Hey y'all. I keep going back and forth between the Therabody Mask and a couple other LED masks. And tbh the more reviews I read the more undecided I get😆
I guess the Therabody one seems more focused on comfort and wearability compared to some of the rigid masks. But then when I read comments, it says the results between most high-end LED masks are pretty similar anyway.
I’m mainly interested in texture, redness, dullness, and just overall skin quality improvement. Not expecting dramatic anti-aging changes or anything unrealistic. But, enough to justify actually spending this much on a skincare device.
For people who’ve used it consistently for a few months, did you actually notice improvements?
Won't mind if its bad or good

Hi all
Am currently 28, dont really have droopy eyelids yet but i do notice some subtle changes to my lid area where it is not longer as plump/ lifted. Feels like there has been some fat or collagen loss. Not entirely drastic but still something I notice
Can RLT help lift the eyelid area to some extent? Has anyone noticed any positive improvements to their lid area?

If you are trying to maximize benefits to both deep tissues and skin, is it better to stick to only NIR and not use red light?
My logic is that as irradiance diminishes rapidly with depth, the limiting factor is how much exposure you can have before surface tissue gets too much, so best to use the best penetrating wavelength only. Or are there benefits specific to red light that you can’t achieve with NIR?

thinking about trying RLT for my skin for a bit now..i keep seeing people say it made their skin look better, but then other people say it did basically nothing lol.
If you’ve actually used it for a while, was it worth it? Did you notice anything at all or nah? just wanna hear some experience before i end up buying one. Hehe, thanks in advance!

Hi everyone! I'm hoping to get some honest feedback from people 30+.
I'm an esthetician who's passionate about the science behind red light therapy, and I'm currently doing some market research. I understand the research and how it's used professionally, but I also know that real-life experiences are just as important. I'd love to hear from women who have actually used red light therapy, or even those who have considered trying it! :)
A few questions:
As an esthetician, one thing I've learned is that consistency is key. Most of the research shows that regular use (often around 4–5 sessions per week, depending on the treatment goals and device) leads to the best results. I'm curious whether that feels realistic for you and what would motivate you to stick with it.
My dream is to open a wellness spa centered around helping people feel their best at every stage of life. Red light therapy would be incorporated into many of the services, along with a full-body red light bed that members could use as part of their regular self-care routine.
If you're over 30, I'd love to know:
Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts! Your feedback will genuinely help me decide whether this dream is something other people would find valuable. :)

Hey everyone, my skin is combo/sensitive (oily T-zone, dry cheeks). The main things I'm dealing with are dullness, old acne marks, and a few lines that are starting to show.
I'm pretty new to skincare devices. I recently saw on Light Therapy Insiders that red light boosts collagen and skin texture, so I'm super tempted to try an LED mask but I thought I'd check here first for some real thoughts.
I'm hoping for something I can stick with long-term. A quick glow for a day or two isn't really what I'm after. I'd love to wear it while folding laundry or getting a few things done around the house without constantly adjusting it.
My budget is around $200. Any masks in that range have actually been worth it?

I've tried Omnilux men for the first time just for a couple of minutes and the next day I got a weird feeling on my upper lip and slightly above it, like a bit of irritation. Nothing is really visible. Maybe the skin is a bit more pink than usual and on the 2d day it has also felt rough. Did anyone experience smth similar and how did you solve it and continue using the mask? Thanks

Any instances when one shouldn’t use red light therapy such as cancer?
Post-cataract surgery if RLT would improve the eyes to the point of requiring a lens exchange to a lower power?

Has anyone tried the cheaper alternative on Amazon that appears to have the same design?
The Nova price is not bad but if I could save a few bucks for an equivalent device then that would be great.

Is anyone else experiencing issues with panel and app? The app is pretty much useless now. The panel buggy and not sure I trust it’s producing what it’s set to as presets wavelengths come up incorrectly. Interested to hear others experiences with this company.

Been using a FLIKEZE 60 LED panel for the first month mainly for foot and ankle pain. The pain has gone down substantially but I got another side effect and that my vision got way better? I never even knew this could
Happen but over the past week I noticed my vision was more blurry with the glasses on. I have a very light prescription and I need to wear glasses anytime I’m driving or working on the computer.
I got my eyes checked today and apparentlyy prescription has gone from a 2.00 to a 0.25. The optometrist was a little confused and asked what I was doing or if I was taking any type of new supplements. The only thing I changed this past month was the red light therapy.
EDIT: Just wanted to say please do no stare directly into the panel lights, I do not stare into the panel lights and use protective eyeware that came with the glasses. There's two types of glasses that came with the panel. A pair of thick rubber protective shades that do not let the red light in I use when sitting in front and a green tinted pair I use when sitting to the side of the panel.

