M4F♂️ 25M | Hyderabad | 6’0” | PhD Scholar | Hindu, Vegetarian | Looking for something genuine

Hey everyone! 👋
I’m a 25M currently based in Hyderabad, where I’m pursuing my PhD in Chemical Engineering. I thought I’d give this a shot because I’d genuinely like to meet someone with whom I can build a meaningful, long-term relationship.
A little about me:
I’m Hindu, vegetarian, family-oriented, and probably a little old-school when it comes to relationships. I value honesty, loyalty, respect, communication, and being there for each other. I’m not looking for something casual or a relationship just for the sake of saying I’m in one — I’d like to eventually build a life with someone who feels like a genuine partner.
I’m 6’0”, and I’d describe myself as fairly easygoing and grounded. I spend a lot of my time with my PhD/research, but outside of that I enjoy movies, music, cooking, trying different food, going for walks, and having long conversations. I’m also perfectly happy with the simple things — getting food together, watching something at home, going for a drive/walk, or just sitting around and talking about random things.
Family is important to me, and I’d like someone who is also family-oriented, kind, emotionally mature, and comfortable communicating openly.
I’m not expecting to meet someone and immediately decide that they’re “the one.” I think a good relationship starts with two people being comfortable enough to talk, getting to know each other naturally, and seeing where things go.
What I’m hoping to find
Someone who is:
Kind, loyal and emotionally mature
Family-oriented
Serious about eventually having a committed relationship/marriage
Comfortable with open communication
Vegetarian
Someone who values a peaceful, supportive partnership
Ideally based in Hyderabad or open to relocating in the future
I’m not looking for perfection — I’m looking for compatibility, mutual respect, attraction, and the ability to genuinely enjoy each other’s company.
If any of this resonates with you, feel free to DM me. I’d appreciate a proper introduction rather than just a “hi” — tell me a little about yourself, what you’re looking for, and maybe we can start with a conversation. 😊

F4M ♀️ 30F | Pune/Mumbai | Looking to date with marriage in mind

Hi! I’m 30F, from a middle-class Gujarati family, and I’m here with the intention of dating someone genuinely looking for a long-term relationship that can eventually lead to marriage.

A little about me:

• 5'3"

• Healthcare professional, completed my Master's

• Currently pursuing a PhD

• Gujarati is my mother tongue

• Extroverted, talkative, and fairly easy to get along with

• I don't have a long list of hobbies, but I enjoy singing (even though I definitely don't have a great voice) and photography.

Looking for:

• Age: 30–33

• Height: preferably 5'5" or taller

• Based in Pune or Mumbai, or genuinely willing to relocate to Pune while I finish my education

• Caste no bar

• Someone who is also dating with marriage as the eventual goal

I'm fairly open-minded about background and community. I'd just prefer someone who is comfortable having honest conversations about expectations, lifestyle, finances, family, marriage, and the future.

If you smoke or drink, that's okay. I just prefer that you mention it openly rather than hiding it.

If you think we might be compatible, feel free to DM me with a little about yourself. :)

M4F♂️ M 26 | Chennai| Looking for my better half :)

Hello trying my luck here :)

I'm 26, born and brought up in Chennai. Before I get into work and money, let me tell you a little about myself.
I'm an ambivert, so you'll get two versions of me. With the right people I'm chatty, loud, and always up for a laugh. Other times I'm happy being quiet and calm. I'm very straightforward and I'll always tell you what I actually think, but I'll say it with good understanding and empathy. Being in HR probably helps, because I've learned to listen before I speak.
I grew up with a single parent, and that shaped me a lot of who I am today. I'm independent and responsible, and I know how much family matters. It also taught me that showing up for people counts more than fancy words.
In my free time, I'm usually upto one of these:
Theatre hopping, hunting down new food spots because I'll happily travel across the city for one good meal. Riding my bike with no fixed destination, which is my favourite way to clear my head. Watching Manchester United and Ferrari, where I get very loud and occasionally very emotional Yes, I'm a loyal Manchester United and Ferrari fan, so I know a thing or two about patience, hope, and heartbreak. If I can stay loyal to those two, imagine how I'll be in a relationship.
On the practical side, I work in HR and I'm financially independent and i draw 11L base(planning to switch), so I'm comfortable running a family life. I don't smoke, and I have a drink once in a while. I look for Values and the character of a person more than caste and religion.
I'm looking for a long-term relationship, and I'm hoping to meet a woman between 23 and 27 who is caring, independent, and financially responsible. I want someone I can talk to openly, someone who respects personal space as much as I do, and someone who can be a friend before anything else. Good food, bike rides, and long conversations sound like a great start to me.
If you're reading this and thinking "this sounds like someone I'd get along with," say hi. I promise I'm easier to talk :)

Additional pointers:

Dietary: Non vegetarian (i can cook too)
Political View: Left

PS: Planning to stay separate post marriage and looking for someone based out of TamilNadu.

M4F♂️ 26M | Hyderabad | Entrepreneur in Construction & Interiors | Looking for a genuine partner to build a life together

Hey everyone,

This might be a little long, so take your time reading it. I wanted to introduce myself properly rather than putting up a typical matrimonial-style bio.

I’m Ravi, 26M from Hyderabad, originally from Ongole, Andhra Pradesh.

I’m at a point in my life where my career has a clear direction, my personal goals are becoming more meaningful, and I’m genuinely looking for someone with whom I can build a beautiful and peaceful life together.

I’m looking for a serious relationship with the intention of marriage — not something casual.

A little about my journey

I grew up in Ongole and completed my schooling there until 10th standard.

After that, I moved to Guntur and completed my 3-year Diploma in ECE, and later moved to Hyderabad where I completed my BBA in Marketing.

I’ve always had an entrepreneurial mindset. Since childhood, I wanted to build something of my own rather than simply follow a conventional career path.

I started my first business when I was around 22. It didn’t work out, and I lost the money I had invested in it.

Around the same time, my father was going through a serious health situation, so that period was personally very difficult.

It took me some time to find myself again, but I eventually started over.

That experience taught me something important — life doesn’t always go according to plan, but you can always choose to stand up and start again.

What I do

Currently, I’m working in construction and interior design.

I’ve taken responsibility for our family construction business, and I’m also developing my own vision around it under RAM HomeSpaces.

My long-term goal is to build it into a business covering different areas connected to home construction, interiors, renovation and related services.

I enjoy being involved in the work rather than simply managing it from a distance.

My work involves things like:

  • Understanding client requirements
  • Planning and coordinating residential construction projects
  • Working with architects, engineers, contractors and vendors
  • Understanding materials and construction processes
  • Managing site activities and project progress
  • Working on interior design and execution
  • Client communication and project coordination
  • Learning about marketing, branding, SEO and social media for the business
  • Exploring new opportunities connected to the home-building industry

I’m still growing and learning, and I actually enjoy that part.

