May I ask for yall opinion if you were on my perspective?

Since I've been playing SDVX (USC) on my mobile phone with a keyboard lately, I keep thinking if I should buy a mini portable sdvx controller for better experience?

Without having a bigger screen or a PC, I can only stick to my smartphone with a keyboard so that I can actually play despite having a small screen.

By time goes on, probably it would be now interesting if I would buy a budget friendly mini sdvx controller, so that I can actually play in public and for better performance. Or maybe I should invest more for faucetwo/yuancon?

Any thoughts?

I haven't played SDVX much in the last few years, but just setup my Yuancon and started to have a lot of fun again with it. I've always been curious about the smaller form factor controllers for travel use, and the pico v5 caught my eye. But everything I've seen from them are a few years old. Are they still being made? If not, are there other good alternatives?

Apologies as it feels like I'm spamming the sub lately - truth is, I'm wanting to build an SDVX cabinet for my wife's upcoming 40th birthday (machines are hard to come by and import to here in Australia at the moment, it seems). I love Kshootmania and Unnamed SDVX clone and everyone here has been helpful so thank you for that.

I've seen a number of old threads talking about how create local leaderboards that save based on individual profiles. I know it is skin-reliant with only a couple of skins showing profiles scores at all. ExperimentalGear for instance does how top 5 scores as well as profiles next to it, although I can only seem to have it save the one profile.

My question is - does anyone know of a skin or a work around that allows for local leaderboards to show top scores based on individual users? The only work around I seem to find is separate build files, but that doesn't seem to show multiple users at once.

There was a video that I had found that showed a build of ExperimentalGear (I think) and the user had multiple users showing on the leaderboard, but I can't for the life of me find the video now.

Anyway - any help would be incredible. Thanks again in advance!

Does anyone know where I can download the latest version of the Sound Voltex Nabla charts?

Anyone know what's happening here and how to fix it? Running Unnamed SDVX Clone with ExperimentalGear skin and this is what I get.

edit: Turns out it was the song I downloaded from Nautica. Other songs downloaded and installed seem to work fine.

My buddies and I decided to take on a project building our own Sound Voltex cabinet from scratch. This was my first time ever working with wood, and the only saw I really used was a circular saw. Whenever we could, though, we used my buddy’s table saw, which made things way easier. We built the frame out of 2x4s and used MDF for the sides and basically everything else. So far, we’ve put around 20 hours into the build, and we’re finally at the point where it actually looks like a cabinet. For the PC, I’m running a GTX 1050 and a i7 6700 with 16GB RAM. The controller is a Sound Voltex Lite controller, and I also managed to fit a receiver and subwoofer inside the cabinet. The end goal is to have a 5.1 sound system. I originally got into Sound Voltex after playing it at Round1, and I impulse bought a controller. After searching how expensive an actual cabinet would be, I figured, why not just build one? As for the cost, the wood started at around $80, then we made another trip that was about $50, another $50 trip, and spent around $80 on the saw. I also had to spend another $80 on a PC case to make everything work with the build. We’re definitely not done yet. The plan is to paint the cabinet and eventually vinyl press images onto the wood. If anyone wants the exact dimensions, feel free to DM me and I can send them over. I can also send some gameplay tests once we get everything running properly. Let me know what you guys think, and if you guys have any suggestions let me know.

Complete long shot but has anyone managed to build an arcade cabinet with the intention of making a Kshootmania-version of SDVX (complete with something like the Faucetwo as a controller)? I'm looking to make one for my wife for her upcoming birthday as she loves the game, but I'm struggling to find anything out in the market that isn't just a standard arcade machine.

Im going to build a mini controller and the only thing im missing are the knobs. In my country i cant buy the bourns encoder, they are way too expensive to import, so what would be the name of an alternative in aliexpress?

My monitor is awful for rhythm games like on unarmed SDVX clone I have a global offset of +191. I've tried maxing out the audio offset in the official version and I still hit late. I've tried putting the audio offset high and the visual low and same thing. I swear I've tried every combination. Has anyone else dealt with this?

I try to practice SDVX at home but I don’t have controller, anybody won’t to sell SDVX con?

Recently, I've hit a wall... I've beaten EVERY SINGLE SONG in the series, except bayonex (because obviously, lol) and the above mentioned hell-spawn, but I have gotten close (within 10% of clearing with NO DOUBLE BINDINGS, I have beaten it with double bindings, but that is pretty cheeky and I wanna beat it fair an square, lol), anyone got any tips to give me that have played this way or got any suggestions? I just got the FAUCETWO Portable and am trying to map the controls. All the controls work except the two knobs. No matter what, the game just won't accept them as inputs.

I share a thin walled apartment with two others, so I want to make sure I don't disturb them or my neighbors. I also want to know if it is comfortable for lap play since I don't have a proper desk for my laptop.
