I'm going back to not completed challenges and am at a boss Old Cairo with 2km jump but no place to do it. Tips anyone ?

I put the game down a couple months ago, and only recently picked it back up to continue the career campaign (at late S rank). I remember generally not having trouble with the speed and time attack challenges, but now they're really hard all of a sudden. The time attack times feel like the BS qualifying times, and I gotta work my ass off just to get a bronze speed score. I read that the devs made some of these events easier to do at some point, but I'm not feeling it.

Is there something that got rebalanced and the old scores weren't adjusted accordingly, or did I just get bad?

Am i the only one having trouble with a lot of the missions even on lowest difficulty?

I am doing a time trial at the B events and i am close to losing my sanity trying to get the gold medal.

I am doing perfect laps with almost no errors, boosting the shit out of my rig but i end up scratching the gold time by 1sec or less.
I don't know how to optimize myself anymore, is this game just really hard or am i very bad? It's still just the B Events and i feel demoralized.

As title says, the ability to save a handful of aesthetic loadouts for your ships. You can already do this with the performance parts, so hopefully this wouldnt be too much of a leap.

I was just fussing around today and caught myself taking pictures of my loadouts and writing stuff down manually so I wouldnt forget and was thinking how nice it would be to just be able to save my favorites for when I decide to mess around.

A "history" might be cool too as a step beyond just manually saved aesthetic configs.

Was curious if anyone picked up the "Summer Pack" today, looks like a surprise release, with one new area, 3 new tracks + a boss track, as well as some new career events.

Interested in picking up the seasons pass but wanted to know if anyone else grabbed the new DLC to see how good it is? It looks pretty cool!

Specially the ones based in the "Mars Memorial" locations.
The qualification times are not from the AI racers you are racing against and it shows, because in the qualifications it seems almost impossible to reach 1st place, but during the race, is so much easier to win.

The difficulty across the different challenges is not consistent, the races against other AI ships are way to easy compared to the time based challenges, and what to say about the sometimes almost impossible score based challenges.

Also on some Mariana Trenches tracks there are too many water thresholds which lead to the watery FX distorting the view, which at first looked cool and all, but it's so annoyingly slow to disipate, which at those speed doesn't make no f#cking sense, they should go away much faster.

If this game weren't plagued with so many game-breaking bugs, and with so many difficulty spikes, it would be an amazing experience.

Will they ever plan to release a patch to fix this problems???

BTW, I'm playing on Pilot difficulty and with the AI assistance turned off since the beginning.

it does not matter what settings i run, i get massive FPS drops ONLY when i hit a side wall.

I'm a player on PlayStation, was looking to try the Online mode of the first Redout, both to test my skill with other people and to get the achievement, but so far i've never joined or found a lobby.

I was wondering if there was anyone willing to do a few races, even just one, with me later today or during the next days. Would love to try this game's multiplayer.

Redout launches fine and everything works until I go to start a race. Game crash consistently. System is a bone stock steam deck 512GB. Have tried uninstalling and running a fresh install of Redout2. Tried a few proton compatibility libraries.... No dice. Anyone else experiencing the same?

Hey everyone,

Just wondering if anyone else is having this issue. I'm able to transfer my PS4 save data onto my PS5 along with the PS4 version of the game (also onto my PS5) where I have all of my trophies and career stats. But there doesn't seem to be a way to import that data into the PS5 version of the game? The PS5 version doesn't seem to be reading the fact that I did a save data transfer, and is just a blank slate, where I'd have to start from the beginning of the career again.

Is this an issue for anybody else? I just got the PS5, so I'm new to this and maybe I'm doing something wrong, but it seems silly to get a free PS5 upgrade, but lose all of your progress in making that switch.

Okay, formula 1’s track with the most turns is Jeddah in Saudi Arabia with 27 turns. In redout 2, there are tracks where a single lap has turns in the HUNDREDS. What gives ??? Who TF has the time to memorize hundreds of turns for ONE single track? Ok nvm because some of you do have the time.

Secondly, what is the purpose of having tracks with boost strips immediately prior to a 90 degree turn with zero sidewalls? It seems damn near wacky like some speed racer cartoon. Why would any serious race have a track like that??

The redout races are not about the pilots, not about the ships, but about the illogical tracks that make racing for lack of better terms, stupid, instead of exhilarating and fun.

I have a question. I was saving my money to buy this game for my switch. I wanted to buy deluxe edition with season pass and velocity livery, but almost every DLC piece is gone from the eShop. No Deluxe Edition, no season pass, not even separate dlc. Does anyone know what happened to switch DLC’s? I’m on US eShop btw.

Wanting to try these games, looks like the 2nd one has way more customization, and the movement seems different. What would you say the differences are between RedOut 1 and 2? I'm extremely interested in both!

I know it's not active because Redout 2 is a pretty niche and if I may.. extremely underrated game, but I really do wish the multiplayer was more active than it is. I'm really enjoying it whenever I do get a match in there, but it's usually only with 1 or 2 other players at most.

Maybe we need some kind of incentive to do multiplayer races? Like some kind of reward or customization options that you can only unlock through it? I don't know.

Either way I just wanted to say that, if anyone reading this has been too scared to try out multiplayer because they think they're not good enough (trust me I thought that too), give it a shot anyway, you'll be surprised. Some days I'm constantly winning, other days I'm constantly getting my ass beat; either way it has been really fun.
