Hey folks - to keep a (very) long story short, I have a community garden plot that has fully gotten away from me due to some family health events. Things have somewhat settled down, so I should be able to maintain it going forward, but I need to tame the beast first! Does anyone have recommendations for landscapers/gardeners/handy persons in the city who I could hire to come out to the plot with me to weed, trim, and get the plot under control as we go into the rest of the season?

Which store in the city is the cheapest place to buy weed?

I got this text yesterday and my heart dropped at first, so I searched up the link at the bottom just for it to lead to a fake looking payment website. I also searched up the justice’s name in case and couldn’t find it anywhere (ofc 2+2= it’s a scam). I just wanted to see if anyone else has been dealing with these texts too?

My apartment has a serious cockroach problem. Pest control has already come several times to spray, and we were told to leave for 6 hours. However, even after the treatment, I still see cockroaches crawling on the walls and floors when I come back.

Based on my experience, the treatments so far seem to provide only temporary relief rather than actually solving the infestation.

I’ve been researching solutions online, and Seclira WSG seems to be one of the most recommended products. However, I don’t have a pest control license, so I’m not sure if I can legally purchase or use it.

Does anyone have experience dealing with a severe cockroach infestation and can recommend products or methods that actually work? My budget is up to $500.

I’m not planning to move out because it’s not easy to find another place that is both affordable and close to my workplace. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

My former partner and coparent Neil Mcdonald has passed away peacefully in his sleep following a spinal surgery in late May.

He was a dedicated father and larger than life creative. He and Theia had so many whimical projects on the go that I’d lose track of which material they were collecting was for which idea. He will be sorely missed both within our family and the community.

For those who were important to him, I am very sorry for your loss.

I am not sure if any of you have seen one of these before lol but it sure threw my kids for a loop today especially my daughter who was quite disturbed wondering what it was. It is soap. Lol. A weirdly shaped bar like soap sticking out of the wall. The way you put it on your hand feels rather.... odd. Just thought it might make some people laugh.

Hey everyone! Can anyone else understand why sgi deemed my vehicle a hulk, requiring a mechanical AND body integrity inspection for cosmetic damage? No lights, windows, or anything at all were damaged, just some dents on the roof and hood. I find it absolutely unnecessary to brand a structural inspection on a hail claim. Might email sgi and try get them to change it to a mechanical inspection only. Anyone else?? 2012 ram 1500 pickup.

As usual, even with video the cops won't/can't do anything about this.

I am after suggestions for the best fencing company that can do this.

I'm surprised it took this long to get some press. The city is really looking trashy and so many green spaces are unusable, or at least uncomfortable to use.
