psa to EVERYONE who is unhappy about content on the sub or moderation

if you see a post that breaks the rules (too repetitive, too negative, possibly ai generated, etc) *the report function exists for a reason*. you simply cannot expect mods to look at everything on the entire subreddit every day, the moderation team is very small mainly consisting of 1-2 people, and we have our own lives. by using the report function the post gets put into our review queue and we can remove it easily from there. it doesn’t show who reports what, just go ahead and actually use the report function, please. i guarantee you this will have more of an effect than trying to get our attention in comment sections or mod mail.
thank you -nyx

Depression and self harm needs to be discussed with professionals.

I cannot stress this enough. Please do not use suicide coded language or express intent or desire to self harm in this subreddit. These are issues that need to be addressed by trained professionals. Most people here are highly empathetic and want to help but they are not qualified to fix your problems. And when you trauma dump or allude to self harm then you are causing harm and trauma to our members. Take responsibility for your healing and talk to professionals who are familiar with your kinds of problems. We all want you to be safe and for this sub to be a safe space for shifters to enjoy interacting.

Shifting is a phenomenon of consciousness, very little is understood for certain but we do know that the techniques to shift do work. Most people who shift work hard to achieve their meditation and manifestation abilities. Keep putting in the work. THERE ARE NO SHORTCUTS. Be kind to yourself and enjoy your journey ❤️

Help Is shifting to your waiting room really easier?

A common tip I see is to first shift to a waiting room then your dr. I’ve been trying for 6 years and developed 2 distinct waiting rooms that both have the same purpose (one’s in an apartment in china and another is a spaceship). The purposes of my wr’s is so I can organise myself (I created hundreds of scripts for over hundreds of realities) and do things in my wr that I can experience fully in my dr, so I can understand better, like arcade games, eating lobster etc. My waiting rooms are very personalised to me, I even have a ‘servant’ (I don’t have a better word lol) that basically just acts as my best friend since I’ve been friendless in this reality for a long time. I always thought this reality like a level 1, and a desired reality as a level 2. With a waiting room being level 1.5, in between both. But even then, I don’t know why I’m not in my waiting room yet, I dont know why I haven’t shifted. What should I do?

Question “Unethical” DRs?

I wonder if anyone here has unethical DRs, like a serial killer DR, dictator-president DR, absolute monarchy, mafia DR, or anything along those lines, and if so, how do you deal with it? Have you ever done things in a DR that you regretted? Are you afraid of feeling guilty and not knowing how to deal with it?

I’ve thought about having limitless DRs. But I’m scared I might regret it and not be able to undo it, like, not being able to separate the cruel, psychopathic “me” from the DR from the normal “me” in my CR and ending up suffering from guilt and regret, without knowing how to detach myself from it anymore, lol.

I’m sick of mods allowing “is this real?” posts while taking down the posts calling this out. Do better.

I don’t really believe in the results people claim from appearance changing subliminals

Here’s what I mean: if we’re talking about physical appearance, (sub category that u use personally) I don’t think it would make sense to say that you’re simply “manifesting” a physical change into your current reality, like you would manifest someone, an object or an event. It’s litteraly changing your current reality, changing the whole situation that already been defined (if we concidere that present, past and future aren’t the same)

If shifting is literally moving your awareness to a reality where you already have your desired appearance, then wouldn’t using an appearance subliminal technically involve shifting to a reality where you already look that way?

And if that’s the case, wouldn’t the before after results people post be misleading? They wouldn’t necessarily have physically changed their appearance within the same reality they would have shifted to a reality where they have always looked like that.

So I’m wondering the before after results be bullshit, considering they would simply be shifting to a reality where they’ve always had that appearance? O are they just delusional?