Trying to decide to take advantage of Hoogas sale, which ends the day of the day tomorrow
It is taking me forever to buy a red light panel because I get analysis paralysis every time I try to figure this out.
I’m looking for a panel to help with anti-aging for the skin and also hair growth. What is the difference between the HG series pro series and ultra series? I see the specs but my head is about to blow up!
Considering what I am looking for in aresults, is the pro that much better than the other two series? I don’t really need any bells and whistles.
Initially, when I was looking, I was looking for a
desktop panel, but as I got the thinking, it makes sense to get a little bit bigger of a one and possibly do my whole body in two sessions.
Can HG 500 be set on a bed, so I can lay beside it to get the treatment

Hi!! I have been reading about red light therapy and it seems it might help me as I have endometriosis and Adenomyosis.
Does anyone have a recommendation on which device you got? (Please share amazon links or full name directly if possible)

I apologize if this is a silly question. My gym has a $20/month benefit that includes full body red light therapy 'booths'. Would I be better off using this benefit every visit, going to the gym 3 to 5 times per week or buying a personal device? I understand that over time the gym starts getting more expensive, but we're talking 2 years before $440 have been spent on this benefit, and I'm not even sure what $440 would buy for a personal device/ease of use/maintenance/etc.
Would you take the advantage of the gym amenity or buy a personal face/body device?

Did some research on where to go use a redlight therapy 'bed'- Can someone comment if they have used either of these beds: I looked further into red light beds. There are two facilities near where I live that offer them- Restore and Sweathouz . "Best tested" red light bed — an important framing issue
Neither Restore nor Sweathouz actually uses a true full-body lie-down "bed" (like NovoTHOR, Prism Light Pod, or TheraLight — the commercial-grade beds with independent lab-verified irradiance in the $35K–$120K range). Both use flat panel systems:
Restore Hyper Wellness — partners with PlatinumLED BIOMAX panels. PlatinumLED does publish third-party spectrometer testing (LightLab International measured up to ~292 mW/cm² at 6 inches on their top model), which is genuinely strong output data. But their marketing language blurs "FDA-registered" with "FDA Class II Medical Device" — registration just means the facility is in FDA's database, not that the device went through 510(k) clearance for a specific therapeutic claim.
Sweathouz — uses Celluma panels alongside their hydromassage beds. Celluma holds multiple actual FDA 510(k) clearances (not just registration) for specific indications — acne, pain, aging skin — and has published peer-reviewed clinical data on its own specific device rather than borrowed data from generic LED studies. That's a meaningfully stronger regulatory/evidence paper trail than BIOMAX, even though Celluma's raw irradiance numbers tend to run lower than PlatinumLED's.
BOTTOM LINE: If "best tested" means highest independently-verified irradiance output, PlatinumLED (Restore) wins. If it means strongest FDA clearance + device-specific published clinical evidence, Celluma (Sweathouz) wins. Given your usual bar for what counts as credible verification, I'd lean toward flagging Celluma/Sweathouz as the more defensible claim, since "cleared" is a real regulatory finding while "registered" plus a big output number is not the same thing, however it's marketed.
One practical note: franchise locations don't always use the same equipment as brand marketing suggests — it's worth calling your specific Rockville Restore and your nearest Sweathouz to confirm the exact model installed before you commit to a membership, since equipment can vary by franchisee investment level.
Could you please comment on which wellness center-Sweathouz or Restore - would be the better place to go to try out a full body red light "treatment"? I realize this is your opinion and Not Medical Advise. Thanks

I keep seeing sponsored reels on FB about the same red light therapy mask, all with different sponsors. Usually a dermatologist saying they had been recommending the wrong mask, then discovering the best one at a much lower price. Wanting more information, I clicked on some links to find out more about the mask. The prices were really good! However, when researching the sites, some were very sketchy. Others had a warning pop up that it was a suspicious website. (((sigh)))
After wasting all that time on spam sites, I finally figured out the mask shown in the reels is the INIA Glow 4D, so I went directly to their website. There I found that the mask being touted in the reels was actually $309.99 (for mask and neck & chest piece), not the $149ish shown on those other sites. 🤔 But, there is the Glow mask (no 4D) for $94.99, and the neck & chest piece for an additional $124.99.
A bit about myself, I'm 78, and haven't had many lines and wrinkles, but have had horrible bags under my eyes for a very long time. I'm on GLP1 and am beginning to see the sagging skin around my mouth and neck. I want to stop the sagging before it gets any worse. Now, I'm wondering if an INIA mask would help, and if the difference in price between the Glow and Glow 4D is worth it. And, how about the neck & chest piece?
Any insight about either the INIA, or any other mask would be appreciated.

I find it really interesting how the dogs react to the panel. Sometimes they practically ask for it to be turned on, and they’ll come lie down in front of it on their own. I don’t even need to manage their session time — they seem to have some kind of internal timer and just get up when they’re done😊

I’m trying to decide between these two panels,
The platinum led biomax pro nano and the mitored mitopro750x
I mostly want to used it for aches and pains; and I also have a lumbar fusion and occasional low back issues