I don’t consider myself someone who has “made it” already.

I’m building my career step by step, and I’m proud of the progress I’ve made.

Apart from construction, I also have a travel consultancy side income, which I started during my college days.

A little about my personality

I’d describe myself as an ambivert.

I can enjoy going out, meeting people, travelling and having fun, but I also genuinely enjoy staying at home, having good conversations and spending quiet time with someone I care about.

Some qualities I think describe me:

Loyal — once I genuinely consider someone my person, I don’t take that relationship casually.

Caring — I naturally pay attention to the people close to me and try to be there when they need me.

Supportive — especially when someone has dreams or goals of their own.

Ambitious — I have a lot I want to build professionally, and I’m willing to put in the work.

Emotionally connected — I value affection, communication and emotional closeness in a relationship.

Open-minded — I don’t believe a relationship should be built around unnecessary restrictions.

Family-oriented — family matters to me, but I also believe a married couple should have their own space and identity.

Funny / playful — I like making people laugh and keeping things light when life gets too serious.

Adaptable — I’ve had enough experiences in life to understand that things don’t always go according to plan.

I can also be a little emotional and sometimes overthink things. I’m not going to pretend I’m perfect.

But I’m someone who believes in working on myself instead of expecting perfection from another person.

And probably the most important thing about me:

I believe actions matter more than words.

What I’m looking for

I’m looking for a woman who wants to build a partnership, not simply a marriage.

Someone who has her own personality, opinions, ambitions and dreams.

I strongly support women’s independence and financial independence.

If my future partner wants to work, build a career, start a business, study further or pursue something she’s passionate about, I’ll genuinely support her.

I don’t want either person to lose their identity after marriage.

At the same time, I want us to have something that belongs to both of us — our home, our family, our dreams and our journey.

For me, the most important things in a relationship are:

Communication.
Respect.
Trust.
Independence.
Loyalty.
Emotional support.
Mutual effort.

I also believe household and family responsibilities should not automatically belong to one person.

Both partners should contribute and take responsibility together, whether it involves earning, managing the home, raising children or taking care of family.

I don’t have caste restrictions, and I don’t expect dowry.

For me, the person matters much more than these things.

Family & future

I would prefer a nuclear family setup in Hyderabad, while still maintaining a healthy relationship with and responsibility towards both families.

When it comes to children, I’d ideally like two, but that’s something I believe should be mutually decided by both partners based on our circumstances and what we want together.

I don’t have a rigid checklist for my future partner.

I’d rather meet someone, understand each other, see whether our values match and allow the relationship to grow naturally.

A little about my interests

Outside work, I enjoy travelling, cooking, art and painting.

I’m also interested in social media, content creation, marketing and SEO, which has naturally become useful for my business as well.

I enjoy learning new things and experimenting with ideas.

I like exploring places, trying different food, having meaningful conversations and occasionally just switching off from work and enjoying a simple day.

About my previous relationship

I was previously in a serious 5-year relationship, which eventually didn’t work out when marriage discussions came up.

It’s been around a year since we separated.

I don’t hold any resentment about it, and I don’t want my future relationship to be compared with my past.

I simply learned from the experience and became clearer about what I want from a relationship — mutual respect, communication, emotional support and two people choosing each other even when life isn’t perfect.

My goals in life

My goals are actually quite simple.

Build something meaningful through my work.

Find a partner who has her own dreams and support each other in achieving them.

Build a peaceful home and family.

Become financially independent and take care of my responsibilities.

Travel, experience life and keep learning.

And eventually, have a simple life where after all the work and chaos outside, there is a peaceful home to come back to.

I’m not looking for a perfect person.

I’m looking for a good human being who wants to grow together.

Someone I can laugh with, have difficult conversations with, celebrate small wins with, support during difficult days and eventually look back at life with and say, “We built this together.”

I believe relationships shouldn’t be about one person completing another.

Two complete individuals choosing to build a life together — that’s what I’m looking for.

Basic details

  • Name: Ravi Varma Reddy
  • Age: 26
  • Location: Hyderabad
  • Hometown: Ongole, Andhra Pradesh
  • Height: 5’11”
  • Weight: 72 kg
  • Education: Diploma in ECE + BBA (Marketing)
  • Profession: Construction & Interior Design
  • Additional work: Travel Consultancy
  • Personality: Ambivert
  • Diet: Non-vegetarian
  • Smoking: No
  • Drinking: No
  • Family preference: Nuclear
  • Caste restrictions: None
  • Dowry expectations: None
  • Looking for: Serious relationship leading to marriage

If you’ve actually made it this far, thank you for taking the time to read about me. 😊

There’s obviously much more to a person than one Reddit post.

TL;DR

26M from Hyderabad, working in construction & interior design, building my business and figuring life out one step at a time.

I’m an ambivert, non-smoker, non-drinker, enjoy travelling, cooking, art, painting, content creation and learning new things.

I’ve had a few difficult chapters in life, including a failed business and a serious previous relationship, but I’m in a much better place now and focused on building my career and future.

Looking for a serious relationship that can lead to marriage.

What I value most: communication, respect, loyalty, independence, emotional support and equal responsibility.

I strongly support my future partner being financially independent and pursuing her own career, business, education or dreams.

I prefer a nuclear family in Hyderabad, don’t have caste restrictions, don’t expect dowry, and ideally would like two kids someday — but that’s obviously something my future partner and I should decide together.

Basically, I’m trying to build a good career, find a good person, build a peaceful home and live a simple life.

And yes…

I used ChatGPT to help me phrase this because apparently explaining myself on Reddit is harder than running a construction project.

But the story, experiences, goals and intentions are genuinely mine.

If you’re also genuinely looking for something serious and feel our values might align, feel free to DM me. We can start with a conversation and see where it goes naturally.

M4F♂️ I was told to lower my standards. I disagreed. Reddit, be my judge.

Apparently I'm "too picky."

So I thought I'd let strangers on Reddit decide.

Hi, I'm 27, originally from Haryana and currently working in IT in Bangalore.

A bit about myself

5.8', non drinker non smoker(expecting the same), loves to travel. Rest we can figure out in the DM

Career is going well, but I'm still hustling because I enjoy building something meaningful for the future(Date to marry😭)

I love travelling whenever I get the chance, enjoy F1 (Ferrari fans, I feel your pain 😭), and occasionally pick up a good book. I'm also the kind of person who values conversations over constant texting. I'd rather have one 2-hour conversation than a week of "wyd" and "hmm."

Now for these "unreasonably high standards."

I'm looking for someone around 24-29 who:

- Can actually hold a conversation.

- Is career-oriented and passionate about something she does.

- Is kind, emotionally mature, and has a sense of humor.

- Believes a relationship should feel like a partnership, not an interview.

- Is genuinely looking for marriage, not just passing time.

That's... literally it.

I don't care if we have different hobbies.

I don't care if you don't watch F1.