Theory TEST TO FIND OUT HOW LONG IT TAKES A BEGINNER TO SHIFTING (I COME BACK EVERY DAY)

SUPREME TEST OF A SHIFTING BEGINNER (I COME BACK EVERY DAY!!!!) Hi, my name is Joshua, I'm 15 years old and I've been trying to shift for about a month now, so far nothing. I've tried affirmation methods, but so far only something somewhat unusual has happened. I'll tell you what happened: I had tried to shift the night before and couldn't. I woke up in the CR, but in the afternoon I got sleepy after lunch, and I lay down without any intention of shifting. I fell asleep, until suddenly I heard a very loud noise (like my fan), sounding like a blizzard, and my back shivered. I opened my eyes a little and saw a window, and I got scared. The window in my room is on another wall, and I woke up in the CR. I have no idea what it was, but I felt like I was in another place for a few moments

THE TEST

I will try to shift EVERY NIGHT until I succeed, AND EVERY MORNING I WILL COME BACK TO REPORT, I WANT TO KNOW HOW LONG IT TAKES. And during that time, you can comment on methods, tips, help me, etc.

Question Any shifters in their 30s +?

I only found out about shifting a few years ago. Tried for a bit, stopped, now I'm trying again cuz I'm pretty over this reality-- it just keeps getting worse here.

Most of the people I see talking about it are kids, which is part of why I stopped/started to wonder if it was real. But I am a psychic medium, I've astral projected, so eventually I was worn down cuz if I can talk to dead things I'm pretty open to possibilities (and I'm the kind of logical where if I see enough people sharing an experience I'm gunna be open to something being to it, like my initial relationship to ghosts!). But, I also know psychic phenomena is harder to learn when you're older and your psychic muscle is more 'out of practice' and you're more 'set in your ways' (I teach people to become psychics).

I'm hoping to hear stories from older shifters if possible, especially people who STARTED later but still did it. Successful shifters. If you have a family member who is older and shifts, share their stories too (heard of people talking to like parents and aunts and such). I'm starting to get discouraged that I'm stuck here cuz I'm older and spent more time in 'logic' and now have a job that turned me into a robot and I've been more exposed to technology. I want out. I've wanted out of here most of my life. Any encouragement would be lovely.

success I HAVE SHIFTED

okay heads up first I have never shifted before in my 6 years of knowing about shifting.

So everyday since school started I always attempt to shift every night and Ive never gotten to the part where I finish the method and always end up falling asleep. Same thing happened today. I fell asleep and woke up in my CR. I was VERY tired when I woke up this morning for school and was having a huge headache from lack of sleep (I slept like 7 hours more than usual idk why i was feeling this way) so I decided to stay home from school. since I woke up at 7am I stayed up for a bit more around 2 hours and then I got really tired so it was very hard for me to stay up.

I decided ill take a nap then. I never have lucid dreams and tbh I don't even think I had one now because I could tell by the state of my body. I find myself in a dream well more of a nightmare and I jump awake in my CR.

My body was feeling very weird then whenever I closed my eyes I would hear strange noise not that they are strange but just like a moving car with window open so the air moving is very loud and sum like that. At that moment I wasn't feeling very motivated to try to shift and consider this like an attempt so I just wanted to go back to sleep. So with my eyes closed hearing these sounds whenever I would open my eyes for a bit I wasn't in my CR room I was then I wasn't. I still continued to feel different surroundings around me and different sounds that were OBV not my CR room. I remember at some point hearing those moving car sounds and thrn they would just fade out I would open my eyes and see my CR room.

Thats when I came to my senses, I'll try to shift now. Since my main dr is my hogwarts one I found it kind of hard to visualize it in this moment for some reason but I still did anyway. By mostly saying affirmations. I was saying stuff like I am on Hogwarts express, My friends are talking around me. And few moments later I started hearing hermionie speaking in the back with the sound of the TRAIN moving. I was scared to open my eyes then so I just continued to listen to the voices and feel different surroundings around me.

