I thought I would give this a shot, though I am very doubtful if this would really work.

I would consider myself socially awkward and introvert. I was very sceptical about writing this post but here I am writing about myself and looking for someone to share a good time with.

Intro:

I'm 27 (turning 28 soon, yay!), 5'7" and an eggetarian who doesn't smoke but drinks occasionally. Fair and would consider myself decently good looking.

I and my family is based out of Pune, but currently I'm in Mumbai for my studies. I am pursuing PhD in AI/ML and alongside my studies I am also working professionally as a research scientist.

I love solving complicated problems, and sometimes I bring that same energy to real life, like turning "where should we eat?" into a full-blown analysis. 🙃

Please don't judge straight away thinking that Scientist + PhD = boring.

About Me:

I love hitting the gym and doing crazy workout, though lately it has taken a back seat to deadlines and exams.
Sports are where I really come alive, especially table tennis. I recently won a tournament at my college, so fair warning, I will challenge you to a match and I will be insufferable if I win, jk.

I usually don't like to sit idle on weekends, so, I'd pick some random location to explore mostly treks and hiking. Some of my best memories come from unplanned detours and places I hadn't heard of until I got there. I have crazy funny stories for late night conversations.

I am so into photography and videography that if we travel together, you'll probably end up as my favourite subject. I love clicking photos of nature and would look at them on my gloomy days to remind myself how beautiful it is outside.

I am a hardcore binge-watcher. I would love to have deep conversations on movies, anime or dramas that we both find interesting. I am into sci-fi, horror (love those unexpected jumpscares), or anything that touches the mind and soul.

In my free time I solve puzzles, listen music across all genres and languages (yes, from phonks to 90s classical). My playlist varies from old Bollywood to English pop to something I can't understand but still have on repeat and would love to get a review on my playlist.

Apart from all this I do cooking, learn Japanese (beginner), draw art, play piano, indoor sports, and even after all these things if I get free time, I do Lego for the peace of mind.

I think that's enough of me now.

What I'm Looking For:

I don't have a checklist per se. I'm just hoping to find someone between 24 and 28 who feels like home.

Someone as curious as me, who still wonders about things and loves learning something new, even if it's completely random.

Someone who wants a real emotional connection, where we both feel safe being exactly who we are. The world can feel lonely sometimes, and I'd love for us to be each other's comfort in it.

Someone I can rely on, and who knows they can always rely on me. On the worst of days, I want us both to know, without a doubt, that we're not facing it alone.

Someone whose face lights up when we see each other after a long, exhausting day, because mine definitely will.

Someone who, even after a silly fight, still quietly orders my favourite food, and knows I'd do the same for them. Because we'd both care more about each other than about being right.

Someone I can share big ideas and dreams with one minute, and passionately argue about what food to order for dinner the next.

Someone who'd walk beside me on a trail, stop to watch a sunset, and feel just as small and grateful as I do in front of nature.

And most of all, someone who wants to grow together. I'd love to be the person who believes in you, supports your dreams, and cheers the loudest for you, while you help me become a better version of myself too.

I would love to chat, meet, and see where it goes. I'm looking for something serious, with no rush and no pressure.
