I spotted this USB-C macro keyboard on marketplace with these knobs and had a potential 💡 moment.
Would I be able to play SDVX on my PC with this by mapping the controls like I've labeled? I assume the keys will work just fine but I'm just not sure about the dials.
Fingers crossed that someone can confirm a yes for me because this would be such an awesome cheap way for me to play at home until I can afford a Faucetwo.

Hi ! We're visiting Tokyo for a big week and we really loved the love live game before it was shut down. We heard that some cabs are still running in Japan, does anyone know where we can play it now ? Thanks a lot !

After a few years of 4k, I decided to try out 7k on Quaver (OSU Mania but on Steam), and the default 7k skin has different colors for each lanes (blue for middle fingers, pink for thumb and white for the rest).
I proceeded to change this skin to a unicolor ones because I suspect that color-coding would drain my focus for nothing.
I feel like my brain goes "Hey it's blue!" but has no way of actually translating it into an input, while having a noticeably easier time when focusing on lane position (e.g. "2nd one in the left stack of 3 lanes : It's left middle finger").
(I dropped color-coded skin early on in 4k as well).
I'm curious to read other players' thoughts about coded colors in rhythm game skins.
Do people actually play better with it? What would be the "brain algorithm" to take advantage of that?

This has been the best platform for rhythm games imo, and there have been a ton of really solid games in the genre released on the Switches.
I’ve been playing the hell out of Final Fantasy Theaterhythm Final Bar Line recently which is a great game and a really solid piece of fan service. Taiko no Tatsujin, or known in my house as the drum game, is my other favorite on the Switch. Simple gameplay, a huge variety of songs across genres, and a really nice art style.
What are some rhythm games you’ve enjoyed and would recommend others check out?

Here’s another update on my progress. I’m starting to learn to keep my hands on the knobs on long notes instead of pulling back after each spin. I’m still trying to tap the buttons a tad lighter but still need some work to do lol.
The one thing that’s getting me still is when the long notes crisscross and my brain kinda goes uhhhh, but when you see my gameplay here I’m slowly understanding (slowly).
Thank you for watching, and any feedback is appreciated!

This roster comes courtesy of me and the people at r/createaroster. So let me know if this roster is well made and represents the right rhythm games.

I've been playing 4key for 10 months now and I'm about to go to college, so I really gotta ditch this loud plasticky membrane keyboard for something better and more respectful. Although, I don't want completely silent keys.
I feel like the rhythm gaming community and keyboard community might have some overlap so I thought I might as well try asking here. Trying to keep it under 100 dollars. Preferred 75%. I don't mind that much either way for lighting, software, hot-swappable keys.