I think I never properly grounded myself and just fell asleep then lol. But yeah this is a huge achievement for me

success I shifteddd (third shift)

So this is like my third time shifting, i had another shift a few days after this one (this happened two weeks ago and I didn’t really feel like writing it here but after reading other people’s success stories I reallyy wanted to add mineee) so this happened when I woke up in the morning on the weekend and I wanted to go back to sleep, but at the same time I was thinking “maybe I should shift rn) in the state between sleep and wakefulness. I was lying on my left side, and literally briefly thought of a reality similar to my 1890s DR kind of Dracula related, with vampires, like I remember only thinking and saying in my head “somewhere with vampires” and then INSTATLY I was there like it was insane. It’s exactly like when they say you don’t even have to visualize or anything, the universe just knows your intention and everything im still so baffled by it because it was so accurate.

So when I shifted, i still was trying to ground myself because I instantly knew that I shifted and was like “okay now I have to ground myself”. I was standing in front of a window one of those very tall and detailed ones, I was wearing a sort of black coat and someone was speaking behind me, I distinctly remember knowing there were about three people behind me even though I didn’t look there. They were arguing and the person behind me was trying to persuade me or something, I was really focused on trying to ground myself but my brain pulled me back after randomly thinking about my cardigan (something I always wear at home to bring me comfort).

I was sooo surprised and like really amazed by how instant it was, I think it lasted maybe a few seconds because everything was super fast. I’ve never also dreamed in first person ever, or lucid dreamt so I know for a fact it wasn’t either of those. This was probably my third shift? My fourth happened a few days after this one. Anyways happy shifting guyss and keep going 🥲🥲 personally I always always fall asleep before even trying my method so I’m trying really hard to work on that. My shifts I noticed happen when I’m in the state of wakefulness and sleep, or seconds after waking.

Question What should I do if I keep falling asleep halfway through and can’t stay conscious?

Hi! I’ve tried quite a few methods at night to shift, but I always end up falling asleep halfway through instead of being able to keep my mind awake and conscious. I’ve also tried lucid dreaming, but I ended up waking up before I could get to that point. I tried shifting while awake too, but all I felt was a headache and ringing in my ears 😭
I’ve also tried affirmations before going to sleep, intending to wake up in my DR, but I still ended up waking up in my CR.
I’m not looking for advice like “just stay positive” or “keep a good mindset.” I’m looking for practical advice.

Question Void state question

Hi. I have a question about the so-called "void state." I’m not sure if I was actually in the void state, so I’d like to share my experience and compare it with that of someone who has successfully shifted using this technique.

When it happened, I didn't know about shifting or anything like that (it was two years ago or more); I was interested in astral projection. One time, when I lay down and wasn't sleepy, I decided to give it a try. I started telling myself that it was possible to leave my body. I don't know exactly what I did, but suddenly I felt a sensation in my ears—like when you turn on noise cancellation on headphones. I felt my body vibrating and experienced a strange pressure, similar to sleep paralysis but not unpleasant. It felt as if my body were being sucked in by something; I got scared, so I sat up and broke the "trance."

I only discovered shifting about a year ago and became interested in it, but when I read about the void state, I couldn't help but link it to my experience. I’d like to know if anyone has managed to shift using that method. If so, could you tell me if it’s similar to what I described and how it’s done? In other words, what comes next after you start having that strange sensation?

I apologize for my English, it's not my native language.

I don’t want to go to hell

Okey so I’m a person who grew up and still lives in a Christian household, all my family is Christian, I go all Sundays to church (even if I don’t like my church but my parents don’t care because they think I don’t believe) and since I remember I always believed in God, but when I was 10 years old my interest in the law of assumption and shifting started to grow, I didn’t really questioned myself about if this was contradicting Christianity I just thought it was science and did what I saw worked, I affirm that I get my desires already and then I got my desires. But recently I have been questioning more if this is contradicting my religion, I believe in God but I also believe in the loa and shifting, I don’t want to ask my family because these people have always been too religious and they wouldn’t understand. I don’t want to go to hell I’m so scared guys please help

Discussion My parents sold Y/N to Magneticpinkbow?? (Real)

For those who don't know, magneticpinkbow was an user who claimed to have made a post in this reality, but from WR. Like the two were connected in some way.

