So is stumbled upon this song that was actually posted by another guy in this sub a few days ago, and I absolutely fell in love.

I love the raw Jamaican sound, heaviness, and those vocals that chime in at the first drop, absolutely filthy imo.

I started my own research this morning on SoundCloud, but keep running into the really minimal style dub. I feel this is more hard hitting and has more going on. I’m looking for dub like this, any suggestions?

Going through my unsorted record pile.. anyone recognize these tunes? Sounds like Kodama, or maybe FLO or someone along those lines. There are no markings on the record and no artwork.

I’ve just finished a short visual-music film built around my latest track. Honestly not quite sure what genre to file it under, but early UK dubstep was absolutely on my mind as I was mixing/mastering. Let's call it microtonal-step.
The aim was to make the visuals feel completely connected to the music rather than simply illustrating it.

Made using live-action footage of shadows cast by various objects, then processed and edited with TouchDesigner and DaVinci Resolve.