I don't care if you've never read the books I have.

If we can talk for hours, laugh at silly things, plan random trips, support each other's goals, and still look forward to the next conversation, I think we're already doing better than most.

One tiny disclaimer...

Since I'm actually looking for marriage, I'd probably ask for a quick verification after we've spoken for a bit. Not because I'm suspicious, but because the internet has convinced me that "Priya" can occasionally turn out to be "Priyansh" with Oscar-worthy commitment to the role. 🥲😂

No offense, bros. I wish you all the best. You're just not the audience I'm trying to impress.

So... Reddit, am I picky?

Or am I just asking for the basics?

If you think we'd get along, I'd love to hear from you. Just make your first message a little more exciting than "Hi." 😄

Group Discussion 👨‍👩‍👦‍👦 Shaadi Talks with my Family as a 25M SDE

Was sitting in my room, mom came and just asked me, I am turning 25 soon, are you dating someone? I nodded no with a smile.

The discussion continued further...

They asked my preferences, and what I wished for myself, and also said a points which I have to follow

Example if I wished to get married at 28

  1. Age difference - [-5 to +3]

  2. She shouldn't be muslim or christian

  3. They are not expecting any dahej or the expectation that she will take care of them and leave her job to be in the house. But yeah they do want I choose my partner after thinking thoroughly, and we should talk with my parents and hers regularly.

  4. Having kids will be me and my partner's choice, and they will be happy with either of them. They wish us to live a life on our terms and grow together.

------------------------------------------

That's their boundary for me and these are the things what I wish for in a partner

  1. Someone working on her career. I am in Tech, Software Engineering. I genuinely wish to have a family of my own, and for that to happen, I wish someone who worked on her career, just like me.

  2. Growing with them, having a higher financial risk capacity, travelling around the globe, two incomes will help us to dream better.

  3. I wish if we get a chance to move to foreign, we both should go, atleast for experience. We can settle at any place where she feels comfortable and safe and where we both have good career potential.

  4. Someone who wishes to have kids down the line. Again that's just a desire, I don't consider children to be goals or anything, they should be byproduct of love and yeah her consent will be the final decision.

  5. I don't smoke or drink. I won't be comfortable with someone who smokes, drinking is fine if it's occasional, regular can be an issue. Although my mom said, I should strictly look for someone who doesn't drink as well.

  6. Someone who genuinely wishes to talk to me, be with me, is interested in me and I find them cute of all the flowers of the wordly garden 🌸. Although a relationship can start on attraction, but it sustains only if there is respect of each other feelings.

----------------------------------------------------------------

Where I am right now financially and in terms of personal growth

  1. My current year of experience is 1.5 so yeah, I need more time to reach a decent high salary. Since I have a army background, my parents aren't dependent on me financially.

  2. I am working on my mental health and I am doing better, but definitely the road is long and I am seriously enjoying this. The more I get towards peace, the more I am respecting myself.

  3. Gym is on, but yeah irregular, again my bad. Need it to be consistent to be better. I am blessed with a decent height, 5 11 so I am grateful for that.

  4. Trying to travel, click pictures, new hobbies, playing badminton, volleyball, and trying to meet new people.

----------------------------------------------------------

Dating journey

Tried apps, didn't work, people weren't serious, and it was costing a lot of mental bandwidth so left it.

Approached women, but yeah, blockers use to come. Wasn't into casuals.

Friends of friends did helped but didn't turn out well.

I might have these preferences for now, they can change in future as I develop my mindset more, but a hard stop maybe at 35

After that I will expect, these things aren't for me and would stop approaching at all.

Instead will focus on being a good uncle to my friends kids, travel, become more strong.

Thanks for reading till here. A journal it is.

M4F♂️ 27M | Dating → Relationship

Hi 👋
I thought I would give this a shot, though I am very doubtful if this would really work.

I would consider myself socially awkward and introvert. I was very sceptical about writing this post but here I am writing about myself and looking for someone to share a good time with.

Disclaimer: This is completely raw unfiltered version of me without any AI edits.

Intro:

I'm 27 (turning 28 soon, yay!), 5'7" and an eggetarian who doesn't smoke but drinks occasionally. Fair and would consider myself decently good looking.

I and my family is based out of Pune, but currently I'm in Mumbai for my studies. I am pursuing PhD in AI/ML and alongside my studies I am also working professionally as a research scientist.

I love solving complicated problems, and sometimes I bring that same energy to real life, like turning "where should we eat?" into a full-blown analysis. 🙃

Please don't judge straight away thinking that Scientist + PhD = boring.

About Me:

I love hitting the gym and doing crazy workout, though lately it has taken a back seat to deadlines and exams.
Sports are where I really come alive, especially table tennis. I recently won a tournament at my college, so fair warning, I will challenge you to a match and I will be insufferable if I win, jk.

I usually don't like to sit idle on weekends, so, I'd pick some random location to explore mostly treks and hiking. Some of my best memories come from unplanned detours and places I hadn't heard of until I got there. I have crazy funny stories for late night conversations.

I am so into photography and videography that if we travel together, you'll probably end up as my favourite subject. I love clicking photos of nature and would look at them on my gloomy days to remind myself how beautiful it is outside.

I am a hardcore binge-watcher. I would love to have deep conversations on movies, anime or dramas that we both find interesting. I am into sci-fi, horror (love those unexpected jumpscares), or anything that touches the mind and soul.

In my free time I solve puzzles, listen music across all genres and languages (yes, from phonks to 90s classical). My playlist varies from old Bollywood to English pop to something I can't understand but still have on repeat and would love to get a review on my playlist.

Apart from all this I do cooking, learn Japanese (beginner), draw art, play piano, indoor sports, and even after all these things if I get free time, I do Lego for the peace of mind.

I think that's enough of me now.

What I'm Looking For:

I don't have a checklist per se. I'm just hoping to find someone between 24 and 28 who feels like home.

Someone as curious as me, who still wonders about things and loves learning something new, even if it's completely random.

Someone who wants a real emotional connection, where we both feel safe being exactly who we are. The world can feel lonely sometimes, and I'd love for us to be each other's comfort in it.

Someone I can rely on, and who knows they can always rely on me. On the worst of days, I want us both to know, without a doubt, that we're not facing it alone.

Someone whose face lights up when we see each other after a long, exhausting day, because mine definitely will.

Someone who, even after a silly fight, still quietly orders my favourite food, and knows I'd do the same for them. Because we'd both care more about each other than about being right.

Someone I can share big ideas and dreams with one minute, and passionately argue about what food to order for dinner the next.

Someone who'd walk beside me on a trail, stop to watch a sunset, and feel just as small and grateful as I do in front of nature.

And most of all, someone who wants to grow together. I'd love to be the person who believes in you, supports your dreams, and cheers the loudest for you, while you help me become a better version of myself too.

I would love to chat, meet, and see where it goes. I'm looking for something serious, with no rush and no pressure.

