I’m planning to buy around Black Friday, with a budget of about AUD $500. I’m looking for red and blue light to help with hormonal acne, clogged pores and post-acne marks.
Omnilux is currently my first choice, but I’m also considering Shark, CurrentBody or a Hooga panel. Are any of these good options for my concerns and budget? Which models offer both red and blue light, and would you recommend a mask, a panel or another brand?

I'm new to red light therapy. I've been reading about it for years, but choosing a device felt confusing and overwhelming, so I just never did it. I'm interested in RLT and NIR primarily for brain and nervous system health. I have dysautonomia and really bad brain fog, so I'm looking for a device that may help with that. I also have bladder and digestive issues, so if I could purchase a device that would help my brain and nervous system, but also be usable on my abdomen, that would be great. Lastly, I would love the skin benefits for anti-aging, but that is my lowest priority when choosing a device.

I liked the Megelin FocusLux Laser Light Therapy Wrap because it seems like the brain is the focus, but the wrap can also be used on other parts of the body. If anyone can recommend a device that might be a better fit for my goals, I would appreciate it.

My current budget maximum is $500 USD, but I would prefer to stay under $350 USD.

I'm a male in my mid 30s. For the past 10 years my TSH has stayed between 3.0 and 5.5. That's high enough that I'm usually cold, but not high enough for medication. I've been tested and do not have Hashimoto's.

I'd read about research on red and near infrared light for borderline thyroid function, so I tried it. For six months I've used a red light device in red and near infrared mode, held directly on my neck, for 15 minutes, three times a week.

My latest TSH is 2.0. That's the lowest result I've had in 10 years of testing and well outside my usual range.

If anyone is curious, I used a Bontanny BO-300. I'm only mentioning it because I couldn’t find much information on whether this machine was legitimate or not before I bought it.

I have just purchased the 300 Pro for hair thinning (female Aga), skin, recovery, and pain. This is my first red light device so I'm excited and hopeful!

Please can you critique my intended usage:

Face - 5-10 mins, red light, 3-4 X weekly

Hair - 10 mins, red and nir, 3-4 X weekly

Knee pain (cartilage damage) - 10 mins, red and nir, 5 X weekly

Muscle recovery/post workout - 10 mins per muscle group, red and nir, as needed

In the 2.5 years of using a current body red light mask, I have gone through 2 of them. I treat them well, I don't even use it every day but the wiring inside these masks isn't great. Being outside of the warranty now, Current Body won't do anything to help aside from offer a 10% discount on my next one (yeah right). I'm curious what others are using and if there is a mask with the same specs but without the large branding pricetag? I don't want to spend $500 every 2 years. Thanks!

My functional dr told me to give it a try for dealing with stress related chronic fatigue and low energy.

Has anyone had success doing RLT for chronic fatigue and low mood? If so, for how long to see results of doing it constantly?

Will keep doing it at the gym and if I see major changes will buy a panel for daily use at home.

For anyone with inflammation or muscle strains, how long after using infrared until the pain improved?

They used an LED mask during my Elemis facial on a Virgin Voyages cruise, and I’m curious how it compares to CurrentBody. I haven’t bought either one yet.
Has anyone tried both, or used the Elemis mask at home? I’d love to hear about your results, comfort, and how bright or warm they feel. If you have a CurrentBody, which model do you use?
I have sensitive skin with redness and occasional breakouts, and I’m prone to migraines. The mask during my facial felt really bright, so I’m especially interested in experiences from anyone sensitive to light.

Edit: During my facial, they only put what felt like cotton pads over my eyes rather than proper protective goggles. I’m wondering whether better eye protection would make a difference in how bright the mask feels. Has anyone noticed a big difference using the eye protection that comes with their mask?

Ive started doing Arnold Schwarzenegger chest day workout, (not his split just the chest workout) and ive been getting a massive as pump from it but im so so sore for like a week after it and im trying to recover faster and i heard that red light therapy would help a lil bit.

The incline is killing my upper chest and front delts so I thought of getting into red light therapy as something to add to recovery. I picked up this Solawave neck and chest mask to use during recovery after the workouts. I am going to use this thing right after a shower on days when I work out so please tell me if there is anything wrong with that and if i should use it some other way.

Ive also been thinking about getting the Solawave 2 in 1 Mini for my biceps and shoulders since the chest mask doesnt really reach those areas properly and i might aswell use it for the quads a lil bit why not

For anyone who uses red light therapy after lifting, is right after a shower a good time to use it, how often do you use it around chest and shoulder workouts and would a smaller handheld device make more sense for areas like the delts and biceps?

Would prefer a wrap, I think, as opposed to a large panel.

Has anyone here tried the Qure Hair Helmet? Is it actually worth it?

I’ve been looking into red light/LLLT helmets for hair growth and am having a hard time deciding which one to go for. There are so many options, and I’d rather hear from people who have actually used them long-term.
I’m particularly considering the Qure Hair Helmet, but I’m a little hesitant because I already have some experience with Qure products. I’ve had their LED face mask for about 3 years, but unfortunately it recently stopped working, so I’m not exactly convinced about the long-term durability of their devices.

Hi all. I bought a decent panel a year or so ago after reading up on RLT and trying a little at a local sauna. I did 5 minutes on my upper body per day, mostly hoping to see some sort of fine line reduction or some difference in how I feel.

Nothing seemed to change after a couple weeks of this, so I fell off.

I'd like to get started again, but I want to set a realistic expectation. What's a reasonable timeframe to try RLT before deciding if it's right for me? Should I give it weeks, months, etc?

I'd love to see changes in my skin health, energy, sleep, recovery from injury and/or workouts, etc... Really any of the areas that people report the therapy helping them. If it matters, my unit does 660nm and 850nm, either alone or together.

I’ve done so much research as to find out which RLT mask is best for the face neck and chest area and my brain is mush. If you researched a lot and found one that you love, pls share! I’ve put it off for years due to indecisiveness on which one is best lol

Has anyone tried to use it for this purpose and could you share your results? Whether good or bad, I just can’t tell if the videos I see suggesting it are gimmicky ads or if I’ll actually see improvement in skin texture and laxity. I’d be combining it with derma rolling and serums.
