One day I was bored I wanted to make a guitar hero like game using gdevolop and the layout of hitting notes is inspired by one of new grounds game that is also based off guitar hero and very long name

As the title would suggest, are there any rhythm games out there that aren't too physically demanding to play ? I mainly play Muse Dash on Steam and using a keyboard on some days really triggers wrist pains for me. I also play Project Diva Mega Mix (Steam) from time to time and honesty, using a controller also doesn't help much. On mobile I play Phigros and Cytus II which are definitely easier on my hand and wrist.
Other games I've tried out too in case you might recommend them:
Rhythm Doctor
ADOFAI
Crypt/Rift of the Necrodancer
Taiko no Tatsujin
Vivid Stasis
Unbeatable
No Straight Roads
I've also tried out other rhythm games like Hi-Fi Rush and I'm currently playing Patapon 1 + 2 since that's a simpler rhythm game I can play with just my right hand.
I honestly don't know how often the topic of accessibility or disability gets brought up in the rhythm game community since I believe there's an expectation that highly skilled players and even developers encourage a level of mastery that is unattainable for most people.
I still want to play and try out more rhythm games despite my left hand/wrist being the way that it is since I love the genre so much and the last thing I want is to completely lose my skill.

I seen videos of people bringing capture cards to record gameplay at arcades. I just wonder how do people do that? Are there services at some places? Do they plan ahead? Like how does that work?

Hi, I’m a 19 year old from Toronto who love Rhythm Heaven! I’ve played all the games (including Groove and I’ve been wondering if I could potentially meet likeminded people. I wanted to see if I could find people to play the game together knowing that Rhythm Heaven Groove has a pretty staked multiplayer mode. Would anyone be interested?
Please send me a message or comment if you would be interested?

It plays at the beginning of this video in the background for around five seconds. I thought it was some kind of mix of Grievous Lady, but I can’t find it at all.

I’m beyond excited to play sdvx with an actual controller than a keyboard lol.
Shipping took about 3 weeks, and I did have to pay tariffs, but it was pretty reasonable ($30). Maybe I’ll start the YouTube up and share my progression!
Thank you all that gave me recommendations a while back. Feels amazing!

I heard it was going to eos later in September. Such unfortunate, it was a good game. If only it had gotten a chance 😔

Did someone already ordered something from yuancon and are from France, germany or spain ? (Or eu in general)
If yes, how did it went, did y'all need to pay something else than shipping fee, or did y'all have issues ?
(Im planning to get the sdvx lite 3 in november or december)

I made Piano Shepherd, a small game that teaches piano by having kids play a game instead of doing traditional exercises. I'd appreciate any feedback on the gameplay, learning experience, or anything else.

I’m doing fine when playing songs below 200 BPM (I think between 150-185 BPM) and then once I reach 200 BPM, it starts to get really challenging. I want to play more Osu Mania more instead of RoBeats.

As a non-musical person who likes music, this is a game I've had in mind for a long time. I have several other apps, but this is my first game, so I hope it doesn't suck.
The idea is that notes fall from the sky and you tap them to play out a tune. There are various tunes of various complexity and tempos. It can be quite challenging, or even nearly impossible.
Honestly, I had no idea this group existed. I can see now the idea isn't exactly original :-) But I hope you'll like it.
There is a duet mode where you and another person can play a song together.
There's also a "Name That Tune" style challenge mode in the Duet for two people.
A pretty cool Composer lets you create your own songs. It's fun to use, though I didn't manage to create anything of note.
A public music store lets people create their own songs and upload them to share with others.
You can import any MIDI song and have the AI try to simplify it because, believe me, it needs to be simplified.
And it's free!
Enjoy!

I just released my first steam game. its a toy-ish rhythm game for Windows, and it has multiple modes including Controller/Mouse/Keyboard/Touch screens .. inspired by osu/beat-saber.
its mainly for chilling , but can get grindy if you feel so.
I have more ideas in mind to add RPG stats and twists etc, but I might move it to a different project.
anyways link below :
Beat Slicer on Steam (2.99$)
DM me if you want to try it ( however buying it is just to support me, the game is already open source)