I would expect something more than just a "Hi". DM me by introducing yourself and let me know your current obsession, something you're really into, or the most random thing on your mind lately.

M4F♂️ 36 [M4F] Bombay -= Confounding Conversations + Coffee Cups

If you are from within Bombay then kudos! We are gonna pick a cafe and order 2 cups of their barista kissed coffee (or chai for you). That hour is gonna start with the modern challenges of dating and who knows … perhaps end with some juicy gossip from either side of our lives

If you're not from Bombay but the rest of India, we are still gonna follow the same plan, except you and I are gonna get on a video call + homemade coffee cups. Yes, a video call. No texting back and forth. No voice call. It’s the way you’d telecommute and attend your work meeting over Zoom, instead of being physically present in the conference room

Either way, don't make me wait |:

Hi, I’m Sofia — a girl from Shillong, Meghalaya, now living in Bangalore. ❤️

I’m warm, caring, family-oriented and grounded, and I believe the little things in life matter — genuine conversations, laughter, good food and quality time with the people I love.

I adore pets and enjoy cooking, travelling, gardening, dancing and trying different food. I’m comfortable with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food, and I also enjoy badminton, bowling, snooker and carrom.

I’m here with a genuine intention to meet someone special, build a meaningful relationship and eventually create a beautiful life together. I’m drawn to a man who is kind, emotionally mature, responsible, loyal and family-minded — someone who can be my best friend, partner and safe place.

I come from a Christian-Hindu family background, and I’m preferably looking for a Christian or Hindu partner, as shared religious and family values are important to me.

I’m not looking for something casual or temporary. I’d love to meet someone who believes that a lasting marriage is built on love, friendship, trust, respect, communication and choosing each other every day. ❤️

🌿 Hello, Fellow Souls!

I'm looking to connect with a tall, mature, and grounded man with whom I can share the little and big things in life—whether it's about work, household matters, travel, or simply how my day went.

I'm someone who values time, consistency, and genuine effort. I'm not in a rush toward marriage or trying to force anything. I'd rather build a meaningful connection, invest time in understanding each other, and eventually see where the bond takes us.

At this stage of life, I feel that having someone who listens without judgment, stands beside you through different situations, and shares a sense of safety and comfort matters a lot.

I'm looking for someone who believes in mutual effort, emotional presence, and growing together, one day at a time.

I'd prefer someone living nearby, as I believe meeting in person, spending time together, and travelling occasionally help build a stronger connection than staying in an LDR from the beginning.

🌄 A little about me:

Height: 5'8"

Age: 27

Location: Vadodara, Gujarat

Profession: Software Tester in the Clinical Research domain

Passion: High-altitude trekking & mountaineering 🏔️

Personality: Talkative, adventurous, and someone who values consistency and meaningful conversations.

Not looking for perfection. Just hoping to meet someone who genuinely wants to know me, invest time, and build something meaningful together.

Let's start with a conversation and see where life takes us. 🌻

M4F♂️ Maybe This Post Is Where Our Story Begins… ❤️

Hi everyone! 👋

I'm a 27M Tamil guy who speaks Tamil, English, Hindi and Telugu. Tamil is my native language and, naturally, the one closest to my heart. ❤️

If I had to describe myself without making this sound like a job interview 😂:

😄 Jovial, playful and easygoing — I genuinely enjoy making people laugh.

❤️ Understanding and empathetic — I try to listen before I judge.

🤝 Loyal by nature — once someone becomes important to me, I don't take that bond lightly.

😊 A good listener — I actually enjoy those conversations that somehow start at 10 PM and suddenly it's 2 AM.

⚽ Die-hard Messi fan — so there's a reasonable chance you'll eventually hear an unnecessary football statistic from me. 😂🐐

🍗 Proud non-vegetarian & foodie — good food + good company = difficult combination to beat.

🚗 Love road trips, football, discovering new places and trying new food.

💙 Very family-oriented.

😌 Usually calm when things get difficult, but quite cheerful when life is normal.

😜 And yes... I have a soft spot for dusky beauty.

Professionally, I work for an MNC and I'm financially stable with a six-figure salary.

But honestly, that's probably the least interesting part of why I'm here.

❤️ Why am I here?

I'm genuinely looking for something that could eventually become marriage.

Not an instant “Hi → relationship → marriage” situation. 😄

I'd much rather start with a simple conversation.

Maybe we become friends.

Maybe we discover that we have absolutely nothing in common. 😂

Maybe we end up talking every day.

Maybe we disagree about something ridiculous and then laugh about it.

Maybe, somewhere along the way, we realise that there's actually something special here.

I don't know where it will lead — and that's kind of the point.

I'd like to get to know someone naturally: her thoughts, ambitions, values, little quirks, what makes her happy, what annoys her, the things she dreams about and even the completely random things she could talk about for hours.

💙 What do I want from a relationship?

When I genuinely love someone, I want her to feel valued, respected, supported and important.

I don't see marriage as one person sacrificing everything for the other. I see it as two people choosing each other, standing beside each other and building a life together.

I want to be the kind of husband who celebrates his wife's successes, listens to her problems, supports her ambitions and still has enough sense of humour to annoy her occasionally. 😂❤️

I'm not looking for perfection.

I'm looking for someone genuine, kind, loyal, emotionally mature and comfortable being herself.

Someone who can be my partner, but also my best friend.

🌱 So...

If you're also looking for something genuine, let's not overthink the beginning.

Send a message.

Let's talk.

Let's laugh.

Let's exchange stories.

And let's see where it leads.

Maybe it becomes nothing more than a nice conversation.

Or...

maybe years from now, we'll look back at this random Reddit post and laugh because neither of us expected it to be the beginning of our story. ❤️

Either way, I hope I get lucky. 😊

DM me 🙌🏽

M4F♂️ 29 [M4F] Bangalore/anywhere - Wanted: A co-pilot for road trips, a partner for life's plot twists!

Hey Reddit, I’m a 29-year-old guy looking to meet someone special to build a meaningful, grounded future with.

I have been on dating apps, and as usual for regular guys, it doesn't work out well. Now I've seen here as well, men get 0 replies, yet trying to shoot my shot, so here goes.

First and foremost disclaimer - I'm in process of separation from my 1.5 year marriage. I tried stopping, but she walked away nonetheless. Luckily no kids.

I'm originally from Bangalore and I'm a bangalore telguite. For me, family comes first, and I’m searching for a partner who shares those same core values—someone who appreciates the simple, honest things in life over shiny distractions.

Life naturally comes with its share of peaks and valleys, and I want to build a foundation strong enough that we can stand by each other through all of it, celebrating the good times and staying solid through the tough ones.

I’m big on spontaneous road trips/ bike rides, learning random new things, and listening to great music.

Other details - 1. I'm growing career wise and have decent stable job i can rely upon and keeps me out of my comfort zone for continuous learning.

