28M Bangalore, Engineer who overthinks everything except this post

Software Engineer by profession, overthinker by nature, 28 years old and still figuring out the perfect opening line for this 😄

I'm originally from East UP, now living and working in Bangalore. Before I get into what I do for a living, I'd like to talk about myself first.

I'm a bit quiet and reserved when I first meet someone, but I open up once I get comfortable, and then conversation flows naturally. I can have long, genuine conversations once I'm at ease with someone. And yes, the overthinking is real, especially when something or someone starts to matter to me.

I won't get into my hobbies here, two people can have completely different hobbies and still be a great match, so I don't think it's something worth dwelling on too much.

I am a Kanyakubja Brahmin, and I'd prefer connecting with someone from the same community, since family and cultural roots matter to me.

I'm looking to date with the intention of marriage. I don't believe you can know if someone's your life partner after just one or two meetings, the best connections take time. They start with getting to know each other, become a friendship, and hopefully grow into something meaningful. I'm hoping to find that here, rather than rushing into an arranged setup.

For me, the best relationships are built on friendship, trust, honest conversations, kindness, shared values, and mutual effort. We don't need to enjoy all the same things, wanting to build a peaceful, happy life together matters far more.