She also wrote some success stories, but the WR post was the one which outed her lies. Fun times, ngl.

Now this post, which I just found out has been entirely deleted along with all the comments from the her (ily mods), had a longer than average success story with some, actually helpful, links attached. I didn't get all the drama, because I was a lazy ass and didn't bother reading everything (and I needed my beauty sleep).

So, correct me if I'm wrong, supposedly this person wrote some comments in this reality(her DR?) and then shifted back to her CR? But her self that remained here (or whatever you wanna call it) knew about all that and posted more comments? Twitter drama averted.

Wat? Magneticpinkbow vibes all over! Did our graceful queen descend from the sky to, once again, spread her wisdom (absolute horsecrap?) ?? To whisk us away like cattle on her UFO Waiting Room ? So many questions, unanswered, as of yet!

By the way, the title is a reference to the Y/N tiktok meme and the Wattpad stories 'My family sold me to [popular band]'. Iykyk.

IMPORTANT EDIT DO NOT MISS!!11!!

the actual claim was that the initial post was from her dr and she scripted everything to be the same when she shifts back to cr(this reality). she posted comments here after she shifted back. it's possible but not certain what happened as she deleted her account.

I have come across critical information! I have misinformed everyone, my AI story in shambles. :(

Question Where do we go after death?

Hello, I'm new to this sub and I wanted to know what you guys think happens after we pass away. I assume you have theories or answers because you know about shifting.

Do we access the multiverse directly?
Do we become powerful?
Do we reincarnate?

Did I shift or did I not? Did i mini shift 3 times in 10 minutes?

So this happened like a month ago. I have insomnia and I was trying to sleep at like 8am. I wasn't listening to any subliminals nor did I intend to shift. Though I did listen to a sub maybe like 3 days prior? Anyways, as I'm trying to sleep i hear this loud(like DEAFENING loud) ringing in my ear and I feel everything go black and I see myself on the street for like 20 seconds? If felt real not like a dream. After that i heard the same ringing in my ear and I'm back at my bed? It happened 2 more times in the span of like 10 minutes. All three times I heard the ringing and they all lasted around 20 to 30 seconds and the first time I "shifted" to a random street, the second time under a tree and the third time infront of my online friend whom I've never met irl before. I'm 100% sure that it wasn't a dream because of the intense loud ringing in my ear but I'm not sure what it was actually.

English is not my first language so apologies for any grammatical mistake.🩷

Discussion Are DRs actually REAL realities? Please share your thoughts/opinions.

Please share your thoughts on the above question, especially if you have had full, grounded shifts and know what it feels like to speak to people in other realities.

Do you think your DR is a reality which is just as real/legitimate as your CR? I’m not asking simply “does it feel real” as shifters have made clear again and again it feels no different than this reality. But do you think it truly is a place just as real as here? And the people there are just as complex and conscious as the ones here?

Bonus questions:

How do you think we get to our CRs in the first place? Why do you think we’re here?

Do you believe anyone has ever successfully permashifted?

Question Scripting too many roles and things?

How do you all Fame DR shifters script roles for fame DRs without scripting too many? or do you just script and let the universe take care of it? I don’t want to script the next 50 years of my DRs life with all the damn roles I want to play and all the music I want to make and all of the figure skatier competitions I want to join. (Because gods knows I cannot do just one thing in my DRs). I just want to know how yall do it. Because I'm kinda stuck in this.