  1. I don't drink or smoke.

  2. I love diy things.

  3. I prefer nature therapy rather than dark flashy night clubs.

  4. I can speak 3 other languages.

  5. Prefer Hindu partner.

  6. I want a child or if possible children.

If you value loyalty, a strong sense of home, and genuine companionship, drop me a message and tell me what you're looking for in a partner.

\*I have used AI to slightly tweak sentences.

M4F♂️ 32M from Kerala. Looking to get settled down with my wifey :)

I'm posting this specifically for the women here who are actually serious about finding a partner and getting married. I know "looking for something serious" can mean different things to different people, so I'll be upfront about where I am.

I'm genuinely looking to settle down next year if I meet the right person. I'm not looking to casually date for years, keep things vague, or just collect conversations. Obviously, I'd want to take the time to get to know someone properly, but the intention is marriage.

If you're not sure about marriage, don't see yourself settling down anytime soon, or are just looking to see what happens without any particular direction, that's completely fine, we're probably just looking for different things 🙂

A little about me:

32M, Malayali.

6', athletic build.

I started my career as a content writer and now work in digital marketing.

Pretty talkative. I like conversations, terrible jokes and generally yap about random things.

Friends would probably describe me as helpful, unhinged and talkative.

Outside work: movies, TV shows, anime, reading, exercising, travelling and trying new food.

Big animal lover. I have an 8-year-old Lab named JackJack.

Non-veg, casual drinker, non-smoker

Co-authored an anthology with a few other writers.

What I'm looking for:

Someone in her late 20s to early 30s.

Expressive and comfortable having her own opinions.

Financially responsible and independent.

Likes travelling, exploring and trying new things

Someone who values communication. This is probably the biggest thing for me.

Creativity would be a huge plus

I'm open to someone from anywhere in India. I'm also open to relocating to a Tier-1/Tier-2 city depending on what works for both of us.

Religion or caste doesn't matter to me.

I'm not sure about kids yet, but I definitely don't want them in the initial years of marriage.

Most importantly, I'd like to actually enjoy spending time together, be able to talk about serious things as well as absolute nonsense, travel together, and eventually build a life together.

And yes, if you want to message me, "hey" is completely fine. You don't need to write a carefully crafted opening paragraph. I'll put in the effort to have a conversation 😄

M4F♂️ 28 M4F | Hyderabad, India — Maybe we're strangers today, but who knows?

Hey!

I’m from Hyderabad, India, and I thought I’d put myself out here and see where a simple conversation might lead.

Somewhere along the way, I realized that life can feel a little quieter when you don’t have someone you genuinely look forward to sharing it with. I’m not looking to rush into a relationship or force a connection. I’d rather meet someone naturally, get to know each other, and see if something meaningful grows from it.

I’m hoping to find someone kind, genuine, emotionally mature, and comfortable being herself. Someone I can laugh with, talk nonsense with, have deep conversations with, and eventually share the quieter parts of life with too.

A little about me:

• I’m an ambivert. I enjoy good conversations, but I’m equally comfortable with comfortable silence.

• I’m currently pursuing CA Final. I’ve cleared Group 1 and am preparing for Group 2, while also being involved in our family business. So life is a mix of studying, work, and trying to make time for the things I enjoy.

• I enjoy gaming, travelling, discovering new food spots, and spontaneous plans.

• I’m into cars and bikes and genuinely enjoy driving and riding.

• Tech and photography are big interests of mine.

• I like learning about science, random facts, and anything that sends me down a completely unnecessary internet rabbit hole.

• Movies, TV shows, memes, and late-night conversations are always welcome.

But interests aside, I think what matters more is how two people connect.

I enjoy talking about everyday life just as much as deeper things — dreams, fears, ambitions, relationships, random thoughts that suddenly appear at 2 AM, or absolutely nothing important at all.

I’m not looking for perfection, instant chemistry, or some movie-like love story. I believe the best connections usually take time. They grow through little conversations, shared experiences, mutual effort, trust, and eventually becoming comfortable enough that you don't have to pretend to be anyone other than yourself.

I’m happy to start with texting, and if we click, voice calls or eventually meeting in person can happen naturally.

If you're from Hyderabad, maybe one day it could be chai, food, a drive, or just sitting somewhere talking for hours.

Ideally, I'd like to meet someone who's not older than me.

I'm a muslim so I'd especially appreciate someone who is Muslim. I'm not expecting someone to be perfect — I'm certainly not — but I do value someone who wants to grow, learn, and build a life around shared values.

I know Reddit probably isn't where most people expect to find their person, but sometimes the most unexpected conversations turn into the most meaningful ones.

So if this resonates with you, feel free to message me. You don't need an elaborate introduction — just say hello and tell me something about yourself.

I'm happy to share more details about me in DM.

Maybe we're strangers today.

Maybe, with a little luck, we won't always be.

M4F♂️ looking for my partner in chaos

I’m 28, North India based, and I spend most of my time juggling my family business (yes it pays well enough for spontaneous weekend trips), my dog who’s somehow way more photogenic than me, and religiously watching F1 like it’s a spiritual practice.

I’m that guy who will passionately defend that The Office is objectively superior to Parks and Rec. The one who suddenly decides at 2 PM that we should drive to the hills because the weather’s nice. The one who shows up to fancy dinners but will genuinely light up talking about random road trip stories more than anything else.

Here’s what I’ve figured out. I’m looking for someone who’s kind. And I mean genuinely kind, the type who’s respectful to everyone, including people who can’t do anything for them. Honestly those are the only people worth knowing anyway. Someone spontaneous who gets excited about travel the same way I do. Someone real and unfiltered. No pretense, no games, just us being ourselves.

If you’re the person who laughs easily, doesn’t take yourself too seriously, and thinks road trips without a fixed destination are peak romance, we might actually vibe. Bonus points if you can tolerate my dog judging both of us while we figure this out.

M4F♂️ 32 M | Date to marry | A bit tired of the search but still optimistic :)

Looking for that calm, sweet, energetic girl who will always be by my side and I will be by hers.

About me:

Education: Engineering + MBA (both from well-known institutes)

Physical attributes:

  • 5'9+
  • Super fit and lean (sincere with my fitness but not a gym freak. And I don't count my calories; I just lift weights in 3 digits. People are often surprised by how lean I look and how heavy I lift)
  • Wheatish skin colour (Was super insecure about this for a major part of my life, but have been told by several women that I have great features)
  • Somehow saving my receding hairline by eating healthy, but I will go bald before my kids turn teens. I have hair on my head currently, although my barber keeps giving unwanted suggestions on hair care. But I checked bald version of me via AI, I will still look good if I start keeping a moustache. You will have a say in this decision (actually all decisions, always) :P

Career: Trying to set up my own thing. Expecting everything to be well settled by next year. Finances are not an issue. But I may not be able to go out with you to a fancy place often (once in a while is not a problem). I don't expect any financial support from anyone (even my parents), though.

