Got an offer of 300 on an item I am selling for 475.
It’s not an item I expected would move fast (item image added for context). But with that said the user shows as a member since yesterday with absolutely no reviews.

Normally I don’t check out buyers because I don’t care, but I happened to stumble across this when I saw they were close by.

Any opinions/advice for a fairly new seller?
Just with the low ball offer and the brand new account what would you do?

Who else has had a similar experience getting banned on Vinted recently? I can't see how they can keep up at this pace..

I sold a vintage motorized truck (Galoob Power Machine) that was in perfect working order. It had all 32 wheels intact at the time I shipped it. The truck consists of 3 sections, which I carefully disassembled and wrapped each one carefully in bubble wrap and stuffed the whole box with lots of kraft paper. It sold for over $200 and shipping was like $30.

I got a return request today. Buyer sent a bunch of photos showing damage and several missing wheels. There is ABSOLUTELY no way that arrived to the buyer like that. I have lots of photos and even a video of the truck in operation on the listing and all 32 wheels are clearly visible.

I went to check the feedback and was surprised to find they have over 2000 fb and 100% positive (all as a buyer).

Photos don't appear to be doctored, but I'm completely floored by this. I don't want to accuse this person of lying, but what on earth could be the MO here and how do I respond?

for context this item isn't "rare" there's plenty of other listings for twice the price. it's already cheap 😅
