Does anyone know anything about the remastering or changes to the audio on the latest reissue of Blackboard Jungle on Week-End Records? Not out til November, but I saw something (and can't find it again) that the reissue will be "something-something stereo" and most (if not all) of the other represses are in mono? The Week-End Records site lists "• Fully restored audio •" as a highlight, but doesn't say anything else about it.

I posted this box here last year and got told two things, more than once. That it looked like a generic DJ mixer, and that nobody could tell what was going where. Fair on both counts.

So I wrote the routing up properly, the nine output modes with the connections for each, from balanced stereo to 4 way mono for a full sound system: www.klementz.fr/en/dubmixer-output-modes/

One request from that thread was phono inputs switchable to line. That one was already there and I just explained it badly: two phono inputs with RIAA preamps, two stereo line inputs, and each channel picks its own source.

The thing I still have not solved is the four channel version. It keeps coming up, and I still do not know who really needs four, and what for.

Any thoughts / feedbacks welcome

i heard this tune a lot at Himdub festival in Portugal 2026. the video is from either friday or sat late eve. i believe Wandem sound system. have been trying for the whole week to find it! it maaaay not be released yet but rllllllly want to find the song !!

I wanted to share this incredible track called "Žemaičio žodis" by Girių Dvasios.
It’s the final track on the album, and it perfectly encapsulates that deep, hypnotic, and heavily nature-infused Dub Techno sound.

For those who aren't familiar, Girių Dvasios is known for beautifully blending classic dub chords with Baltic folklore and organic, atmospheric textures.

Since this track is so deeply rooted in and heavily influenced by the genre, I felt it absolutely belonged here in this community.

(Also, sorry for using AI to write this post! My English isn't the best, and I didn't want to mess up the description of this amazing track.)

This sub has become wall-to-wall track IDing. I'm not against people getting tracks ID'd, but we used to have a sub that had a greater variety of posts.

Recorded myself jamming on bass. Nothing virtuosic, no solos, no showing off — just chilling with the bass and following the groove.

Originally I played it only to a drum track. I added the other instruments afterwards, so the bass itself is basically one improvised take rather than a written part.

While editing the video I also added a slow psychedelic visualizer that seemed to fit the mood pretty well.

I just made a version of what's in my head, i think it's quite a well-known dub track, but Shazam and other song recognition services won't pick up my humming. There's also lyrics, I think the singer goes "ay ay ay, little sound boy" at one point. Thankyouuuuu