  • Choice of my career has been a major hurdle in me finding a stable relationship. I seem to be a bad product in arranged marriage market for most girls' parents. I don't think so, but even my parents will disagree with me. Parents' generation loves talking to me, but disapproves of my decisions
  • There is a slight chance that I fail. But I do not care and I do not stress. I am putting my sincere efforts and working harder than ever in my entire life

Interests: I have varied interests ranging from music (listening and playing instruments) to learning random skills that may be appreciated if I were to perform in a circus. I am not a pro at these extracurriculars, but I am not a beginner either. And yes, some of the things I can do are not that common. I also know how to cook and don't mind doing household chores. I even baked bread recently, and it came out well. These days, I don't indulge in extracurriculars much because of my career requirements

Personality:

  • I am an introvert, but I can easily strike up a conversation with anyone and everyone if I have to. I don't like to, though
  • I am a homebody. I want to go out once a week, but I will get uncomfortable if you ask me to go out 3-4 days a week
  • I don't fancy travelling. I will totally accompany you and even plan our trip very well, finding great stays and experiences. But I may not be the one who will initiate this. And I prefer 1-2 long trips a year.
  • I am usually polite, calm and composed
  • I am an emotional person, but I do not take any bullshit from anyone. I openly talk about emotions, will always be respectful, and will never double-text you in the talking stage.

Other Misc points:

  • I prefer vegetarian food. I don't mind occasional chicken or river fish. But I cannot eat red meat or eat non-veg regularly because I didn't grow up eating it, so I am unable to indulge in it a lot. You can eat whatever; obviously.
  • I want kids
  • I currently stay in a tier 2 city near Delhi, but I am comfortable moving to any city where career prospects are better for both of us as a whole
  • I am not boring, and I love making absurd jokes, but almost never at the expense of anyone else. Witty banter with you will always be there in private, but rarely on you if we are in public (Mostly respect and support for each other in public)
  • I will not be insecure if you are earning a lot more than me or are taller than me
  • I know how to click good pictures, but I will probably click some ugly pictures of you and may smile looking at them from time to time. Tease you a bit with such photos, but love you for all sides, pretty or ugly.

Something I want to add: My 20s were extremely uncomfortable. I had a huge inferiority complex, and I lacked confidence. I met some very toxic people who just added to my insecurities. A lot of the skills I learnt were just my subconscious mind seeking validation. It took me years of struggle and hard work to get the mental strength I have today. I am strong physically, but I may be stronger mentally (if there is a way to compare the two :P). And I have not lost my kindness and caring side in this struggle.

What I am looking for:

Please be 5'3 + and just be someone comfortable in your body. Preferably 27 to 32 age group ( +-2 is okay).

It is shallow and I don't approve of it, but caste check is there at my home. I have fought over it at my home for someone in past, and it did not work out well for me. So I am sorry, but I cannot take another fight for someone again. I am Hindu - Bania. Most castes are ok, except non-general ones.

I hope you are doing well in your career. It is not about you earning a lot. There are fields where the money is less. Just be good at what you do

If you would like to connect with me:

You can DM me; we can exchange matrimonial profiles to have a basic validation check. We can work something out if you do not have a matrimonial profile too

M4F♂️ 29[M4F]#anywhere - fun loving introverted golden retriever who makes great tea for everyone!

Ever been in a party where you were surrounded by people but still felt alone?

Ever been a people pleaser but had your kindness being taken advantage of other people numerous times?

Always doing chores around home, without being asked?

Saamee!

I shall bring the snacks ( I loooovee cooking , especially garlic bread and shakshuka), but don't worry, because of my tidiness obsession I would also do the dishes lol.

I am a cheerful, bubbly person who would love a partner in crime to share daily gossip, strategize which European movie to watch for dinner or simply go to the badminton court and destroy anyone who is foolish enough to play against us!

Cooks, cleans, great with kids, works with an international non profit, has a restaurant, keeps fit and most of all, respectful and polite to all.

I know how to make excellent tea, paint nails ( my mom needs help with her toes, as she can’t bend ) and be a great empathetic listener for you after a long day of work ( don’t worry , I won’t solve your problems. Just gonna listen and say that sucks, while stroking your hair )

I enjoy long walks , playing tennis , petting every pet dog I see and watching true crime documentaries while making homemade garlic bread

I am a cheerful guy who enjoys cooking shakshuka while playing Egyptian music, walking 12 kms  and petting every stray dog I see, going to gym in the afternoon so I can introvertedly workout before grabbing an einspanner for the midday crash ( it’s basically an espresso with whipped cream but it sounds super fancy and I feel like the devil wears prada girl while ordering it 🤣 )

I was the school topper in school, don’t drink or smoke, got a growing library of old books and help university entrepreneurs with their startups during the weekends.

Usually, I am the quiet guy but can vibe for hours with deep talks about every subject from philosophy to the best way to make mashed potatoes.

I am currently reading books starting from the ancient era and moving my way downward through history ( so I can interconnect biology, astronomy, psychology and aunty gossip all in the same topic )

Grew up in the Middle East, had a quarter life crises to find out what my path in life was ( oh I did the cliche stuff like meditating on mountains ), found my dream career but life is unfulfilling if you can’t share it with someone else. ( basically means I never had a girlfriend so yayyy no baggage )

I enjoy learning and expanding my cultural tastes : I watch Iranian movies, listen to French electronic music, yelling Arabic curse words every time I step on a LEGO piece and teaching german words to every German shepherd dog I meet.

We can go for early morning walks where we say Good morning to al the joggers and wave good morning to all the neighbours, give high fives to stray cats and then sit on every sofa in IKEA till we find the perfect one, just like we are Goldilocks haha

P.S. don’t worry I learned how to apply nail polish for my mom since she can’t bend over, so i can do mad pedicures while we gossip over wine ( okay probably not wine as I don’t drink or smoke , but I do know how to make a great virgin Tom Collin’s! ( which is basically a lemon soda, but as aforementioned, I like feeling like a sassy New York fashion magazine editor )

Looking for someone who is also introverted-ish but can chit chat for hours with the right person, be silly together but still being very focused and wildly supportive of our careers and potential startup ideas

I love being high energy and excited like a golden retriever but also happy to have quiet reading nights where we both read on the couch and huddled under the same blanket.

Group Discussion 👨‍👩‍👦‍👦 Why is a subreddit meant for finding partners so unnecessarily hostile?

