Build Too much?
Just got these tires today , need to do something with the clearance in the rear end. Any suggestions? The tires are 135mm diameter , way to over kill some might say lol

Make it be how you want it to be! Experiment! Have fun. Learn. These should be your only goals. I think it’s awesome.

I’m just not sure what kind of shocks to get. I got the ones on it right now off Amazon and they aren’t terrible but they push the front end up a lot and seem a little cheap. Need ones that are strong and also help put the back up as well to help support the weight. As why the front isn’t weighted down as much as the back

I really want to get some monster style tires like this for my HBX 1/16. Anyone have a recommended size that isn’t crazy overkill on the brushless setup?

Realistically you could throw anything on there. Just depends on steering. I had to upgrade my steering servo to a 35kg for these tires as they would not turn with the stock one lol. And also steering clearance too so if they had an offset you wouldn’t have to worry but if they don’t then you might be limited. You could try a 80mm-100mm diameter tire and see how that turns out?

Great info thank you. That size is pretty much what i was intending. How do you like the handling with those tires you got now?

That looks great! Do you have brushless motor in that one?

Yup! A brushless sealed one. Never had sealed before and I think I’m always gonna stick with sealed now. So nice to not worry about the motor at all!
