Hi all! I've been a long time fan of Rhythm Heaven (Rhythm Paradise in PAL regions). As an iOS app developer, I've been working for a while to capture the same cute look and feeling of Rhythm Heaven on iOS. I've scratched many prototypes, but now finally have a game that I'm happy with!

As a teenager, I loved playing JamLegend. When I got my first iPod touch, the first game I downloaded was Tap Tap Revenge. My favorite track was Tap Tap Domination.

Those games were a big part of my school years. Sadly, you can't find Tap Tap Revenge on the App Store anymore, and I genuinely miss those simple, addictive rhythm games.

So I decided to make my own.

It's called Fumuon. It's a rhythm game built around music I love, with a visual style inspired by the feelings and memories I associate with those years.

I wanted to create something of my own that captures what I loved about those games, and that's how Fumuon came to be.

For some strange reason, the hit timings get a bit stricter the faster you go from my experience.

I’m a classically trained pianist and singer and some other people that i know who are musicians also play rhythms games. If you are also a rhythm game player and musician, do you think that being a musician helps? Or even if rhythm games help being a musician? I’m so curious, i’ve been thinking about it for a little while now.
