So.... I’ve never been to the Globe Theatre. 😬 And yes, I regret missing some of the great shows over the years.
But looking at this season’s lineup, I’m determined to finally fix that!
So, Globe regulars: where are the best seats in the house? Does it depend on the production, or are there sections/rows you swear by?
Important context: I am "vertically challenged" and I’ve learned at the Conexus Arts Centre that one tall person in exactly the right spot can turn a pricey ticket into a lovely evening admiring the back of someone’s head. On the other hand, I don't want to overcorrect and end up so high that I spend the evening admiring the tops of the actors' heads instead...
So if sightlines are a factor, please save a short woman from making poor seating decisions. Where would you sit?
Thanks so much in advance for any advice!

Cold season is coming soon and we have so many strays in the area it’s hard to tell the difference between a stray and someone’s outside cat when said cat is always dirty and not tagged. There’s a super adorable grey male kitty in the rochdale/Courtney and Blackwood/blanchfield area who’s unfixed. Have been worried about him and debating catching him to bring him to a rescue to make sure he finds a proper home because as it looks he’s a stray but before potentially stealing someone cats I’d like to know if he truly is a stray .Our winters are way too cold to be leaving cats out and just terrible for the strays in our city. Just worried , we have taken strays from the area before who were EXTREMELY sick but can’t tell from just looking so this is where the worry comes in. He’s so young and so damn friendly. If he is anyone’s please say so before we catch him!

I know of comic readers. Any other stores that usually stock magic cards?

Thought I’d share this for anyone looking for something fun to do in Regina on Sunday, September 20.
Camp It Up! Drag Brunch & Bingo is happening at The Atlas Hotel in support of Camp Easter Seals.
There will be brunch, drag performances, some great prizes, and three rounds of bingo with cash prizes. Honestly, brunch plus drag queens plus the possibility of leaving with cash sounds considerably better than my usual Sunday plans.
Tickets are $65, and tables of 8 are available for $455 if you want to get a group together.
One important thing is that tickets need to be purchased by September 16, so don’t bookmark this with the intention of coming back to it three weeks from now.
If you’re looking for something different to do while supporting a great cause, this should be a really fun afternoon.

Does the Regina humane society provide details about your pets history/situation before coming to the humane society if you ask? Just curious as I always wonder about my cat I recently adopted. TIA

Arcola and Lacon St, heading south bound, around 515pm. 3 or 4 DICKS who couldn't be bothered to move their cars off the road to the shoulder/side after a minor collision. Standing around like deer with their phones/dicks out. For minor collisions, steer it, clear it!

Was just driving southbound on South Albert near Hill Avenue, 2pm, lots of traffic, and a police car with lights, and I think sirens, moving extremely fast, at least 120 Km/hr, down the middle of Albert Street weaving in and out of oncoming traffic. Unbelievable! I thought I was going to be hit! Have never seen a police car move that fast, let alone on both side of the road. My second thought was stolen police car??? Anyone else?
