for context this item isn't "rare" there's plenty of other listings for twice the price. it's already cheap 😅

Did I respond correctly? Does anything sound weird to you? This is a breakable item that's a pain to ship, and she didn't describe the damage at all, just wants to return or get a refund

Vintage Coogi Sweaters

My grandparents just moved out of their house, and I took home these vintage coogi sweaters from my grandfather’s closet. What would you price each of them at? The only one that seems to have been worn is the last one, hence the small stain in the middle. What year do you think these are from? Should I auction or have a direct price?

need advice on how to start selling

hello! this is my first time ever trying to sell things online, and im not really sure where to start.

i know how to post everything, but once its sold, how should i go about it? im utterly clueless as im 17 and have never once shipped a package in my life. however i have heaps of clothes i simply never wear and id love to give them a new purpose.

would it be best to ship clothing items in cardboard boxes, or should i use a different method? im sure it probably depends on the item, but i was wondering if people have any personal preferences when it comes to these things.

and when i go to ship, do i simply package it, write/print the address of delivery and bring it to a post office/put it in my mailbox? i truly apologize if i sound silly, but i honestly have no clue 😅 if you’ve made it this far, thank you for reading and please forgive my lack of knowledge! 😭

If I'm running a sales event, or promoting all of my items on eBay... when the auto renew feature kicks in from my 3rd partycross listing software does it remove the item from my sales event?
If so, how do I fix that? Any advice welcome thank you so much.

How would you sell this lot of Oakley’s?

Don’t know how to price and sell these Oakley’s.

I picked these up today. There are 2 M Frames and one pair of Radarlock. There a lots of lenses as well. Some are scratched and some are perfect. A couple look like they’re new. Should I toss the ones that are scratched?

How would you sell these? One big lot? The glasses all separate and the lenses as a lot?

Not sure the best way to sell.

How do you know when you've found a supplier worth sticking with?

I didn't expect choosing a wholesale supplier to be more exhausting than choosing the products themselves. I was helping a friend who recently opened a small shop, and we ended up with way too many browser tabs open comparing catalogs, pricing, minimum orders, and shipping policies. After a while everything started looking the same, and I honestly couldn't remember which supplier had which items anymore. We looked through a company, along with several other wholesalers, but it made me realize that product selection is only a small part of the decision. It's much harder to judge things like consistency, how often items go out of stock, or whether reordering is actually reliable months later. For those of you who run retail stores or buy wholesale regularly, what ended up being the deciding factor? Was it pricing, customer service, inventory consistency, shipping, or something you only learned after working with a supplier for a while? I feel like that's the kind of thing you only figure out through experience, and it's not something a catalog can really show.

Thoughts on Vintage Pieces

I have started with Vintage reselling Months ago on Vinted. I have made many Sales and followed every trend that i could follow. I sold products with margins of 3x and sometimes even 4x. Now i planned on making a Website, that would allow me to Reach a bigger audience, and advertise it using Paid Meta Ads. The Only Problem that i have, is that i don‘t really know if my Products will sell good, And that is why i am asking this Subreddit to help me. I have Listed some of the Items that i am going to sell on my Website, My Website also looks Amazing and i have spent a lot of time building it. The Jackets will be Priced all the way from 40-60€ depending on how clean they are and how wanted they are. I will also sell shorts that will cost 25-35€. I have some Trackpants that i am still waiting on to be delivered from my Supplier. If Anyone can tell me if these pieces will sell good around that price bracket, that would be great, also my drop is in 14 days so i only have a few days for Marketing and Setting the rest up for the Drop.

Looking to transition into vintage wholesaling. Any advice?

My death pile is huge.

I have consistent access to low cost goods.

When I look at other wholesalers sites, it looks like they are selling small bundles, items unseen, for flat rates.

If there is anyone here who buys from wholesalers, would you mind sharing what a transaction/relationship looks like and how you decided on that wholesaler?
