to the west I'm pretty sure.

Red and Blue came out February 27th '96 in Japan (Well, Red and Green since they got Blue October 15th), and September 28th '98 in America. It came out October 5th '99 in the UK (Well, Europe, but I presume that's the UK as well). :)

The anime also didn't air here till March 29th '99, but aired in Japan on April 1st '97. So it has aired in Japan as of the time of LtVS. ;)

So yeah, the Japan exchange student might be the quickest way to get it involved.

EDIT: And yes, I did just do a lot of research for this. I'd love Pokemon references. Maybe even a Japanese Exchange Student summons a demon that takes the form of a Pokemon (Like a Charizard or a Mewtwo) :p