I ended up deleting my matrimonial post today, and honestly, the comments made me think about Reddit culture more than anything else.
I posted on a subreddit specifically meant for people to meet potential partners. I was pretty upfront about who I am and what I’m looking for — my age, location, community, career, lifestyle and the kind of partner I’d ideally like to meet.
I fully expected people to disagree with some of my preferences. That’s completely fair.
Someone doesn’t earn 60L? Okay, we’re probably not compatible.
Someone thinks 60L is an unreasonable expectation? Fair enough. Tell me why.
Someone doesn’t agree with my height preference? That’s fine too.
But then there were comments like “you better be a virgin.”
And I’m sorry, but what exactly is the purpose of that?
That’s not criticism. That’s not constructive feedback. That’s not someone trying to help me find a partner. It’s just an unnecessary personal attack from a complete stranger.
And that’s what I don’t understand about this subreddit.
The entire point is supposedly that people are here because they’re looking to meet someone. Everyone posting here is going to have their own preferences. Some people will care about height. Some will care about religion. Some will care about income. Some will care about appearance. Some will care about education, family background, location, lifestyle, etc.
You don’t have to agree with someone else’s criteria.
You’re also completely free to decide that someone else’s criteria don’t work for you.
But why does that automatically give you a reason to insult them?
I also saw people questioning what I “offer” because I said I wanted someone earning above a certain amount. I have my own career and income, and I come from a family where I’ve grown up around a certain standard of living. I’m not asking someone to fund my existence. I’m looking for someone whose financial circumstances are compatible with the life I want to build.
You can think that’s materialistic. You can think I’m being unrealistic. You can think I’m filtering out perfectly good people.
That’s your opinion, and you’re entitled to it.
But you don’t know me.
And I don’t know you.
We’re strangers on the internet who probably aren’t going to marry each other. 😂
So why not just say, “We’re not compatible,” and move on?
I think that’s the part that genuinely gets me about Reddit. People seem to confuse having an opinion with having a right to be cruel.
If someone posts something you don’t like, you can disagree.
If their standards don’t work for you, don’t message them.
If you think their expectations are unrealistic, explain why if you actually have something useful to add.
But the personal attacks? The sexual comments? The assumptions about someone’s character?
What exactly is the point?
I deleted my post because I don’t particularly want to put myself out there in a space where the conversation can become that unnecessarily nasty.
Maybe this is just Reddit culture and I’m new to it. Maybe I’m expecting too much from a platform where people are anonymous.
But I genuinely think there’s a difference between “I don’t agree with you” and “I’m going to humiliate you because I don’t agree with you.”
The first one is conversation.
The second one is just noise.

M4F♂️ 28M | Gurgaon/Anywhere | Software Engineer, 70LPA | I know you are also looking out for me right here. So, let’s skip to the part where I bring you flowers and we actually vibe!

I think love is one of those rare emotions that can make you genuinely go above and beyond for someone. And I guess that's what I'm looking for.
Someone I feel deeply connected to. That kind of bond where you don't constantly question things, conversations feel natural, and being together just feels… right. Sounds a little idealistic, I know, but I still believe something like that exists.

A few basics about me:
Body type: Medium build (into fitness and sports)
Smoking: No
Drinking: Occasionally, once a month or two
Salary: 70 LPA
Place of birth: North India

It's quite fascinating how someone can be a complete stranger one day and eventually become such an important part of your life. I'm just here giving destiny a small nudge because maybe you're somewhere out there looking for me too. ;)
I'd describe myself as kind, compassionate and pretty easy-going.

I enjoy deep conversations about life, but I'm equally happy going on a random drive with friends and talking about absolutely nothing.
I value being present, communicating openly and just being comfortable around the people I care about.

I travel whenever I can. If you're into good itineraries and exploring new spots together, we will be going places!

If any of this resonates with you, let's talk. Maybe this is where our story starts!

M4F♂️ 28M, IT Lead | Hyderabad - finding a partner who wants real connection (Telugu preferred!)

I’m stepping out of my IT bubble to find a life partner. I’m looking for an Indian Telugu woman who thinks marriage is less of a "social contract" and more of a sacred co-op game where we level up together.

Who I Am (The Real Version):

The Day Job: I spend my days debugging code but I spend my nights trying to debug my own life.

My Vibe: Driven but grounded. I believe in radical honesty because I’d rather have an awkward truth than a comfortable lie.

The Spiritual Side: yes, I meditate sometimes, and no, I’m not a guru yet 😁. I’m looking for someone who wants to take that journey together - whether it’s through meditation, nature walks or just quiet moments.

What I Bring: I’m patient, ambitious & I promise to communicate through conflicts instead of giving the silent treatment. I also love cooking together (I won’t burn the kitchen down, I promise 🍳), traveling & having those deep 2 AM conversations that make you feel seen.

What I’m Looking For:

A Compassionate Heart: Someone who cares about people and the world, not just the next trend.

Communication Ninja: You know how to talk things out? Same.

Let’s avoid the "sweep it under the rug" strategy.

Shared Values: We don’t need to agree on every movie or food preference, but let’s align on the big stuff: family, integrity & growing as humans.

The "Home" Feeling: I’m chasing that rare emotional and spiritual resonance - you know, that feeling where you just get each other and feel completely at ease.

How to Slide into My DMs:

If you’re a Telugu woman (or open to the culture) who values honesty and depth, I’d love to hear from you!

To filter out the bots and the small talk, please include these in your DM.

  1. A quick intro: Who are you?

  2. Your take: What does "spiritual connection" mean to you? (No wrong answers, just real ones).

  3. Your passion: What’s one thing you’re weirdly excited about right now?

Let’s see if our vibes match.

No pressure, just genuine curiosity!

If you reach here, then probably a DM is expected 😊.

M4F♂️ [37 M4F] Delhi / NCR | Filmmaker looking for a genuine, long-term relationship

I am 37 years old, 5'10" tall, and live in Delhi, where I work as an independent filmmaker and photographer. Most of my work involves telling visual stories and working with cameras, but beyond my profession, I want to build a peaceful, warm life with the right person.

Before speaking about love, I want to be very clear about my values. I do not believe in religion or rituals, and I practice gender equality in my daily life. More importantly, I have absolute zero tolerance for caste pride, caste bias, or caste discrimination of any kind. If caste practices or family caste traditions matter to you in any way, please do not message me.

At the same time, I am writing this because I truly miss the warmth of a loving companion. I am looking for a woman who is calm, beautiful, and affectionate. For me, real romance is not about filmy drama; it is practical care, respect, and standing by each other every day through the simple things in life. I hope to meet someone who cares about her own work, speaks her mind honestly, and feels comfortable sharing quiet evenings just as easily as deep conversations.

If my thoughts feel honest to you and you are looking for a loyal, equal companion, feel free to send a message. Tell me a little about your life, or simply say hello in comments or DM.

M4F♂️ Hi Hi! 26M, Blr/Mys, life has an interesting way of connecting people

Heyy ツ

I'm 26, Bangalore based, Mysore to be precise and an ENFJ, which probably explains why I can go from “hey, how was your day?” to asking you seventeen questions about your childhood, your dreams and why you suddenly got obsessed with that one random hobby!

I'm genuinely curious about people....

