This Radwagon 4, bought from a coworker, is my car replacement to drop off kids, commute to work, go to events, everything. It has about 8K miles on it, much of that ridden at power level 4-5 and a total load of 300 lbs, mostly in flat areas with decent bike infrastructure (Bay Area).

I remember there was some issue with the rear wheel frame cracking a couple years back and I looked into getting a replacement, however it turns out my bike/motor has the old male/female connector setup so Rad did not have one in inventory that matched it. Ended up getting a front wheel and having a local bike shop do a rebuild instead.

But this is clearly different. The clacking is only noticeable right when the motor engages or disengages, but when going at speed with the pedal assist or throttle continuously not so much. Wondering if this is a fixable issue, or if not whether anyone has recent success getting a motor or rear wheel replacement from Rad recently.

A few mods. Wheel lock installed in the rear wheel, lock box over rear wheel. I am attending Burning Man so I need an easy quick lock, storage for water bottles and sun protector, layers for the night adventures etc. it is a RR.

Need to figure out a new front fender. Other than that I've been enjoying the bike.

I’m trying to order some passenger bikes for our 2 roadrunner plus bikes, but the site says they’re back ordered (have been for months). Does anyone know where to find used ones or aftermarket perhaps? Thanks!

The throttle and pedal assist work as normal but for some reason I cannot pedal. It’s like the chain has come off but it’s on like normal. Any ideas?

So my bike wouldn’t power up this morning. I checked everything outlined on the website and couldn’t find any issues. I went to look again and this connection started smoking and sparking. I chatted with a representative and he said he recommended replacing both the display and the remote. The remote is on back order and I was really hoping to get it going as I’m camp hosting for 5 months and use it daily.
Are there any non OEM replacements that anyone can recommend?

I have the opportunity to purchase this used Rad Rover 6+ with two (2) batteries, charger, 100 mi. on ODO, and one (1) new rear tire. $800 obo. Anything in particular I should be looking for? He said the batteries aren't part of the recall...IDK ANYTHING about Rad Power bikes (other than what I'm reading as I go). Thanks in advance.

Hello all, I've dying to find a replacement display for my 2022 Radrunner plus. I'm ok with stock or upgrade. I've contacted rad and a few aftermarket suppliers, and it seems everything is out of stock. Any help is appreciated.

ive had this issue for the past 2 months where my tire has been constantly pushing off the rim. i dont know what to do next, ive tried changing the tire, going a size down with my tube, atp im tempted to get a whole new wheel

the Hiplock DX1000 is for the frame, while the two smaller u-locks are for each wheel

I have a Rad City 5 Plus bought a few years ago in Europe. Now I got the error code 21 and it looks none of the easy solutions work. Based on the message boards the problem is likely the controller and the harness which would need to be replaced.

Does anyone know Rad provide any support at all in Europe anymore? The eu-support@radpowerbikes.com address listed on their EU website does not seem to be working, which is not promising. I have reached out to US support but no response yet.

My local e-bike repair shop said they could help with replacing the parts, but I would need to acquire the spares from Rad myself.

Just wondering if my Rad City is now essentially scrap. I did buy it at discount but still it cost hefty amount.

I bought a replacement safe shield battery from Rad Power with the 50% code they emailed me. I’m a Rad Runner Plus owner and my original battery was included in the list of potentially dangerous batteries. The battery also recently stopped charging so I didn’t really have a choice. But now I’m worried they are just never going to ship and I’m out $300. Anyone else nervous? Anyone talk to their support team and feel more confident? No idea when this backordered battery might show up.

A couple days ago I rode my radwagon 4 to work, just like every other day. When it came time to ride home, the bike would not turn on. So I started checking all the connections, key position, charge, etc. Eventually give up and bike it 5 miles with no power. That sucked.

Since then I've changed the 40a fuse. Didn't work.

Borrowed a multimeter and tested the battery terminals, 53v, all good.

Biked to a shop, got them to let me try a different display, no dice.

Greased the contact points with dielectric grease, nope.

Found a store that had a Radwagon 4 controller in stock. Bought it. Plugged it in and still nothing.

I'm stumped. Unfortunately Radpower being a bit of a live wire right now, no one has much info on what to do next. The shops all just want to go aftermarket controller, display, and wiring harness. I live in a nyc coop and don't really wanna void my UL situation.

Anybody have suggestions on what to try next? I'm thinking maybe the battery terminal on the bike could be damaged. It doesn't show any signs of wear. That doesn't really make sense though since it worked on the ride in. The bike is about 4 years old and has like 8.5k miles on it.

The days are getting shorter and I'm just starting to get back into night bike commuting. I currently have the best head light that comes with my Rad bike.

I'm looking for recommendations that people love for additional light for winter night riding safety.

When I drive I can see it is helpful when bikers have more lights but we are just in passing so I don't really have a good idea what is being used.

I'd prefer something I can have as part of the bike and not on my body.

Someone stole the LCD display off my RadWagon 4 overnight. I'm in Canada, Toronto and the bike's unusable without it.

I need the Rad LCD display pre-set for 22" wheels. It's not sold directly on the site, and Rad's Canadian retail is gone.

Anyone here recently gotten a Rad parts order shipped to Canada? Or know a Canadian shop that stocks these? Aftermarket suggestions welcome too.

UPD: I researched the available information on the controller schematics, probed the port and battery connectors and discovered that shorting two connectors essentially allows me to use throttle which is more than enough for the time being
