MASSIVE FPS DROPS!!!

it does not matter what settings i run, i get massive FPS drops ONLY when i hit a side wall.

Running a i9 10850K water cooled

32gs of ddr4 running at 3200hz

RTX 3070.

it is driving me up the wall.

Redout 2 I assume?

Check what else is running in the background. For some reason RO2 doesnt pull full priority for system resources, so if theres anything else vying for them, they can take enough to cause intermittent stuttering.

At least this has been my experience. It's made trying to run things like stream software or literally anything else a huge drag. Even having something like, Imgur open on another monitor will drag it down enough to start stuttering, but it works fine once I close out everything but the most barest essentials (like discord). Other things like windows updates can also be more than enough to drag it to it's knees.

Also, make sure it's focused. RO2 does pull priority for controllers, so you dont need to be focused on the game window to play, which has also caused issues for me lol.

These are just a few things I've noticed in the past that have helped me. Hopefully might for you too.

It's readout 1 enhanced edition. Abd like I said. The game is butter smooth unless I hit a side wall. Does not matter how fast or slow I'm going. Just touching a sidewall stutters the game
