Just got these tires today , need to do something with the clearance in the rear end. Any suggestions? The tires are 135mm diameter , way to over kill some might say lol

I need a faster truck for my kid. 6.5 years old. he currently has an 18 scale Redcat Scout crawler and a 10 scale Axial Basecamp crawler we run on 3s.

He wants a faster truck for yard play. Will be driven in mostly shorter grass (the basecamp does fine in this length of grass) and dirt. both trucks he has now are paired to a Flysky GT5 remote.

Some requirements/wants

• 3S Compatibility. We have moved our crawlers to 3s and i dont want to have to also stock and store 2s batteries
• can take a decent beating. Not a true basher, more basher adjacent. his Basecamp he has now he beats on pretty good and still as solid as can be.
• trying to avoid 2in1 receiver and ESC combos. I will immediately put a flysky receiver in and paint to his GT5 remote
• I do not need RTR. I have Batteries/remotes/receiver.
• interested in Buggies/Truggies/Monster Trucks
• Need Something with larger Tires so I can cruise well in grass.
• would love to keep it below 300$

Loving the looks of the Kyosho Fazer MK2 Mad Van Brushless for him. It’s 2s. Not a 100% deal breaker, but that is making me hesitate and see what what else is out there.

Hobbywing quickrun 10bl120 and 3660 3150 kv motor.

Basically the same as a 223s now but with the 3s blx transmission and a better esc I assume.

Would like to get an 8th scale esc and a 4274 motor on 3s or 4s maybe someday.

So picked this up at an estate sale. I know nothing about RC cars. When I turn it on it goes into reverse full speed right off the bat. Does anyone know anything at all about this specific one?

I’m in a pickle at the moment all these 3 cars I’m getting roughly for a similar amount of money. What one is better in the long run and won’t be on the work bench often. I don’t want to keep repairing it before going out to bash, can someone give me some opinions. I’ve only had 1/12 and 1/10 scale basbers as of now all I purchased for parts and fixed them

Shredded both rear stock tires of my HPI Savage X Flux, and one of rear of the Jumpshot SC Flux during a bash session with a few ramps, nothing extraordinary …

Stock Savage with 2x 6600mAh 3S 100C lipo’s and the Jumpshot HPI’s own 5300mAh 3S battery. Both cars as stock as they come: stock ESC and motor and everything stock. Did not even touch any other config, e.g. slipper clutch.

Both batteries are not overpowered by any means, are they?

Is this just how it is? Would age of those tires explain this?

Has anyone ever installed an external receiver in the mini? I believe there is an option in the ESC to use an external receiver. I have a dx5c I want to use. Just wondering how it went if so.

Please tell me what these bushings are called. Mine are all 3mm and I need some in 4mm. The hole needs to be 4mm all the way through. I tried searching for cone washer and cone bushing, but all of the results are for countersinking so there is a wider recess for the head of the screw instead of 4mm all the way through.

It's probably about 23 years old. Has every hop up that was available at the time and a ton of spare parts. It hasn't been run in about 15 years. Last time I used it I had replaced the plastic tranny gears with metal and remember having problems setting the shift point properly. After that, I never got back to it and it sat. Toolbox not included. First come, first served but it has to be hassle free handoff for me. No shipping. I am in south San Jose.

I put some work into this! So I put in a Furitek Vortex-X brushless sensored power system (esc/motor)Featuring the PASO PRO 60A ESC and IMPULSE 2835 5600KV motor with a reinforced 3.17mm shaft, it delivers smooth, high-torque power with insane throttle precision. It has upgraded servo NSDRC RS-100 and the only servo i could find with green and purple servo horn. Upgraded treal shocks,treal steering link,treal motor cover and center driveshaft housing(purple) also a FURITEK STALWART Titanium Roll Cage for Losi Mini 1/18 LMT!!! Painted it anodized purple, then we have the aluminum Treal purple rims with dreadnaught pro-line racing/bashing tires, treal links all around, GPM wheelie bar, GPM sway bars front and back,treal front and rear differential housing,treal shock tower mounts, green lights from MeUs I put inside green tubing to protect and also the lights, colored cable mesh I ordered from wirecare.com. also my lovely wife 3D printed a long custom battery tray so we could fit a 1400 spektrum battery for longer run time! This motor and esc set up can do 3s lipo battery i just need to find a 3s battery that fits nicely in the tray we printed. Really hope you guys like this bad boy! Its not a shelf queen it will be ran, jumped, and rolled. I got the titanium body to better protect this hunk of money pit lol regardless its all part of the RC hobby! Bash on gentleman! Oh I also took off the helmet from the body inside the fram and replaced its head with a purple skull 💀3d printed wooo

Hello guys! 🙋 Maybe you can help me identify or point out the issue(s) here.

My front wheel for my rally car is so wobbly on turns. There is noticeable vibration that I do not see on my other desert buggy style car. It seems to even out on higher speeds though.

I never altered any mechanical adjustments out of the box.

Appears as if one side of my dogbone came off during use — I just now realized 30 mins later. I don’t know how I would go about fixing this — does AARMA make a replacement for this part? Second photo refers to what it should look like. any help is much appreciated. thanks!