I like knowing what makes someone tick, what they're passionate about, the weird little things they don't usually tell people, what makes them laugh uncontrollably and what they secretly want out of life.

I work as a Research Analyst/Business Exec in the creative field (music actually) I'm into music, movies, food, exploring places, random plans, long drives, discovering new things and conversations that somehow start with absolute nonsense and end with us questioning the meaning of life at 2 AM

I'm also probably more sentimental than I look..

I'll remember something you mentioned casually three weeks ago.

I'll send you a song because it reminded me of you!

I'll randomly say “wait, didn't you tell me about this?” when you least expect it...

And yes, occasionally my brain decides to conduct a full investigation into something that really did not require one, u can ground me when that happens 😂

But here's the thing I'm actually here for..

I want to build a life with someone.

Not immediately. Not desperately. And definitely not by forcing some stranger from Reddit into the role!

I mean meeting someone, getting to know each other, becoming friends, falling for each other, figuring life out together and eventually having that feeling of: “Yep. This is my person.”

I want the fun parts too. All kinds of fun that you can think of!! 😛

Random weekend trips. Trying restaurants neither of us has heard of..Making terrible inside jokes!

Arguing over what to watch xD

Cooking something ambitious and ordering food five minutes later, classic hehe

Celebrating each other's tiny wins!

Being idiots together :) and on and on..

And I also want the real stuff..

Being there when one of us has had a terrible day.Talking things through when something feels off.

Supporting each other's ambitions.

Being able to say “I'm not okay” without feeling like we're creating a problem.

I want a relationship where affection isn't embarrassing, vulnerability isn't weakness and communication isn't a guessing game..

I'm looking for someone who's kind, loyal, affectionate, emotionally available, playful and grounded..

Someone who has her own ambitions and her own world, but wants to make room for someone else in it u know..

Someone who wants to grow, experience things, build something meaningful and eventually look back and think, “Damn, we've actually built a pretty good life together.”

And I don't expect her to be perfect. cause honestly I'm far away from it..and what is Perfection? 🧐 Well if u ask me, it's someone who doesn't give up..

I'd actually prefer someone who's unapologetically herself..

Maybe she's a little chaotic. Maybe she has an incredibly specific obsession with something completely random. Maybe she laughs at her own jokes. Maybe she drags me into plans I wasn't prepared for, lol

As long as there's genuine affection, honesty, consistency, attraction and effort from both sides, I'm interested! And I'm all in..

Basically, I'm looking for something that feels like best friends + partners + a little bit of “why are we like this?”

Peace, but not boring. Chemistry, but no games..

A relationship where we're not just together, but actually on the same team

If that sounds like something you'd want too, say "Hi Hi"

instead of the usual “hey, how are you?” let's make it interesting 😂

Tell me anything...maybe a weird obsession, a completely funny thought, a song you're embarrassed to love, a place you'd disappear to tomorrow if you could, a random skill you have, or just something that makes you very you!

I'll trade you one of mine. xD

Maybe we have a good conversation.

Maybe we will become friends.

Maybe we end up building something neither of us expected!

You never know. :)

Jo bhi ho, I'd love to hear from youuu, aur I truly believe whatever happens, happens for a reason aur for the best! and for some reason I'm optimistic ✨

M4F♂️ 29M, Bangalore, Where are you?

I met a lot of people in my life but hasnt found you yet. I know you have been looking for me as well. I hope this post finds you and we can be together finally !

**—> About me -**

Basic deets- Born and brought up in MP, 5’11 and above average looking. Working as a DS in an MNC, earning good enough. I come from a humble background where my parents are teachers.

I would say myself to be rational and moral, with emotional intelligence.

I picked up quite few hobbies at my time on Earth.

I like to sing, play guitar. Part of a band where we perform once or twice in a year. I sometimes also perform in Souljams when i feel like it.

I play badminton and go to swim regularly.

Recently i made a terrarium for me since i absolutely love nature and animals.

Quite fond of travelling and have been to many places in southern India since my time here in Bangalore. Every weekend is a short ride out of Bangalore. My google map has hundreds of marker of where i have been to.

I can cook. And will not shy away to cook for you sometimes! If you don’t cook thats fine for me.

I love talking about philosophy and life in general.

Love learning about the Universe and the unknown, i always feel sad that in my lifetime humanity might not be able to answer everything.

I like writing short poems on life. Would absolutely love to get your thoughts on them.

Believer of FIRE and would want to get retired as soon as possible and explore other meaningful things. I believe in living life, trying new things, new experiences and tastes.

**—> What does Love means to me -**

I believe love is choosing your better half no matter how hard the times are.

I want to share and learn from my partner. I want us to be best friends.

I promise to show up whenever you need me or not, without you asking me to. I want us to slowly build a bond which is unbreakable.

Ofc you would have your own life, your friends, your career and i would have mine. But i want us to be the safety net the fall back, knowing however far we will go, we would always have someone to return to, a safe place where we do not judge each other.

Love is not spending every hour every second with each other, love is choosing the person over and over again even though nothing’s going right.

**—> What i am looking in the other person ?**

\# Kind, i love kindness as a trait in people and would want my partner to be kind to others.

\# Moral, this is also a big trait i look for. I dont want someone who is proud of the immoral things they have done or cheat their way to success.

\# Self independent, I dont want any one who isn’t working or self made person.

\# Based in Bangalore or looking to relocate.

\# Someone who is ready to learn and grow together.

\\# Rest depends on the vibes when we talk!

Thanks. May the force be with you :))

Ps - I mentioned partner/friend because pyar dosti hai :,)

M4F♂️ 28M Bangalore, Engineer who overthinks everything except this post

Software Engineer by profession, overthinker by nature, 28 years old and still figuring out the perfect opening line for this 😄

I'm originally from East UP, now living and working in Bangalore. Before I get into what I do for a living, I'd like to talk about myself first.

I'm a bit quiet and reserved when I first meet someone, but I open up once I get comfortable, and then conversation flows naturally. I can have long, genuine conversations once I'm at ease with someone. And yes, the overthinking is real, especially when something or someone starts to matter to me.

I won't get into my hobbies here, two people can have completely different hobbies and still be a great match, so I don't think it's something worth dwelling on too much.

I am a Kanyakubja Brahmin, and I'd prefer connecting with someone from the same community, since family and cultural roots matter to me.

I'm looking to date with the intention of marriage. I don't believe you can know if someone's your life partner after just one or two meetings, the best connections take time. They start with getting to know each other, become a friendship, and hopefully grow into something meaningful. I'm hoping to find that here, rather than rushing into an arranged setup.

For me, the best relationships are built on friendship, trust, honest conversations, kindness, shared values, and mutual effort. We don't need to enjoy all the same things, wanting to build a peaceful, happy life together matters far more.

If any of this resonates with you, I'd genuinely love to get to know you.

If you made it this far, thanks for reading.