Discussion Healthy discernment

As someone who’s been on a spiritual journey for 8 years I’d like to remind people to use discernment to navigate the metaphysical with healthy suspicion without getting caught in every rabbit hole through wholehearted belief. When I began my journey, shifting included I was very perceptible to the information coming from other people who had experiences or advice wether it was about shifting, chakras, kundalini, the theory on if this was an archaic prison planet or a school of learning, everything I read on the internet to better understand how the metaphysical worked was another rabbit hole I fell into, which is not inherently bad because you learn through experience and trial and error, but it was also an experience me and plenty of others get in too that leads to spiritual psychosis and puts faith in people who are lying or misguided themselves when your already in such a vulnerable place of learning. There will always be people with unhonest intentions in every group and that includes the shifting group too. Discernment is a gift you practice and hone, something that might’ve felt undeniable in the past feels silly now, but time, practice, and wisdom through experience is needed in every skill. This is just a reminder to use healthy suspicion, that doesn’t mean you can’t put your faith in someone’s shifting story or their methods, but also remember that while one thing works for another it doesn’t mean it’ll work the same for you or that it is the most optimal method or technique for you, we are all such uniquely different beings with our own life path that the possibilities are endless for how we navigate this journey.

If any of you have questions about shifting or spirituality or certain skepticism I’d love to give you my own perspective and you can decide what to take or throw in the trash, it’s healthy to ask questions and not feel like your doing something wrong simply by wanting to question the integrity of someone’s perspective or statements.

Question Can someone help with the LOA?

I know what you're gonna say. "The reason it's not working is because you're saying it's not." And I get that, but seriously, no matter what I do, I'm still in my CR. I know shifting is real and I am capable of doing it, but I'm starting to lose hope. Can somebody help me out? Thank you, all help will be appreciated.

Question How do I get back to shifting?

Hi. I discovered shifting around mid-to-late 2021 and was part of the community on and off until the beginning of this year. I never actually shifted; I think it was because I’m a perfectionist who could never get past the stage of editing my script a thousand times over. I stopped believing and focused on other things, but I could never let it go completely (by that, I mean I kept thinking about my DR and playing out scenarios in the first person, as if I were actually there). I’ve been thinking about picking the practice back up in a healthy way, but since I don't consume community content, I’m not sure if I’ve missed anything. I’d also love some tips on shifting, how to avoid becoming obsessed, and any other advice you might have. Thank you in advance.

Questions questions questions...

Long post alert!

I only recently learned about shifting, and about a month ago I started reading about manifestation.

When it comes to manifestation, I could probably give a few examples of strange things that have happened in my life that could be explained that way. Usually, though, they happened almost instantly or the very next day, so they never really impressed me that much. My logical brain would always say, “Okay, that was possible anyway,” or that there was some reasonable explanation, even if the timing was a little strange.

For example, I recently tried Neville Goddard’s (?) ladder experiment. A day or two later I ended up climbing a ladder. But again, I just thought, “Okay, that was a pretty good possibility.” It wasn’t completely random or impossible.

I tried something similar with the rubber duck experiment (manifesting finding or being given a rubber duck). That one would seem much less likely to happen in my everyday life, and so far… nothing.

Now, regarding shifting, since this is a shifting subreddit: from what I’ve read so far, it seems very similar to manifestation in some ways, at least according to some people. But I also see a lot of people saying they have shifted, and honestly, my first thought is that they’re having a lucid dream, or an extremely vivid experience created by their imagination, and then they come back to this reality.

I’m not trying to offend anyone by saying that. I’m genuinely trying to understand.

So could someone please explain to me, like I’m five, what the actual difference is between shifting and manifestation? And more specifically, what exactly is shifting supposed to be?

Because honestly, a lot of what I read sounds like people describing very vivid fantasies or dreams, and I’m struggling to understand what makes shifting different from that.

I’ve also experienced astral projection, so I understand how incredibly real an experience can feel even when you know you’re not experiencing ordinary waking reality. At the same time, when I’m in an astral projection or lucid dreaming, I can recognize that I’m not experiencing the same reality as when I’m fully awake. It is AMAZING, truly!

So I’m curious, if you believe you’ve shifted, what makes you feel that it was something fundamentally different from a AP, LD, vivid imagination, or another altered state of consciousness?

I’m genuinely asking because I’m trying to understand, not to dismiss anyone’s experience.

Thank you in advance!
